Flora POV

I glared at Charles and his sister Leah. I was at their home because of my new disguise...which was weird for me. I felt terrible leaving mom but I had to make it look believable that I'm not a Koneko since the school doesn't have dorm rooms yet.

I slowly chew my food while the rest of their family was staring at me around the dinning table. Luckily I didn't have my ears and tail to make it weirder.

"Who are you?" one of his scary looking sisters asked.

"Flora, Flora Russell" I said, forcing a smile. I lied about my last name.

"Age?" another asked.

"15"

"Gender?"

My right eye twitched. "Female"

His dad folded his arms, smirking at me. "So my son carried a girl here because she's unfortunate and a old friend. Seems like Charles" he chuckled.

"Dad," Charles looked at him angrily.

"He carries a lot of girls here-"

"Stop lying, father" Leah said, eating her vegetarian meal.

He huffed, not giving up any eye contact. I blinked, wondering what's going on. I realized Charles youngest sister, Elle was smiling at me.

I released myself into my new bed in my pajamas Charles lent me. It felt nice and the clothes smelt like him. I blushed.

I heard small footsteps going closer to my door. Elle faced me, holding a carrot. Crap. She fucking knows....

"Hi, miss" she smiled softly.

My body shivered while I did a robotic smile. "What you doing with that carrot?" I asked.

"To feed you." she giggled. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone" she said, sitting beside me.

I sighed, taking the carrot from her. I nibbled on it then she freaking patted my arm. "Good girl" she laughed.

"I'm not some pet, kid" I said angrily.

"You don't need to be a pet to be loved this way. I think you are nice to my big brother" she winked.

I didn't answer her.

She laid down beside me. I smiled a little getting comfortable into my new bed. It felt soft...like clouds. I never had a bed with a mattress before.

I'm living royalty life now.

Tears ran down my cheeks knowing that I miss my home and the consequences if I got caught as a Koneko. But, I want to become something great in the future. A Great Wizard.

I woke up in the morning, stretching out my arms. That little brat was still asleep beside me. She was even holding another carrot. Wait...was I sleep eating or something?

I won't be taken seriously by this girl!

I quickly freshen up and changed into my uniform. I ran to Charles room to tell him to get ready for school.

I trembled, staring at his shirtless body laying in his bed. He was still asleep and drooling.

"Wake up Charlie!"

He screamed, rolling off the bed. He glared. "It's Charles" he frowned.

"Charles...Charlie, same damn thing" I scoffed.

He stood up on his feet and smirked. "Like the view?"

"You look like a wrinkled potato"

His smirked dropped. "Mean"

Time skipped...

I came out of his family carriage with him. He held my hand and kept having that smirk that made me cringe so hard. We walked into the school building as students looked at us. I felt uncomfortable, covering my eyes.

"Flora, I'm here" he chuckled.

"Flora, I'm here" I mimicked him. "Like that can fucking help" I rolled my eyes.

"Someone is in a bad mood today" he pouted.

"Someone has a big ego today. What's up with the smirking? Like you are trying to make your mouth fall off your sandy face"

Before he could answer, a girl younger than me approached me with a broad smile. I awkwardly smiled back at her.

"Hi, I'm Caroline Magi" she said as I looked at her aqua green eyes.

"Flora" I sighed.

"Charles" he did a toothy smile.

She awed patting his back then squeezed his cheeks unexpectedly. "He's so cute"

"Thanks?" he smiled nervously.

Weird people here.....I need to leave.

She grabbed my hand and smiled proudly. "You two better join my group. My big brother and others already did" she smirked.

"No" I said bluntly.

"Why?!" she wined.

"Because I can chose. Bye, Ms. Magic" I walked off to my class.

"It's Magi!" she said, stamping her foot.

Charles POV

I smiled nervously, looking at a pissed Flora when I introduced her to Caroline's team.

"Arlin" a muscular dark skinned guy shook me hand.

He's the one that controls water and I'm just trembling, looking at his appearance. He could rip my head off. But, Flora just started laughing at him.

"Man, you look weird!"

"You are testing me?!" he asked angrily.

She's just laughing, rolling on the grass in the school garden that we are currently at.

"This bitch is annoying" he mumbled.

She suddenly looked scary, glaring at him with a dark ora surrounding her. "Heh?"

I apologized for him before anything happens between them.

The other three members: Angel, Loriane and Caroline's brother Vernon laughed nervously at us ignoring them.

BTW Loriane is my mom's name.

"So I planned our quest already. It says that children at daycares are suddenly disappearing on earth without a trace" Caroline said, holding a paper.

"Maybe it's just non magic people doing it. Not fun" Arlin scoffed.

"That's rude. Do it for the children" she pouted.

The rest of us did the puppy eyes at him. "For the children"

"The fucking children, man" Flora tried harder with her puppy eyes but failed looking like a old woman. Not in a cute way.

He hesitated then shook his head.  "Fine" he chuckled.
