The carriages moved towards the palace with a large group. Kul was riding his horse assisting Zaina in the palace whole 15 carriages were trailing behind them. And all of them were filled with dowries. It was also to show others the influence of the military family which put so much efforts in Zaina who has now become the concubine of Yuvraj.

When they entered the palace gate the palace was as usual. There's nothing different. Even if the status of concubine is not high or need no preparation like the main wife, but still there should be some arrangements to welcome the bride. In normally it should be the groom's mother to come and perform some rituals to welcome the concubine but they couldn't see anyone. Not even a servant. Though Yuvraj lives in the palace but his place was at side. He lives in the West side of the palace also known as Yuv Palace, the residence of Yuvraj with honour.

Kul looked around but couldn't seen anyone other than few palace servants who were doing usual works in the yard. He frowned and waited for sometime but no one came to welcome them. Though he was angry he couldn't make any scene infront of Yuv Palace since his sister is about to enter as concubine. Half a day passed waiting under the sun heat. When it was noon they saw a elderly maid walked out as the gate of Yuv Palace opened.

"So the concubine had arrived" she said disdainfully. Her eyes narrowed the carriages but didn't show any happiness. "Yuvraj said the concubine directly enter the palace. Since it's just a mere concubine there's no need for any formalities"

Kul wanted to refute. They did not gave any face to them. It shows how dissatisfied they are. He knows whatever they planned was a cheating to push Zaina into the palace but they don't have other option. With same mind Yuvraj will never agree to marry Zaina. Besides they have no reason to send Zaina into the palace too. Since Zaina expressed her feeling about Yuvraj they could only use this tricks to send her in.

Slowly Zaina claimed down from the carriage with her maids. Her face was flushed with embarrassment because of the cold treatment on the gate. The servants moved the chests from the carriage.

The elderly maid saw this and showed a disgusting face "Yuvraj's order only to bring concubine in the palace with her cloths. There's no need for other things to enter"

Kul's eyes moved. If they don't accept the dowry it means Zaina was not accepted as proper concubine in the palace. Now Yuvraj only want her to enter without any dowry which means he don't take her as his concubine either.

"These are all small gifts from our general mansion. We will be glad if Yuvraj accept this small gifts" Kul tried to use his gentle voice talking to the maid.

"I have said what I needed. If general has any dissatisfaction then you can talk to Yuvraj himself. I have nothing to say in this matter. And since concubine had entered the palace there's no need for general family to worry about. She has become Yuvraj's people from today so there's no need for general and others to interfere in her life again" the elderly maid said.

Zaina was already stepped inside the gate and turned to look back. Her face was sad as she looked at Kul. She felt like today it was her last day to see her brother and other family members. Kul wanted to say more but  before he could utter the gate of the Yuv Palace closed tightly. He clenched his fist in anger. Gritting his teeth he ordered to return. They way the carriages came it went in the same way.

Zaina was brought in the room. The room was simple and there's no arrangements for a couple to spend night. She was placed in normal room. She frowned when she saw the set up. In actual way there should be some arrangements since she and Parv have to spend night today.

The elderly maid brought few maids "lunch is here. Once you are done, the maids will take the dishes away. The dinner will be served at the end of Pradosha"

Zaina looked at the food served on table. It was a rice, dal, vegetables, roti and bowl of curd with a glass of water. She frowned and looked up.

"This is all?"

Elderly maid narrowed her eyes "isn't it enough? What do you want more? It's enough to fill your stomach fully. Just eat it so that I can report it back"

"Do you know who I am? How can I eat such a plain food? I have never eaten anything like this. Such a dull food, only low grade maids eat it" Zaina glared at her.

"What you used to eat has no concern with us. Since you are here, your title in this palace is a concubine and you are not that spoilt young lady anymore. You need to adjust yourself or it will be your loss"

Zaina suddenly got angry. She couldn't believe that she had to endure all this insult like this "where is his highness? I want to meet him" she demanded.

"Yuvraj is not someone you can meet as you please. He will come when he has the mood. You don't have any right to demand anything. Now you are going to eat or not?"

"I told you. Who will eat such trash? I want meat and sweets. Bring them for me"

"As I said you are not allowed to demand anything. You are just a concubine without any official status. Who do you think you are to order me like that? A mere concubine is just similar to a palace maid humph! Take the food away" the elderly maid ordered and turned around. Soon the maids left closing the door shut.

Zaina stood there with a shock. What's happening? She was being compared to a maid? She thought even using dirty means once she entered the palace she could win Parv's heart and rule this palace but not only she was not allowed to meet him but even any right of her grabbed away just like that? Suddenly her legs become soft and she fell on bed with a thud.

In the Minister Mansion the atmosphere was gloomy. Everyone knew that a concubine was entering the palace before Miraya which was a  huge insult of Miyara's face. She cried in her room all day and refused to eat anything. Sudden her body felt uncomfortable and she felt itching all over her body. She stared to scratch her body but every search turned skin red and later it become swollen.

Madam Urvi hurried in Miraya's room after hearing the news. She gasped when she saw Miraya's condition.

"What happened? How you become like this?"

Miyara was lying on bed with her skin red with scratch marks on it. In some places there was blood on the skin.

"Mother, it's so itchy, I can't control" Miraya tried to scratch again.

"What are you looking at hold her hand and don't let her scratch" Madam Urvi ordered. Immediately two maids hold Miraya's hand.

"Let me go. It's so itchy" Miraya moaned.

Madam Urvi looked at her with frown. If she continues to scratch it will damage her skin and after that how will she get married with Yuvraj? But she couldn't understand why she has become like this.

"Go call doctor Shen" she ordered one maid.

Just then another maid ran inside "Mistress Lady Myra also screaming scratching her skin. It is similar to Lady Miyara's condition"

"What?" Madam Urvi stood up. "Go bring the second lady here. Immediately and do not let her scratch"

Few maids rushed out. Madam Urvi sat down with a heavy heart. What's happening? They are all good then how come they are infected like this?

"Let me go..... Let me goooo...." Myra was dragged back in the room while screaming. Her body was all red from the scratches but her hands were trying to scratch more.

"Tie her hands" Madam Urvi ordered sering this. Myra was pushed on the chair and her hands were tied behind her back.

"Mother don't be cruel to me. My body is iching to mich I can't control it. I want to scratch. Let my hand go please" Myra yelled painfully.

Soon Doctor Shen arrived. When he saw the scene he was frightened. He never thought to see such scene today.

"Doctor Shen" Madam Urvi felt relieved "please check what's happening to my daughters. Why they are behaving like this"

"Don't worry Madam, let me check first" Doctor Shen was well known in the capital. He works in the imperial hospital but since Minister Ohas has influence in the court it was easy for her to invite him personally.

"Hmmm.... This is allergic sign. Does misses ate something they have allergy with?" Doctor Shen asked.

Madam Urvi shook her head "their foods are all well checked before serving. Besides the maids here are all familiar with their likings"

Doctor Shen nodded "then they must have touched something which is mixed with the allergic powder. Looking at their condition it's clear that an dangerous allergic medicine has been used but how come it spread so fast all over body?"

Madam Urvi frowned. She pondered for a while "Doctor Shen is it possible to use the medicine in cloths?"

"Cloths? It is possible. They they wear cloths sprinkled with this allergic medicine it's also possible to have this reaction. I guess the medicine lingered on their body for a long time that's why they have such reaction"

"Can you cute it?"

"It's not impossible. Luckily I have some medicine to reduce the effects. They will be fine in two hours"

Madam Urvi clenched her fist. The cloths they wears are their own but the only different cloths they wore was the dresses sent by Nandini. This must be done by that slut. Does she thinks she can scheme and get away. Madam Urvi narrowed her eyes as anger bubbled in her.

"Doctor Shen after this can you please help me with something?" She asked.

Doctor Shen frowned "with what?"

Madam Urvi smiled "to catch the culprit"
