Hollis POV

I woke up in the night in our small camp somewhere in the Cat village. Nadia was the only one up otherwise than me. She looked emotionless while looking at the fire burn.

"Nadia, are you okay?" I smiled nervously.

"Mom must be scared" she said in a shaky tone, "I want to know where she is now, I can't stand this....she might be dead already" she said hugging her legs closer to her chest.

"Don't say that!" I said holding her hands.

"Isn't it the truth?" she said coldly.

"Nadia.....calm down, I have been there. This won't help or do anything....it's just going to make it worse even your emo-"

She cried hitting me against my chest, "I want my mom now!" she screamed.

I slowly hugged her and she cried against my chest.

"Everything will be fine" I spoke softly.

"Hollis...." she said hugging my waist.

I kissed her on her forehead. She dragged me closer to her and kissed me on the lips.

"Nadia!" I blushed extremely purring and stared at her.

"Good boy" she laughed silently scratching behind my ear.

"Nadia, stop that" I sighed.

"Good boy" she giggled rubbing my hair.

I suddenly purred rubbing my head under her arm. I smiled as she continued petting me.

"Stop" I laughed while she played with my tail.

"Hollis, say meow" she smiled.

"No" I glared at her.

"Awe, come on!" she wined.

I sighed glaring at her, "Meow" I sighed.

She was on the ground surrounded by blood from her nose.

"Nadia" I smiled nervously.

Everyone woke up and we started our journey to the witch's house. Saffron and Errol petted Katsuko and Karma while on our journey.

"Look, a sign!" Elisa smiled proudly pointing at a sign to the directions of some places.

"We don't need them, Hollis knows this place at the back of his hand" Blaire sighed.

I growled sensing someone nearby. Everyone took out weapons and made sure there elements were nearby.

"Hi!" my old friend, Rachel smiled as her hamster ears moved rapidly.

"Another adorable one!" Amaria smiled hugging herself.

"Sensei!" I smiled running into Rachel's arms.

"Student!" she smirked hugging me back.

"What?" Jayson smiled nervously.

"I was Hollis babysitter, he's still so adorable and innocent!" she laughed rubbing my hair, "He's a kind boy if you get to know him" she smiled.

"Stop complementing me" I smiled proudly.

"I called you adorable and you told me to stop" Elisa pouted.

Rachel pointed at the witch's house and folded her arms, "I'm not letting you go there" she glared at me.

"Why? I'm saving some people important" I smiled nervously.

"But you don't understand, her daughter Mai learnt to control people bodies through the element of water" she sighed.

"Hollis too" Katsuko laughed nervously.

"I'm not using water in that way, it's evil and may kill the person" I said in a serious tone.

"That's the Hollis we know" Amy chuckled.

Rachel laughed punching me in my arm, "I'll be going back home and I'll tell the village you are here. We have so much to catch up on....oh your mom also told me when you come back you need to do a ritual since your birthday is next week"

Nadia and the others glared at me, "Birthday huh?"

"You didn't tell them?!" Rachel shook me.

"I didn't think it was important" I sighed.

Katsuko and her team quietly hid in the bushes near the witch's house. My teammates and I went inside the house. It was really quite and dark. Mai was sitting down in a chair beside a lamp.

"Oh, hi" she smirked drinking a cup of tea.

"Where are they?" Blaire said angrily.

"Oh....them, well there is Mr. Mizu" she smiled pointing at Mr. Mizu.

His hands and legs were tied. He struggled to talk with a cloth tied over his mouth.

"This is cruelty" Julee spoke softly.

"Like killing my mother!" Mai said angrily, "You are lucky I didn't kill these annoying children"

"Where's mom?!" Nadia asked as fire surrounded her hands.

"Oh....her, she is a good source for my potions" Mai laughed.

Mrs. Toski was hanging above a pot of hot water, "Na....Nadia!" she sounded different.

"Oh no.....the spell has been on her too long" Jayson said looking at her worriedly.

"Mom I'm coming!" Nadia ran to Mrs. Toski but Mai blocked her with a wall of ice.

Mrs. Toski cried harder trying to escape as the rope was bringing her closer to the hot water in the pot.

"That's it Mai" Blaire said throwing Elisa towards Mai.

Elisa's body was surrounded by lightning, "Lightning storm" she created a large ball of lightning and released it.

Mai struggled holding it. Jayson controlled metal objects surrounding the lightning ball making it stronger.

"Maximum!" Nadia pushed it with fire.

Mai screamed as the ball destroyed her body and disappeared.

Julee saved Mrs. Toski in time and untied Mr. Mizu hands and legs then his mouth. I found Mrs. Magi crying in a small closet.

"Shhh.....it's okay" I smiled carrying her in my arms.

Jayson turned them back to their normal ages. Mrs. Toski and Mrs. Magi cried leaning against Mr. Mizu back.

"I'll try to calm them down, after all I knew them from when we were a team at Yōso Academy" he chuckled.

"Alrin, you will make a cup of mint tea like always did?" Mrs. Magi spoke softly.

"Yeah, and Flora I'll make sure your husband knows you are okay" he sighed, "Let's go home students" he smiled nervously.

"Yeah" I laughed.

We heard Errol wining about Mai not attacking him. We laughed patting his back.

"Next time newbie" Elisa smiled.

"Awe!" Amaria wined.

Everyone except me and Mrs. Toski went through the portal.

"Hollis" she said holding my hand and dragged me back from the portal.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know the consequences of being caught as a Koneko Tribe citizen in Yōso Academy?" she said in a serious tone.

"Actually....no" I laughed nervously.

She sighed glaring at me, "The consequences are extreme slavery or being hung" she said not looking at me. She took out a picture of a man wearing red armor and fire surrounding his hands. "That's my father, he was caught and hung in front of my village and me" she sighed.

My heart skipped a beat and I stared at her, "What....?" I said in a shaky tone.

"Hollis, my daughter somehow likes you for some odd reason," she rolled her eyes, "Don't be selfish and hurt her feeling" she smiled innocently.

"Yeah" I sighed.

"Oh....and it seems you didn't tell anyone you are the Cat village Chief son, your Highness" she said raising her eyebrow.

"Wait...how did you find out?!" I became frightened.

"I saw a picture of your father, he's definitely the Chief," she chuckled, "but for a Chief's son you are sure...." she smiled nervously.

"What?" I glared at her.

"Normally the Chief's son would be.....rough and tough. Don't you get training?" she laughed nervously.

"I.....ran away from those training and always went to the river to practice using my element," I chuckled, "and it was worth it" I smiled proudly.

"Idiot" she sighed.
