Yuri's POV

I breathed in and out, deeply, as I started to stretch. Bending down, I touched my toes and let my body relax. I was nervous about this dance, because I am skating with Victor.

Victor came out with his costume on and my eyes widened as I saw him. I couldn't help but stare at him, and my cheeks heated up.

He wore all black, his pants hugged his muscular legs and behind. His black, long sleeved, top was tight and showed off his curvy sides.

The outfit was littered with rhinestones. The gems glittered in the light and brought out Victors eyes. The gems covered his shoulders and trickled down his arms. They started at his hips and scattered up and down.

A laced design made up most of his top. Stopping at his waist line. The intricate design was defiantly his style, and a gold band was around his waist.

His skates glistened as he walked to me. "It's almost time, little piggy." He winked at me, and I nodded.

I wore an ombré colored costume. It was navy, to sky blue. It had dark blue rhinestones in a scattered line across my chest. My hair was slicked back as usual.

Victor and I stretched each other out until I heard our names being called. "Yuri, look at me." Victor asked.

I looked at him and he gently grabbed my face. "No matter what happens out there, I'll be by your side." He said to me. I nodded and quickly hugged him.

"I'm glad." I simply said. We strode out onto the rink as everyone cheered loudly. Victor and I waved to the crowd and took out positions.

We were on opposite sides of the rink and everyone quieted down as the song began to play.

We slowly looked up at each other and I reached my arms out to him. Slowly skating to him, my eyes were teary.

This was going to be a dramatic skate, and if we got this right? We would be going to nationals.

Our fingers touched each other and then we pulled away. Putting out our legs as we skated down the sides. Tapping my heels, I spun in the air.

A combination spin was done as we landed together. I skated backwards and Victor captured me in his arms.

My expression was sad and so was Victors. He tilted my chin up so I could look at him, but I dramatically looked away. I skated away from him as he chased me.

Elegantly, I did a spin, followed by 2 other spins in the air. Landing them both, Victor did 3 spins in the air and I slowed down.

Victor grabbed my hand as the piano part was soft and quiet. I held his hand as we skated around the rink.

I followed him and we both started to spin in place. I grabbed my leg and spin in a circle. Sweat adorned my features as the costumes glinted in the light.

I went down to the ground as I spun, and got back up. People clapped and cheered as Victor took my hand.

He slowly pulled me against him and our duet began. I put my leg out as Victor started to skate. He held my hands and we danced around the rink.

I kept my smile in as he turned me to him. I skated backwards as he went forwards. I looked into his eyes as he laced our hands together

He twirled me and the wind blew in my face. Our hands released and I started to skate away from the handsome man. A sad look once more.

Victor followed and gently made me look at him. I let a tear slip out, it was fake, but everyone gasped. People leaned in their seats to see what would happen.

Victor gently wiped it away, and the final note played as he dipped me down. Our lips touched, and I could feel my body tingle. I felt like I could levitate off the ground.

The dance finished as Victor pulled me up. I got up and the crowd went wild. Flowers and small bears were thrown onto the rink as I was lead off by Victor.

His arm was secured around my waist and I tackled him down. Hugging him tightly as we fell onto the ground. "It was amazing." Victor cooed to me. "You were beautiful out there."

We went to check our scores and we arrived in first place. I burst out into tears and ran over to my teacher. "VICTOR!!!" I belted.

"Yuri!" We collided again and the whole arena stood on their feet. People clapped and cheered as our lips touched once more. It was small, but just enough.

Cameras flashed as I held up the reward, for this round. Victor was right, he is always by my side.

And now, it's time for nationals!
