Case 18 - Not the end

Victoria ran to the deck .. Thank god she prepared a private Yatch just in case .

But as she reached the Yatch she saw the sail of the yatch destroyed and a girl who looked similar to Yuri waiting for her there .

" Surrender you thief ! " Yoona shouted .

Victoria was about to take out her pistol when suddenly smoke screened the air and she got dragged away .

When Victoria regained conscious she was in a familiar black carriage .

" You failed me . " The professor's voice sent shivers down her spine .

Victoria immediately sat up straight and bowed down .

" I ..I'm sorry .. " Victoria said trembling .

" I told you about Yuri Holmes . You must have left foolish trace . ' The professor said calmly .

Victoria couldn't answer but kept shivering .

The professor took Victoria's hand and started to caress it .

" My darling .. I love your smooth hands so much that I'm giving you a second chance .. But if you should fail me again .. You know that I would be happy to try on you the chemicals I have in my lab . " The Professor said and started kissing Victoria's hand .

Victoria was scared . So scared that she thought she was facing the devil .

The professor pulled Victoria to herself as she whispered ,

" It' s not the end , Yuri Holmes . "

Case 19 Emotions

Jessica was sitting in the living room , and she was uncomfortable when she has the house to herself , with no Yuri .

The Yuri who would be making strange experiments in her rooms , the Yuri who's having morning tea with her , the Yuri who would make the perfect steak for dinner everyday .

Jessica began to cry .

Yuri was in hospital because of her foolishness .

When Jessica examined the Duke's body and retrieved the Sapphire which was hidden in the Duke's stomach , she also noticed a gap between the shelves in the room . It was the passage to the secret tunnel .

And wanting to help Yuri get the criminal she went in it .

Then Yuri .. Yuri protected her .

And why would she ? Why would Yuri protect her arrogant , insensitive , demanding roommate who despise her ?

Jessica stood up and went to her room , and saw a box on her bed .

She wiped away her tears and unwrapped the parcel .

Jessica was astonished .

" Thank you for listening to me that night and I promise not to play awful music at night again . Yuri .H " was written on a note placed above the piece of dress , the dress that Jessica once mentioned she would want to have during the morning newspaper reading .

And she began to cry again as she took the dress out of the box .

" You weird fool .. If I wear such pretty dresses you must be there to praise me .. " Jessica said to herself .

Case 20 - Till we meet again

Yuri sat on the hospital bed and looked out of the room's window .

Her hand gently touched her wound and she gave a bitter smile .

All her memories with Jessica was ever so vivid .

The first time she saw Jessica , when she opened the door and saw the beautiful lady in the French dress , she thought that the room sharing wouldn't work . Jessica would leave like all those before her , despising her weird character and lifestyle .

But Jessica didn't . Instead she stayed and became part of Yuri's case solving .

She became someone whom she would risk her own life to save .

Jessica stood outside Yuri's room and looked at Yuri secretly .

There was something that Yuri evoked in her . But Jessica made a resolution to herself .

It would all be too difficult , to be in love with a reckless detective who would always be in dangerous position , whom she would always be worried about .

She took in a deep breathe sadly and passed a lunchbox and a note to the nurse .
The nurse placed the lunchbox and note on the table .

Yuri read the note .

" I'm sorry to have cause you this injury . I hope you get better soon . When you're back to the apartment you will not find me anymore . I've moved out . Sica .w "

Yuri stared at the note for a good 5 minutes .

Jessica left afterall .

Yuri folded the note nicely and opened the lunchbox .

It was beef stew .

" Jessica Watson . Why do you make me feel like this .. I guess it's a mystery ..till we meet again . " Yuri said to herself .

And she finished the beef stew , which tasted horrible .
