YUUKIS POV

"Lady Tsunade, I'd like for you to give my team and I a mission." I said, bowing my head.

I was standing in her office with Furiki, Roli and Kara, asking for the mission that they were promised.

"You want a mission?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No duh!" Furiki scoffed.

I slapped the back of his head. "Shut up." I hissed at him. "Sorry My Lady." I apologised to the woman who looked as if she would be throwing my student through the wall any second now. "But please."

She sighed. "Yuuki, I can't say no to you, you know that? At least go with Asuma or Kurenai or Kakashi or Sapphira or SOMEBODY!" She yelled. She took a deep breath. "Neji will go with you." She decided out of the blue.

I made a face. "Neji Hyuga?"

"That's him. He will come with you and your team on this mission."

"Not to be rude Milady, but has Neji got the qualifications? And I thought that I got to pick the person I go with?" Not to mention that Neji was one of the most arrogant people I have ever met.

"Neji is a Jounin, just like you." She glared, daring me to object again. "Alright. Now I will assign you a mission. It's in a small village hidden in the Sand called Kitowa. I believe you are familiar with the place."

I grounded my teeth together. "Very much so." It was on the S rank mission I went on with Hijikata and Ayame. The one that got them killed.

"Milady, you sent for me?" Neji walked in the door. "Hello." He greeted, seeing me standing there with my team.

"Hey Neji." I waved halfheartedly. "Team, this is Neji Hyuga, and will be coming with us on this mission."

Kara and Roli how respectfully, while Furiki crosses his arms. "Why is he coming?!? We don't need help from him!"

I slapped the back of his head. "Orders kid. Get used to them."

Neji and I were standing at the village entrance, arguing about when to camp, because we wanted to get to Kitowa as soon as we could.

Our mission was to track down the whereabouts of a merchant that travelled from village to village. Apparently he had run from the shinobi here in the leaf for stealing a scroll in the dead of night. He hadn't been hard to catch, as he was a commoner and not a fighter, so thats why we have been sent. The reason neji had been sent was to keep an eye on me, of all people.

Of course the only reason that the merchant would've gotten away was probably because nobody was expecting for him to run. Mind you, the scroll he tried to steal was forbidden. And the exact one that Naruto had stolen years ago.

"So we'll make camp tonight and then leave at dawn tomorrow?" Neji asked skeptically. He was trying to convince me that we should keep on going until the middle of the second day.

"Neji, you and I may be able to make the trip a lot faster than if we took as many breaks along the way as we will, but I don't think that the genin would be able to handle it, and I am not going to put them through that risk." I snapped. We had been over this a million times!

"But-"

"NEJI!" I yelled. "Enough is enough! As an ANBU and a Jounin and a sensei, shut up!"

He finally went silent.

"Not a good move trying Yuuki Senpai's patience. She'll eat you alive Neji." A lazy voice greeted.

"Always the voice of reason Shikamaru." I laughed. "But what are you doing here?"

"Lady Tsunade is sending me out on the mission as well." He sighed. "Such a drag."

I growled. "I'm going to kill the old bi-"

"Sensei!" Kara called out.

She was running towards us with Furiki and Roli by her sides.

They reached us and stopped, grinning. "We're ready to roll!"

"Great. Three genin on a mission that's gonna take days-"

"What a drag right?" I cut him off.

He sent me a half hearted glare.

"Okay. Guys, this is Shikamaru Nara. Shikamaru, this is Kara, Furiki and Roli. Team One."

"Hey." He greeted lazily.

"Another one!!" Furiki raged. "How many people are coming on this mission exactly?!?"

I glanced at him and he went silent.

"He's right. Why does Tsunade want to send so many people?" I demanded.

"Well..." Shikamaru tilted his head and scratched the back of his neck.

"Lady Hokage doesn't want you to lose control over your Tailed-Beast." Neji said bluntly.

I froze. "What?"

Shikamaru slapped a hand over Neji's mouth. "Don't answer." He snarled in his ear.

"You're telling me that I cannot go on a mission alone with my team because I'm a god damn Jinchuuriki?! Something that I had no control over! That's just stupid, and I do have control over Juro. Utter and complete control! So you both can stay here. I will deal with Tsunade when I get back. Lets go Team One." I snapped, going out the gate.

They followed me quickly, while Shikamaru and Neji stood inside the gate, sweat dropping.

"Should we go after her?"

"It'll be such a pain. But we'll follow tomorrow. I don't want to deal with an angry Hokage. Let Yuuki cool down a bit."

How dare she!? How dare that mangy old bitch do something like that, when she knows that I have perfect control!

Hearing my thoughts, Juro chuckled. *She may think many things Yuuki, but I would never have guessed that she would presume stupid things such as you not being in control. It's absurd.*

*You've got that right.* I growled back.

*Just calm down for the moment being. You don't want the curse mark acting up.*

I ignored the stinging pain in my shoulder for the time being. *It's getting worse.*

*I know. I wish there was something that I could do.*

*No. I wouldn't let you help me. You're a friend and my eternal partner. I have to deal with this on my own.*

*Don't forget to let people help you once in a while.* Juro reminded me.

"Yeah yeah, stupid, know-it-all wolf." I muttered.

"Sensei?" Roli was looking at me weirdly.

"Never mind me Roli. I'm just a little annoyed." I smiled.

"Okay." He shut his mouth.

"Furiki!" I yelled to the back.

"Yeah?"

"I want you and Roli to take front position, Kara, I want you to take the middle, and I'm going to cover you guys alright?"

"Right!"

We changed positions, running in the order I told.

MEANWHILE.....

"YOU WHAT?!?!?" Lady Tsunade screeched. "AM I UNDERSTANDING CORRECTLY? YOU LET YUUKI GO TO THAT VILLAGE ALONE?"

Neji and Shikamaru flinch. "Yes Milady. We did."

"Are you aware of the scroll that the merchant had tried to steal?" She growled.

"No Milady." They replied, now curious.

"If I had sent anybody else on this mission, it would have been a simple D Rank. But now...."

"Why did it suddenly become so dangerous? Why wouldn't Yuuki sensei be perfect for the job, even if it is? She's super strong, and a Jinchuuriki."

"That's the whole point Shikamaru. The forbidden scroll that the merchant tried to steal had been opened and most likely copied onto something else."

"It was a forbidden scroll?" Neji inquired.

"It wasn't just any forbidden scroll......"

"What one was it?"

...

"It's the one for how to release Tailed-Beasts from their hosts. Sending the beasts insane the moment they're released. Therefore, no matter how much control Yuuki has over Juro, it will not be enough."

I'm not entirely sure about this chapter, but I think that it works.

Sorry that its short, but I have been really busy this weekend so far, with my sisters formal last night and my horse riding comps to go to, I'm kind of rushing my chapters a bit.
