I waited for Zain's return from Kimi's apartment, she teaches Zain stuff that school does.

My leg bounced as I stared my front door down from my seated position on my single couch. Where are they? They're 5 minutes late.

I still heard two heartbeats in the apartment across from mines, which is Kimi's apartment.
Even though their heartbeats confirm that they're still here, I need to see for myself.

I heard them coming out of her apartment and that was my cue to get him. Quickly I reached my knob and turned it, Zain and Kimi were standing in the hallway having a conversation with big smiles on.

When they seen me their smiles grew, "Good Afternoon Janunu."

Kimi knew my situation since Zain explained it to her in his baby terms. She still talks and acknowledge me.

My face remained neutral as I looked at her, she nodded her head before saying her goodbye to Zain.

I took Zain and locked us in the apartment. Zain quickly went to sit on the couch and began his homework. I looked at what his homework was about, the worksheet was about the letter J.

And he had to name 5 things that start with J. The first thing he put down was my name but he spelled it incorrectly.

I took it from him and wrote Jade. What? That's not my name, it's Janunu.

Zain frowned as he looked back at the paper and me. Soon he gasped in shock, "Your name is Jade!" He yelled happily.

I felt my body smile, the f*ck is going on here?

He then began writing my name on the second line, he still wrote it incorrectly. Again my body corrected him and put Janunu.

I think I understand whats going on here, my second personality's name is Jade.

Jade left him alone and went to prepare him food. Taking bread and peanut butter, she made a peanut butter sandwich for him.

Jade gave it to him and sat on the floor, she took his homework from him and moved it aside.

His cheeks jiggled with each chew, she smiled and pinched his cheek playfully. This made Zain smile and pinch her cheek too.

He swallowed his food, "Mommy, tomorrow is your birthday." He said feeling happy of himself for finally being able to remember my birthday.

Jade smiled as she bent his ear forward, he giggle. "I promised you I'd remember, and look I remembered."

Kimi is truly doing a great job teaching my son his academics, she's also a great landlady. We've been living here rent free and-

The heartbeats doubled as they got closer, the only people living in this apartment complex are Kimi, the old lady, and me. There are too many heartbeats moving our way.

Jade rose to her feet and grabbed Zain, "Hey, momm-" She sent him a glare, silencing him.

Taking him to the closet, Jade pulled the already broken floorboard. There was a small space down there for one person.

Jade looked back at Zain who was worried, "Mommy I don't wanna go down there."

Jade patted his feet and he shook his head no. "Please mommy, I don't wannabe by myself. I don't wanna leave you." He whined on the brink of crying.

Her heart wallowed, seeing him upset was breaking her. She hugged his small body then held his face, his eyes were full of tears.

He blinked his eyes and before the tears could even start running down his face, she wiped it away.

Balling our fist, Jade softly punched Zain's tiny chest three times. He sniffled, "You promise to come back for me?"

Jade nodded her head, he smiled a little before looking over at hole. He took in a deep breath before going over to it, she helped him get in and properly covered him.

After making sure the closet was secure, she went to the kitchen to get weapons. The only thing she can find was the butter knife she used to make Zain's food.

Loud yelling from Kimi was heard just a few doors down, they're getting closer. They're loud gear and footsteps came our way and stopped just in front of my door.

I will not hide, if Enzo wants me then he better bring his top fighters.

The door was broken down with a single kick from the people on the other side. They poured in with guns searching the room, they were policemen?

Weird, Enzo doesn't work with the feds.

"Metti giu' la pistola!" They yelled. From my time here in Italy i picked up on the language, they were telling me to put down my weapon.

Jade threw the knife at one of their eyes, and that's when they began shooting. Quickly she ran behind the couch and used it as cover, but that didn't hold up long.

So she charged for the closest fed she can see.

They come into our home and disturb our peace, no one is leaving here alive.

She kicked his knee in, receiving a yell from him and attention from his peers. They shot their guns our way, so she used their friend as a shield.

Then she dropped his body and took his gun, it's been a while since she last held one. Automatically, she shot at our intruders' s heads, killing them off one by one.

The moment her last bullet left the gun, she threw the gun at the last officer's heads. Next she grabbed his head and brought it to her knee.

He fell to the ground, his face painted with blood. Just as she was about to stomp on his face, a hand chopped our neck, preforming the MasuKaze.

Pressure points are aways an easy knock out.

Thursday - 7:03 A.M.

I blinked my eyes open coming in view of a bright white room. Looking around i seen the things you see in a hospital.

The window binds were closed preventing the early sunshine rays from coming in. A note was pasted on my bedside table, I'll be right back.

My heart started to panic, oh no Enzo caught me. Quickly I moved to get up but was stopped by my restraints. I was cuffed to the bed rail.

As panic took over me, my senses were blocked. All that rummaged my mind was that Enzo has me cornered. What if he found Zain?!

The door to my room opened and a man in a white coat stepped in, he smiled, "Good Morning Janunu, your heart rate is rising. How are you feeling?"

I repeatedly pulled at my restraints, wanting to hurry up and find Zain. "WHERE IS HE?!!!!" I yelled.

The doctor backed out of the room in a hurry. I dislocated both my thumbs and pulled my hands out of the cuffs.

I ripped off all of the wires that were connected to me then jumped out of bed. Ignoring my hospital attire, I left the room.

The moment i stepped out I'm faced with a busy hallway. Huh? I was busy panicking that I didn't even get a chance to listen to heartbeats.

People were running and pacing back and forward, no one seemed to have noticed me.

I focused my hearing on Zain's heartbeat, only his heartbeat can calm my chaotic mind.

Found him! He was on the left of me just two stories higher and with that I ran to him. The moment i see him, we are leaving. I don't know where Enzo is but I wanna be gone before i can catch him.

Turning a corner my eyes landing on a group of people, not just any group of people, my family. Zain caught my eye, his eyes were red and wet. He distanced himself from everyone.

"Zain" I said, the first word to have come out of my mouth in 2 years. I'm finally in control! I was so used to being out of control that i didn't even notice i was in control.

Zain's face lit up when he seen me, "Mommy!!" He yelled in happiness as he ran to me. I felt myself tear up as I kneeled down to his height.

He hugged me with his small arms as I kissed all over his face, he giggled at my show of affection.

Zain pulled away from me, "I didn't eat nothing, I swear. I didn't even let my guard down either." He said.

I smiled softly knowing that he was telling the truth. During his 5 years of development, Jade and I taught him the basics of our version of self defense.

Don't take any food or drinks from any one. Don't sleep in foreign places. Observe every little detail of everything. Never let your guard down, and especially don't trust anyone.

Zain doesn't know his family other than me, so him using his defensive skills on them is a good thing. He's learning.

"You did a good job, I'm proud of you." I said sincerely happy for him. He showed me his precious smile.

"You talking!" He yelled. I nodded moving his long curly brown hair away from his eyes. He leaned in my ear, "I see a fake you and she really nice." He whispered in my ear.

I chuckled and stood to my feet, still holding onto him. His legs wrapped around me as he hid his face away from everyone.

Facing my family, I seen many shocked looks. Not a word left my mouth, honestly I don't know what to feel or say.

When I got kidnapped, I thought they would be grateful that I was gone. Until I over heard Enzo say something to his cousin about how my family are looking for me.

That gave me hope that I was going to get saved, but time went by and nothing happened so I lost my hope.
