I couldn't make out a single sentence that was said until i yelled out "Shut Up!"

After that, it was dead quiet.

"That's better. One at a time. My head is killing me. Now, Sakura, what are you going to do?"

She shook her head. "We have to find a cure. There's a way to slow down the poison, but Miss.Yuuki, it'll be painful."

I nodded. "Do it."

Sapphira stepped forward. "Isn't there another way to slow it down? One that isn't painful?"

Sakura shook her head. "No."

"Sakura." i whispered.

She looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"Do what you have to do, even if it means i get hurt. Understand?"

She blinked. "Of course. Quickly, i need a list of all the herbs that are available. Right away."

They ran to grab the list.

Meanwhile, i was starting to convulse in coughs. Kakashi came to my side and held my hand.

"You're going to be okay."

My coughs died down. "I know that. I'm in good hands."

The list came back and they gave it to Sakura. Straight away she was giving orders.

Within half an hour, she had something in her hands. "This won't actually cure you, but you won't be in any more life threatening danger."

I was barely conscious. "Okay. Great."

"You're going to have to stay still, but we're going to hold you down, just in case."

"Sakura, just hurry up and start." i half whispered.

She gave a nod. "Kakashi Sensei, she'll need you here while i do this."

"Sakura." i warned, fading out.

"Alright. Hold her down."

Hands went down on my body, keeping me in place.

There was a coolness, and then a huge pain in my chest.

I screamed and struggled. Kakashi whispered to me and i calmed down a bit.

"Come on Uchiha. You've pulled through tougher." Sapphira half joked, worried just as much as he was.

I could literally feel the poison being sucked out from my heart, lungs, kidneys and intestines.

By the time Sakura had finished, i was sweating, but no longer feeling like shit, and could sit up.

Kakashi supported my back.

"So now what do we do?" i asked.

"We, nothing. I have to go to the site where Kankuro fought the Akatsuki. If there's any trace of scent, i can find where they went."

"There's no need to go there." Kankuro said. "My puppets were all recovered weren't they?"

"Their outside the door, in the blue sheet." Kakashi told him.

Kankuro went outside for a minute and came back in with one of his puppets hands. When it opened, a piece of cloth dropped out of it.

"Smart Kankuro." i smiled.

"Summoning Jutsu!" Kakashi summoned the ninja hounds.

I smiled when i saw the one i recognised. "Pakkun!" Naruto and i greeted cheerfully.

"Well, long time no see Yuuki, Naruto."

"You look the exact same!" Naruto laughed

"So do you." Pakkun replied.

"No, i've grown a lot, you see?"

"Pakkun," Kakashi interrupted their bicker. "I need you to trace this scent."

All the dogs surrounded the piece of cloth.

"We'll be back soon." Pakkun said.

"Wait, Juro will go with you."

And he went, only complaining that he had to go with a bunch of dogs, while he was a grand wolf.

I pointed out that he was also a demon, so he shut up.

"You should all get a good nights rest." The captain said.

"But we have to go and get Gaara and-" Naruto started.

"We accept. It's going to be a long march tomorrow." Kakashi said.

"Alright." Naruto muttered.

I laid back down as everyone left the room, except for Kakashi of course. Sapphira made sure one more time that i was okay before leaving.

"I told you i was in good hands." i squeezed his hand.

He squeezed mine back. "And you're always right."

"Is that sarcasm i detect?"

"Most likely. When i heard Sakura's verdict, the emotions that ran through my head......... What were you thinking?"

"I was saving someones life." i retorted. "It's what we Ninja do. Besides, his life is worth more than mine. He's done better things than i have Hatake."

"I've known you for years." he said.

"Yes, but i'm talking before we officially met, the day you told me Sasuke was in your team. Before then, i wasn't the same person. Ask Sapphira, she'll tell you. When i think about it now...." i shivered. "I don't ever want to be that person again."

He cupped my chin in his hand. "But it's not who you were that matters to me now. It's who you are. The way i like it."

I pressed my forehead to his and sighed. "I don't deserve someone like you. Just proves my luck."

"No. It proves mine. If Sasuke hadn't become part of my team, then i would have never had met you. Fallen in love."

We chuckled.

He gave me a kiss goodnight and went to bed.

I didn't fall asleep. His mention of Sasuke got me thinking.

I called Juro back and he came faster than i thought he would.

"What's the matter?" he asked.

"I need to ask you something. And for you to answer truthfully."

"Of course Lady Uchiha."

"Do you know where Sasuke is?"

Juro's brilliant gold eyes widened. "Y-yes. Why Milady?"

"I'm going to send a clone with you, and i'm going to check on him. If he sees you, don't do anything. Stay with me. I don't think i can do this by myself."

He bowed.

"Shadow clone Jutsu."

A shadow clone appeared in front of me. She knew the plan, and got on Juros back.

She shared my consciousness with hers so i could see him.

Orochimaru's hideout wasn't far away. Quite close actually.

As Juro and I stopped outside, something moved.

We paused.

"Whose there?" a bored voice said.

"Depends." i answered. Juro dulled his glow and growled.

I hardly had enough time to duck and dodge a sword that was swung at my stomach.

"Now that wasn't polite." i chastised.

I looked up at my attacker.

And froze.

"Who are you?" he asked.

I didn't answer.

"Well?"

I recovered and scoffed. "I'm disappointed. I see that you're fine. I only came to check up on you. Sasuke."

He had changed. He had grown noticeably taller over the three years and more muscular. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, which was open at the torso, with a smaller version of the Uchiha crest on his collar. He was also wearing dark blue pants with a blue cloth hanging from halfway up his stomach to his knees. On that, he wore a purple rope belt around his waist, tied in a bow, in which he carried a sword. With a pleased note, i saw he was wearing the necklace i gave him, years ago, after i had just met Kakashi and given it to him as a late birthday present.

His eyes remained blank. "Who're you?"

I sighed and turned around. "My name? You should know it."

"I don't have any time for games."

"Too bad. You always used to. Especially with Itachi, Sapphira and Naruto."

I looked behind me and saw emotion. Anger. "Who are you and what do you know about me?" he snarled.

Juro growled. "You fool."

I shushed him. "I know almost everything about you............. I know about Itachi, your best friend, your sensei, and how you betrayed your sister after you made a pact."

He froze. "It's you....... Anee-san."

"Now you figure it out? Took your time. So enjoying your time with Orochimaru and Kabuto?" i mocked.

"I've gained power." he answered.

"i can see that, baka. But that wasn't my question. Tell you what. I'll let you ask me one question before i leave."

"Where'd you go? When i left. I came back to see you, you were gone."

I sighed. "I wasn't expecting that question. If i tell you, do you promise not to tell anyone else?"

"Why should i?"

I scoffed. "For old times sake."

He considered it. "Alright."

"I was with the Akatsuki." i told him.

He narrowed his eyes. "What?"

"I was with the Akatsuki. Paired up with Kisame and Itachi. Yes. I was with Itachi. For three years."

"You........ What?"

"Well what did you expect Sasuke!" i roared. "That i would just accept your betrayal and skip off home! I've got a news flash for you! I didn't! Not to mention that i couldn't! I have no home to go to! And I was torn apart! I had been betrayed by BOTH of my brothers that i adored. Both of them ripped my heart open! I knew that i could find you whenever and you know what? At times i really wanted to. I wanted my little brother to be by my side. But at others? I wished i were dead, because i wouldn't have to deal with all of this shit! I went to Itachi because i knew, even after all he did, he'd keep the promise he made to me, to always be there! Something i couldn't say for you!"

He was totally shocked.

I felt tears running down my cheeks. "I've got to go. I can't deal with seeing your face anymore."

"Wait! Yuuki!" Otouto yelled out, just as my clone and Juro dispersed and came back to my real body.

After a minute, i started crying.

My little brother,

Was okay.

Thank god.

Now how to deal with the Akatsuki.
