'Come on, Alex! We're going to be late for dinner!' Dark cried, pulling Alexis' arm. She shook her head and buried her blushing face even deeper into the pillow.

'No! I can't face him again!' Alex cried, her voice muffled by the pillow. The wardrobe jumped over towards them.

'Time to get ready for dinner! Now, let's see here. Hm... Aha! This would suit you wonderfully!' The wardrobe smiled, pulling out a green evening gown with sequins. And there was flipping glitter. Glitter on the dress.

Alexis sat up and smiled. 'Thank you but I'm not coming down to dinner.'

The wardrobe looked surprised. 'But you have to! Did you forget tonight is the dance?' Alexis looked alarmed.

'Dance?! What dance? I don't know how to dance! I wasn't invited so I have an excuse!' Alexis ranted. Dark rolled his eyes and flew away. He flew back carrying an invitation between his paws. He threw it and Alexis' face and went to the packet of marshmallows.

Alexis took the invitation and read it. Her eyes widening as she read. She was now in full panic mode. 'AHHH!!! Help! I have no idea how to dance! Help me, Dark!'

The wardrobe sighed and placed the dress on her bed. 'Relax, dear. You won't need to dance as long as your not asked to.'

  Alexis calmed down a bit. Dark suddenly started rummaging under the bed. 'Dark? What are you searching for?'

  Dark's little black head appearing. 'Uh... Something I forgot to give to you.'

  Alexis walked over to Dark and dark pulled out a necklace with colourful little beads. The beads hung from some green ivy. He brought the necklace over to Alexis and placed it in her hands.

  'Happy birthday, Alex! I bet you forgot today was your birthday.' Dark said. Alexis held up the necklace and choked.

  'You made this for me?' Alexis asked, tears forming in her eyes. Dark nodded and was tackled in a hug by Alexis. 'Aww! Thank you!'

  'H-hey! Let go of meh!' Dark cried, struggling to get lose and failing tremendously.

  Soon, Alexis calmed down and she answered Dark's question. 'Heh. Yeah, I sort of forgot today was my birthday. I must have forgot it because of the happenings around here.'

  'That always happens.' Dark smiled. Then, he threw the dress at you.

  'NOW, GET DRESSED! WE ARE GOING TO THAT DANCE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!' Dark shouted. Alexis rolled her eyes and went to change.

  Soon, Alexis was walking towards the dining hall. Dark sat in her purse munching on some marshmallows. Someone tapped her shoulder and Alexis saw Yuzu and Rin. They were both dressed in evening gowns as well.

  'Alex! You look amazing!' Yuzu gasped as the two girls scanned Alexis up and down. Alexis had done her hair in curls with little diamonds in it. She didn't wear make-up 'cause Alexis is on the natural side. Alexis' eyes were specially bright tonight.

  'Hi, guys! Wow! Yuzu, Rin! You look beautiful!' Alexis commented. Yuzu blushed while Rin giggled.

  'Thanks.' They both said together. The girls continued walking until they reached the dining hall. They walked inside and saw Yugo, Yuto, Yuri and.... Yuya. Well, at least not in Berserk form.

  Yuya smiled. Alexis frowned. It was a fake smile. It wasn't the same smile Yuya used to give her. He was hiding something. She kept quiet during dinner.

  Yuzu jabbed Alexis in the ribs, making her cry in pain. 'Hey! What was that for?' Alexis demanded. Yuzu said nothing but pointed at Yuya who quietly excused himself and walked out of the dining hall.

  'Follow him.' Yuzu whispered. Alexis blushed and nodded. She quietly said she was full and excused herself as well.

  Alexis growled. Stupid shoes! Alexis couldn't run much because she was wearing heels. She took them off and Dark flew out of her purse.

  'Hey, go after Yuya. I sense he wants to tell you something.' Dark whispered, using his magic and making the shoes shrink. He put her shoes into her purse and Alexis kissed him on the head.

  'Thanks.' Alexis smiled and ran bare footed. Dark flew after her. Alexis followed Yuya. Her feet making no sound at all. Yuya smiled to himself.

  'She only sees me as a friend...' Yuya mumbled, tears started trickling down his cheeks. 'And to think that I wanted to ask her to dance. I'm so stupid.'

  Yuya went into a room and Alexis followed him, well not after asking Dark to make her invisible. Inside the dark room, she saw a punching bag, a picture of a family, a closet, a bathroom and a bed. Suddenly, a thought struck her. She was inside Yuya's bedroom! She couldn't help wondering, why does Yuya keep a punching bag in his room?

  Yuya walked into the bathroom and came out wearing fresh gym clothes. He walked up to the punching bag and started punching it. While he punched, he cried. Letting all the anger, the sadness, the depression out.

  'Damn it!' Yuya cried, punching the bag with his fists. 'Why does it have to be me?'

  'I'm an idiot! I just had to f*cking fall for her! I just had to fall for Alex!'

  'Damn! What am I even doing? Keeping her prisoner! What did I tell her in the garden? A bunch of stupid lies! I'm an idiot! I should die!'

  Yuya stopped punching the bag and sat on his bed. Alexis suddenly heard Berserk's voice.

  'The girl. She's here. In this room. She heard your confession.' Yuya turned and looked around.

  'But, I don't see anyone here.'

  'She is hiding by the corner of your room. The one near your bathroom.' Berserk said again. Alexis held her breath.

  Yuya walked up to the corner and felt it. He felt her. 'A-Alex?'

  Alexis sighed and willed Dark to turn her visible again. 'Yuya.' She said softly.

  'You heard me? You heard everything?' Yuya asked, a blush creeping up his face. Alexis nodded and blushed.

  Then, she leaned in and whispered, 'I like you too, Yuya.' Yuya looked at Alexis, blushing furiously.

  Alexis took the chance while he was distracted and made an escape. She dived for the door and ran out. She could hear Yuya's voice call out to her but she kept on running.

  She ran into the dining room and saw her friends still sitting there. They looked at her and wiggled their eyebrows. Alexis lightly punch Yuzu and Rin.

  'No! Don't even think about it!' Alexis cried. Yugo and Yuto hopped up to Alexis.

  'Are you alright?' They asked, then glared at each other.

  Alexis chuckled and said, 'I'm fine.'

  Yuya suddenly appeared at the doorway dressed in a tux(?) (Is that what you call them?)

  'It is time for the dance. Let me escort you all to the ballroom.' Yuya said, bowing. Judging by his voice, Alexis knew Yuya was taken over by Berserk once more.

  He led them to the ballroom and started the music. The melodious music filled Alexis' ears. She started swaying to the music. She was so engrossed in the music that she didn't realize Yuya took over Berserk once again and was standing right in front of her.

  He took Alexis' hand and kissed the back of it lightly. Alexis, who felt presence, snapped out of her daze and blushed at the scene in front of her.

  Yuya caressed her cheek and then smiled cheekily, 'Would you care for a dance, m'lady?'
