Three years.

It had been three years since I partially joined the Akatsuki. Three years since I had seen Naruto, and Sakura.

Three years since my little brother had betrayed me.

Deidara elbowed me in the ribs. "Wakey wakey!" he laughed.

I scowled at him. "I'm awake you douche."

I am now twenty two. A few weeks after i had joined, i had told Pain that if it came to a fight between the Akatsuki and the Leaf Village, i would pick the leaf. He had just nodded. My hair was pitch black now. The same shade of black Sasukes' hair was.

"Yuuki," Pain called.

"Yes sir?"

"You will be teaming up with Itachi and Kisame for this mission. Am i clear?"

"Crystal." I stood up and walked outside to meet my brother and Kisame.

Itachi hadn't changed a bit. Same old gloomy Itachi. Except when he was around me. He always seemed to cheer up a bit when I came around, maybe he knew that he couldn't hide his true personality from his twin.

"So you're coming with us this mission eh?" Kisame smirked.

"Yes. So what is it?"

"We are being sent to collect a bounty on someones head."

"And what am I to do?" I queried.

Itachi smirked. Kisame snorted. "Seduce him."

I laughed. "Tell me you're kidding."

They were serious.

"Oh great. This probably means that i have to wear some slutty outfit doesn't it?" I groaned. This was definitely not going to be a fun mission

They nodded. "Deidara, and Sasori are coming as well." Itachi told me.

"This day just gets better and better. Can we leave already?" These sort of missions always made me shifty, which was exactly why I kept changing my weight from foot to foot.

Kisame looked at Itachi, who nodded. "There is one complication however."

I stopped shifting. "What's the complication?"

"The town is near the Village Hidden in the Sand."

I narrowed my eyes. "Are you sure?"

He nodded. "Sasori and Deidara are continuing on from where we stop."

Why would they go to the Village hidden in the Sand? It made no sense. Even though i had been here for a while, i still don't get told of the Akatsukis plans so i had no clue about it.

"Yuuki, i need to talk with you."

I turned. "Kakazu? Of course."

When I had first joined the Akatsuki, Kakazu had despised me with a passion, which was something that was returned, and had been fought about, many of times. Now we were on a neutral standing ground, much to the relief of the other Akatsuki members, not including Hidan, who got a sick satisfaction from watching us fight. 

"So what did you want to talk to me about?"

"When are you leaving to Akatsuki?" he asked.

I sighed. "After this mission." After having him asking this question over and over again for the last few weeks, I was getting sick and tired of it.

"Good. I just hope you don't screw up our plans while you do so. Especially not on this mission."

I narrowed my eyes. "What makes this mission so important?"

"Nothing at all." before turning away.

I walked back over to Itachi and Kisame, thinking about it.

What the hell made this mission differ from any other?

We stopped along the way to see Deidara and Sasori on their way to the Sand.

"Hey, Itachi."

"Hmm?" he stood next to me.

"Why's this mission important?"

"It's not. It's stupid and I hate to see you look like a slut." The fact that Itachi was not meeting me in the eye meant that I could not trust him on this account, but I decided to act as if I was dropping the subject.

I chuckled. "Protective?"

"You're my sister." he shrugged. "Come on. We have to keep on going."

We traveled for another day before reaching the town.

My feet were aching so we rented two rooms for the night. I got one to myself while the boys had to share. I slept as soon as my head hit the pillow, my black hair flinging out all around me.

There was a knock at the door which woke me up.

"What?" i grumbled, face in the pillow.

"Your dress is here." a girl said nervously.

"Dress?" that perked my interest. I opened the door. "Thanks a lot. What's your name?"

"Cassie." She was young, maybe nine.

"That's a pretty name. My name is Yuuki. Yuuki Uchiha."

"Snow Fan? That's pretty! Uchiha.... Oh! I know where i've heard your name before! You're the ten tails Jinchuuriki. I don't get why people are scared of you though."

"Am I scary?"

"Nope! You're nice! Maybe we'll see each other again!" she smiled sweetly.

I smiled in return. "Thanks for giving me the dress Cassie. Maybe you should get back to your mum before she starts thinking i've eaten you."

She giggled. "Bye bye!" before trotting down the stairs.

"You've always had a way with kids that i'll never understand." itachi leaned on my door. "Take a look at the dress."

"I like kids. Why should i look at the dress? I'm going to wear it tonight." but i opened it anyway. "Holy Shit." i gasped.

It was a shimmering purple gown. "Where am i going? To wear something like this?"

He smiled. "I knew you'd like it. You're wearing it to a party. Formal, of course."

"Wow. Where'd you get it?"

His smile grew. "No telling."

"Shit head." i muttered.

"Try it on."

"No. I'll wear it later."

"How's your mark?"

I rubbed the unusual curse mark on my shoulder. "It's not bugging me. Looks cool though."

"Hn."

Juro chuckled before appearing beside Itachi, surprising him. "You'll look great Miss." for the past year he's been calling me Miss, Lady Uchiha and being very polite. I had just gotten used to it.

"Hello Juro." i greeted with a smile. He had been appearing more and more often lately. "You think so?"

He nodded his wolf head. "Absolutely. How long until she leaves?" the question was directed at Itachi.

"Soon. It's during the day."

"So i won't be wearing it tonight i'll be wearing it today?"

He nodded. "And if you don't get ready in the next half hour, then we won't be able to get in."

I sighed. "I'll go and get changed."

The dress felt like satin against my skin, and was extremely comfortable.

I looked great, and i knew it.

When i came out, Itachi gawked.

"Close your mouth. If only Sapphira could see me now." i missed my old friend. "As soon as i've done this mission, i'm going back." i sighed.

Itachi nodded. "As expected. Come. I'll be your escort."

I wrapped my arm around his. "Fine with me." in my head i was picturing Kakashi escorting me, hand wrapped around my waist.

"He'll be over at the bar." Itachi whispered

"You're not coming in with me?" i hissed back.

"No. I'm wanted remember?"

I nudged him in the ribs. "Alright. Bring him back out here?"

He nodded. "Kisame and i'll wait for you here. Don't take too long."

"Be patient. It shouldn't take too long so don't worry. I'll meet you here soon."

"Good luck."

The doorman looked me up and down before asking "Name?"

"Uchiha. Yuuki."

He nodded gruffly. "Come on in."

I smiled innocently at him and he blushed.

Urgh. Gross.

Everyone looked in my direction as i walked in. I saw the sponsor at the bar, just where Itachi had said. He was staring at me.

"Pervert." Juro muttered in my head.

I chuckled inwardly and strode over to him.

"And your name is?" he smiled at me.

"Yuuki."

"Yuuki what?"

"That's something you can find out." i put in my sexiest voice.

"Are you implying something?"

"Maybe." i winked. "Dance with me, sir?"

He gladly took me to the floor and danced with me.

Hours later, i had finally gotten sick and tired of this guy.

I put my mouth at his neck. "You want to find out my last name?"

"Yes." he whispered.

I gave a false giggle. "You'll have to follow me then. It's too public here." i slowly slid my hand up his arm, pulling my head back and making eye contact with him

He shivered. "I'll go anywhere with you."

I grabbed his hand and tugged it playfully to the door. He laughed and got the message.

We left the party out the front door.

He pulled me around the corner and tried to kiss me.

I teased him by taking my lips out of his reach.

Kisame grabbed the guy by the shoulder wearing his shark smile, making the guy yell in fright.

"Good job Sister." Itachi congratulated.

I nodded in acknowledgment.

"Who are you people?"

"Itachi and Yuuki Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki."

The guy gasped before Kisame slit his throat.

I turned and faced Itachi. "Don't you ever expect me to do that again. I'm going home."

He chuckled. "Farewell then sister."

"Bye Yuuki." Kisame laughed. "I hope the next time we meet, we'll be able to test out skills against each other."

"Me too Kisame. I can't tell you how long i've been waiting to kick your ass."

We laughed.

"Well, i'm going."

Itachi hugged me. "Take care."

"I will. Don't get yourself killed."

With that we parted ways.

I reached the main gate to the Village with a smile on my face.

"I don't believe it!" a voice yelled.

I grinned wider. "Iruka! It's so good to see you!" i hugged My friend.

"It's been a while! What have you been up to? Where'd you go?"

"A bit of everything everywhere. So are They here?"

He smiled. "Sure they are. I just had ramen with Naruto and i'm pretty sure Sakura is with Tsunade. Kakashi's bound to be here somewhere."

"Is he still reading those books?"

He laughed. "Do you really have to ask?"

I smirked. "I knew it! Anyway, i'll go and see Tsunade now."

"Nice hair by the way. It suits you."

"See you later Iruka." i laughed.

I wonder what they all look like now.

I knocked on Tsunades door.

"Come in!" she said.

"Lady Tsunade." i bowed my head.

"And you are?"

"Oh come on. I know i've changed my hair but am i really that different?"

Her eyes went wide. "Yuuki?"

"The one and only. How are you?"

"Exhausted."

"Still not used to the routine of being Hokage?"

She shook her head. "No. Three years. It's good to see you. Sakura should be back any minute now."

"I heard you took her on as your apprentice."

"I did. She's become much stronger. A brilliant shinobi."

"Of that i have no doubt. What about Naruto? How was his training with Jiraya senpai?"

"He came back with amazing results. Sakura and Naruto even got the bells from Kakashi."

"Really?"

She nodded.

"Lady Tsunade?"

"Sakura, come and see who has arrived back."

"Yes Milady. I also brou-.......... Yuuki!"

She had grown into quite a woman, Sakura.

"Wow. Hey." i laughed.

She came and hugged me. "It's so good to see you!"

"I can say the same! Look at you! From what Tsunades told me, you've improved your skills a great deal."

She nodded.

"Well what do you know! Yuuki senpai!"

"Naruto? It's you!" i couldn't believe the teen standing before me now was the runt back then. "You guys have grown."

"Yep!" Naruto grinned.

I sweat dropped. "Though clearly only in stature."

He anime fell. "That's what Sakura said. Give me a break will ya?"

We laughed.

"So where's Kakashi?"

"Goodness knows where. Kakashi sensei's been absent a lot lately." Sakura sighed.

"Probably from that new book." Naruto said.

"Jiraya wrote another of those books?" i groaned.

They all nodded.

"I'm going to go and give him a surprise visit. If you guys go on a mission, tell me."

Naruto nodded and gave a thumbs up.

"Sure." Sakura agreed.

I banged on Kakashi's door before turning my head away from the door.

"Huh?" he asked when he opened it.

I couldn't help but laugh and look at his face. "Hi."

He smiled brightly and kissed me. "Welcome back Yuuki."

I hung my hands around his neck. "Why thank you, kind sir. May i ask for another?"

He smirked. "Nope." he kissed me again with more passion this time. I kissed him back and he lifted me off the ground with me giggling.

"I missed you." I whispered.

"I'm pretty missable aren't i?"

I smacked his arm. "I suppose so. I could just walk past you on the street and not notice."

I laughed at his shocked face. "I guess i should have seen that coming."

"You should have. Has there been any word from Sasuke?"

"No. Sorry."

"I wasn't really expecting him to send word. I hoped he would though."

"Don't mention Sasuke in front of Naruto and Sakura." He cautioned.

"Tabooed?" i guessed.

He nodded. "It's depressing."

"It would be."

He rubbed my shoulders. "There's still hope he'll come back."

"I know. But there's only one person whose got a chance of bringing him back. Naruto."

"And you know how determined he is."

I changed the subject. "Book." i held out my hand.

He choked up. "Really?"

I nodded.

"No!" a voice yelled behind me.

"Hello Jiraya senpai." i groaned.

"Kakashi, i was wondering if i could have that book back for a little while if you've finished it."

Kakashi nodded and tried to hand him the book but i snatched it out of his hands.

"Give me one good reason i shouldn't burn this right now in my hand." i twirled it between my fingers.

"Because you can't make fire from your fingers without doing hand signals?" Jiraya scoffed.

"Because i love you?" Kakashi begged.

I looked into their puppy dog eyes and caved.

I tossed it to Jiraya. "If i get hold of it again....."

"I'll put it away!" he rushed. "You can't make a fire jutsu without any hand signals, can you?"

I made a fireball in my hand. "I don't know. Maybe."

They gulped, realizing how close they had been to loosing their book.

"Men." i scoffed.

"I know right?"

I turned to my left where the familiar voice came from.

"Oh, i don't know. They can be tolerable sometimes."

"Don't bullshit me Uchiha." she laughed

I ran over and hugged Sapphira. "You look great."

"So do you. Dead sexy now. I hardly recognise you." she laughed again.

"Now that's the biggest load of crap i've heard in a long time." i joked.

"Welcome home."

And it truly felt as though i was home.
