Humans has one such thing, named curiosity. It can kill those who are unsuspecting, and too focused on what they are curious at.

A man in a red jacket and denim jeans steered the car he is in towards the abandoned building, a hospital, or what once was one.

The man's name is Sean Vogel, a freelance journalist who got curious about local rumors about the abandoned hospital. They say that some people that go in never came back, and those who did came back refused to go back in even if forced. They would rather die than going back to that building.

Vogel had interviewed the people who visited the place once, but they refused to tell the whole story, only admitting that there is something evil in there.

Vogel stopped the car in front of the chain link fence gate blocking the way into the hospital's front yard.

He turned off the car's engine, and took his video camera from the passenger seat.

He turned it on, and went out of the car. He went closer to the gate, only to find it unlocked.

"Huh. Maybe I should've rammed it open back then."

He went back to the car and drove into the yard. He went out again, after making sure it's parked close to the hospital entrance.

Vogel opens the entrance door, which is unlocked and dusty from all the years it stood, only to find complete darkness inside.

"If they got freaked out only because of the dark then there's no story. Need to go in."

He turned on the camera's infrared feature, and navigated the receptionist desk in front of him. On top of it is a confidential folder, holding a document inside.

"Patient 13, room 13, hospitalized on a Friday the 13th. This is getting interesting." He said as he looked at the photo of the patient on the document. The hospital was suddenly closed and abandoned on the same date.

A high school girl with dull eyes and an empty expression, with long black hair that reaches her back.

"Aria Kitamoto. Found unconscious at home with a strange mark on the neck. Turns out to be signs of her being violently bullied."

Vogel finishes on reading the document, and puts it inside his bag.

He then went towards the hallways that leads to the patient rooms, and ends at the elevator.

He checked the room numbers, and he realized that room 13 is on the floor above him.

Vogel grunted, and found a door that leads to the stairwell. He took one floor up, and went out the door, and to his luck room 13 is right ahead of him.

He opens the door, and walked over to the bed. There are blood splatters on the sheets, and on the side table he finds a framed photograph, and a scalpel.

"Blood looks recent... Weird."

Vogel jumps in surprise when he touched the sheets. It's warm, as if someone had slept on it recently. He can also feel his heart skip a beat, painfully as he heard soft footsteps coming from outside the room, and it's heading towards him.

Quickly thinking, Vogel crawls down and hid under the bed. A moment later the camera records the person who went in.

A girl, her appearance matches with that of the document. This is Aria Kitamoto?

"Trespassing is a sin, you know?"

She walked closer to the bed, and began to rub the sheets.

"I know you're hiding somewhere."

Vogel heard the sound of the scalpel being removed from the side table, and Aria's voice became even more menacing.

"If I find you, be ready to be punished."

Aria then left the room, much to Vogel's relief. At least he now knew why there are many people who went missing inside the hospital.

Vogel crawled back out, and ran to the  stairs, went back down to the ground floor, and finally to the front desk again. However just as he was about to take one step outside, he felt his shirt being pulled from behind.

"Ahh, a young boy. Better yet, at my age. You're gonna be a good husband."

"H... Husband!? Piss off!"

"That's what my last husband candidate said, before I turned his body into stew."

Vogel then hits her in the head with the camera, but she still didn't release her hold.

"Oh, you're tough too. You're gonna be perfect."

With one chop to the back of the neck, Vogel goes down.

When Vogel gains his consciousness back, he finds himself being tied up onto a bed. In front of him is Aria, holding a scalpel. The only light in the room is a candle on the side table.

"Let's make a home movie. Our engagement here, in the hospital."

Vogel spat on her face, but then she slapped him in response.

"You're not the husband I wanted. Now die, as this death is being recorded."

She took the scalpel, and began to dissect his arms and legs, making him scream all the while.

After Vogel stopped screaming, and he began sobbing, Aria then proceeded to eviscerate him using the scalpel.

"What a shame what a shame what a shame what a shame what a shame what a shame"

She began to tear Vogel's body apart, in a fit of rage and laughter.

A week later, another explorer finds Vogel's camera and the footage it held became quickly viral after being shown to the public.

However, Vogel's body, alongside all the other victims were not found in the hospital. Where are they now?
