- well I was bored af and had nothing to do in the summer  cause I was broke so I was on YouTube.

I was listening to a song and then a noticed a thumbnail

Clicked it because the character looked like shin'ichi from parasyte ( an anime I had just finished )

I wasn't really interested in it so I forgot about it. ( I hate myself smh )

Then Remembered when I saw the opening on YouTube later in October. Week later watched it when ep. 3 came out. Boom! now I'm addicted to it like crack.

What do I like the most about this fandom?

I think what I like most about this fandom is how far  we've come.

At first it was everyone thinking it was going to be a Fujoshi bait anime and made jokes about it, but look at  us now!  We have a gay cannon couple in sports anime for the first time ever!!!!( I believe )

I also like that when  someone says something like:

"I ain't watching that crap, it's a yaoi anime"

everyone in the fandom is defending the show in a respectful way and telling people it's about a healthy gay relationship and it leans towards shounen ai.

The show isn't just centered on that but on the couple and their competitors' careers as figure skaters!💐💐🔱🔱🌈🌈

Another thing I like about this fandom is the worldwide fanbase. Not only has it grown on us normal people but competitive skaters are fans of the show too!👍👍👍🎿🎿

It makes me happy to see lots of people into this show cause I don't have anyone to talk about it here and interacting with fans is the best! 💖💜💛💚💘

Do I have any sports anime suggestions?

I've only every watched one other sports anime besides Yuri!!! On ice ( it was fujoshi bait in some parts! ) and I didn't like it for various reasons

But I heard kuroko no basuke was pretty good, so I would give it a go if I was looking for some sports action 🎽🏀🏀
