((Since I've been watching way too much sao lately...))

She sat at the foot of your hospital bed, your hair was long and ragged. You were so thin she could see your bones.
"Please... Stay alive..." She said quietly, a small tear running down the Japanese-woman's cheek.

You two had been so excited... You had both pitched in to buy the nerve gear and the game.
(Name) had been in the beta test. You two had decided to take turns with the game, after a coin toss, (Name) had won...

They were both avid gamers, the two of them loves to play online games, and that's how they met, and this was how it would end...

Her quiet sobs filled the room like a soft breeze rustling the leaves, her eyes shown dark circles under them; ever since the incident, she had found it hard to sleep. Every time she closed her eyes, she could see (Name)'s health bar reach to zero, and then...
She didn't want to think about it.

Time dragged on endlessly as she sat there. Sudden regrets filling her mind. You'd think that after two years, she would've given up... That she would've moved on, accepted her friend, and crush's death... But, she couldn't.
All of this, was her fault. If she had only won the coin toss, then she would've been stuck in that recid world, and not (Name).
But there was nothing she could do now...
"I'm sorry (Name)... Please, live." She said quietly, her voice cracking in the middle of the sentence. Another small sob wracked her body.
"Live... You can do it..."

(Name) slashed the stomach of the boss. One more boss, after this, I can go home! I'm almost there!!! Excitement filled her. Ever since she had joined her guild, the "Silver cross" ad they called themselves, things had been going smoothly.
They were finally here, on the 99th floor.

The boss roared, and swung its axe, nearly hitting her. The (h/c) haired girl dodged out of the way just in time.
"Switch out!!!" Her friend cried, she nodded. Flipping back and allowing her friend to take control.
We'll get to go home.... Finally, this will all be over! And when I get back, I'm going to tell her! She decided, determination coursing through every vein.
"Hey watch out!" Eliza, a girl in your group called out.
The boss screeched, glowing white.
"Y-you're kidding me!!!" You cried out, shielding your face as a blinding white light surrounded you, you were knocked back off the edge of the boss stadium.
"(Name)!!!"

Y-you've got to be kidding me... You thought, falling to your death.
A single tear fell down your cheek.
I failed...

Sakura suddenly awoke from a small doze to hear the heat monitor going into a wild spazz.
"N-no... This can't be happening!!!" She yelled, staring at you.
A soft smile formed on your face, four words came out of your mouth, eight syllables.
Sakura couldn't see what you were trying to say, before the heart monitor went blank, a beeping sound that only meant one thing, you had lost....
"N-no...."
"NO!" She screamed. All the regrets from before came flooding back.
She'd never get to hug you...
She'd never get to kiss you...
Because she'd pushed you away all those times...
She'd never get to see you...
She'd never even get to talk to you...

"Please!!! Don't let this be real!!!" She cried out, dropping onto her knees. "This can't be real..." She tried to reassure herself, staring at you.

"S-she's dead... She's really dead..." She told herself again and again, tears flowing out of her eyes like a hurricane.

Wake up... Please...

A ghostly figure appeared in front of her dead body, (Name) (L/n) looked around to find her friend, a look of bitter shock on her face.
"I love you Sakura..." She said, as she mouthed it right before her, before slipping into a sweet death.
"I'm sorry I couldn't stay alive..." Tears slipped from the spirit's cheeks, before thousands of dead players formed around her, all bowing their heads in respect.

"Please keep living on..."
