You sighed, your friend Patty had invited you over for a playdate, but you would honestly rather be on your game...
I mean COMMON! You were trying to finish a public works project! And SOMEONE had to pay off your 98,000 bell morgage!

Patty pouted, clearly bored as hell.
She didn't get what was so appealing about the game, just that you were obsessed with it.

"Why don't you play with me?"
"Because I'm playing my game." You answered simply, catching a fish in your game.

"You never want to play anymore! All you do is play that stupid game! I bet you we can do 10x funner stuff then that!"
"That's not even a word!"
"Yes it is!"
"No it's not!"
"Yes it is!"
Your voices kept getting louder and louder until Alice opened the door loudly.
"Can the both of you please show a little respect and be quiet! I'm trying to study, why don't you two go play outside?" She suggested, trying to keep her calm.

Patty cheered while you groaned.

"Let's play knights!" Patty suggested, "no thanks." You answered blandly, staring up at the sky, bored out of your mind.
"How about battleship?"
"No."
"Fútball?"
"No thanks."
"We could swim in the pool!"
"Too cold... And I didn't bring a swimsuit."
"We could... Play house!"
"No."

She glared at you, "well what should we do then??!!"
"I don't know..." You said.
She frowned, sitting on the grass next to you.

"You know, sometimes I wonder if all you care about is that stupid game... Why can't we be close like we used to?"
You shrugged.

"Well I'm not going to let this day go to waste!" She declared excitedly, jumping up off the grass.
"Ok, you go do that." You said yawning.

Suddenly, she got a good idea...
"Hey (name)!"
"Mhm..."
"Let's play that game thingy you were playing"
"You mean Animal crossing? But my DS is inside..."
"Who cares??! It's called pretend dummy!"
"Nah."

"You can't say your bored if you haven't tried to do something!!!"
"Ugh, fine..." You said. "But how do we play it?"

-Alice's POV.-

I sighed blissfully as I took a sip of my tea, I had finally finished studying and now it was starting to get dark out. It's getting pretty dark.... I thought to myself, looking out at the sky.
Why haven't the girls come in yet? I walked downstairs and out onto the porch to see them playing in the backyard. Patricia appeared to be a salesperson that (name) was buying things from.

What're they doing? I wondered. "Girls!" I called out to them. "It's time to come in, (Name)'s mom will be here in a few minutes!" I told them, both of them groaned loudly.

"Awe, already!?" They said in unison.
"Yes already." I replied chuckling softly.

Well, at least it seems they resolved their argument...

I've been obsessed with animal crossing New Leaf and that's why I haven't been updating or going online very much...

Oh also, I'm going to start doing contests, so at the end of each chap there'll be a little catchphrase from a female character, or youtuber. And you have to guess which character/youtuber the phrase comes from.
This will be the only one that's not female.
I just really fuckin' love this youtuber.
