Video games. Everywhere. All over your room they were. Your deck even was video game themed. You've probably already played every single one and you've been to the city arcade multiple times. So let me tell you the story of how one person broke your winning streak.

Dueling wasn't your best hobby, but it was a hobby. It was how you met your best friend Yuzu Hiragi and your boyfriend Yuya Sakaki. It all started as a usually normal day, but then your parents gave you the news that you'd be attending You Show and then the week of embarrassment started.

Where could you start with describing everything? Maybe, you shouldn't start at all, how about we skip to how your winning streak was broken. One day, you just happened to hear crying. It was weird. You didn't know where it was coming from, that is, until you came up to a giant tree. The sobs were louder when you got closer to the tree and when you stopped, you met a certain someone. Yuya, Yuya Sakaki, the happiest kid at your school. The two of you had actually talked and became friends. He was all about happiness and making people laugh, smile, or grin, so why was he crying?

"Hey, you ok?" He looked up at you, or at least you thought he was. Those big goggles were kinda blocking the view of his eyes.

"Yeah, sure" uncertainty stuck in your mind. Might as well invite the cutie over for video games. Wait, what? Maybe you had a slight crush on the Tomato Circus Boy.

"Wanna come over to my place to play some video games?" He just nods his head. His face was still a bit puffy, but you weren't planning on mentioning it. He hops up and the two of you start your journey to your home.

(5 minutes later)

"...And done! System's up!" Though your system was already set up, it was only single player, but this wasn't your first rodeo with game system settings. You gave Yuya a controller and sat next to him, pressing start. The mode select came up on the screen, and you chose multiplayer, a character select screen coming up on the flat screen.

"So, uh, how do you play?" you sweat drop at his question. Looks like we've got ourselves a noob.

"First thing's first, choose a character to play as..." you sat beside him and held his hands in yours, showing him how to hold the controller and use the controls. A tint of pink was visible on both your cheeks, but you were trying to focus on teaching Yuya, not paying attention to a certain someone staring at you.

"This is so easy!" Yuya happily exclaims. You two were finally getting to play.

"Then why did it take 300 times of explaining for you to get it?" You laughed out trying to focus on the game at hand. Yuya had finally learned how the game worked, and now you two were battling to the finish. The smashing of buttons could be heard throughout the house.

"Game Over! Player 2 wins!" Came from a voice in the game. Yuya beat you. It had never been done before. Your winning streak was broken.

"I won? I won!" Yuya happily jumped around. As he jumped and shouted, he pulled you into a hug and squeezed tight. A light blush crept on your face. You both stopped jumping and stared at each other.

"How about a rematch, except with a couple of terms?" You asked. Yuya nodded.

"Sure! If you win?"

"We pretend you didn't break my winning streak and declare me the best gamer you've ever met. If you win?"

"It's a surprise!" A surprise, seriously? Maybe it would be something like, 'You have to buy me a pack of cards' or something. Maybe he just didn't have anything in mind.

He won again. At least now you get to find out his surprise for winning.

"So, the surprise?" He smirked at your question. You were still looking at the TV in surprise for not winning the second time, not noticing the Tomato Circus Boy staring at you. When you turned to face him, your lips met with his.

"Well, I gotta go! See ya at school!" and that's how your winning streak was broken and how you and Yuya started dating.
