He was about to leave when something, more like someone caught his eye, their pale naked body making his breath hitched, disbelief morphed into his face looking at the scene he was witnessing.

It was Murong li and he was walking towards the palace with nothing but his long hair covering his intimates.

"This can't be happening"

He rushed to the king's room and grabbed tje nearest robe he could find, he then dashed down the stairs to meet Murong li halfway.

Murong li kept his head high, his eyes showing no fear, his body was wrapped by a pink robe and cape.

"Your highness..."

"Is everything alright here?" He asks. Qing Jing frowned, even in such cases the king still keeps his focus on his sect, he wants him to atleast show emotion.

"Everything is alright here, king Liu Wei came and left some minutes ago"

Murong li nodded, he found himself at the entrance of his room.

"I figured you may want to bath after...." Qing Jing didn't dare to finish his statement.

"It's alright, thanks for your help and consideration"

"Chop their fingers off!" He yelled, the old men dropped to their knees in panic begging for his mercy.

"Your majesty please have mercy, we really don't know"

Just then two soldiers came inside and bowed.

"My prince king Murong li has been found....but"

"Wang lei wait....you two, what do you mean with that but at the end?"

"He was seen walking to Yaoguang naked"

A collective of gasps filled the room, Zhi Ming was stunned to silence. The image of Murong li's naked body for everyone to see made him feel uneasy.

"You're telling me....he walked all the way from Wu Yue to Yaoguang....naked?" He asked clearly, the soldier nodded his head.

"Yes your highness...it's quite a journey by foot, Murong li is very headstrong"

Zhi Ming didn't reply him, his feelings were conflicted, why didn't Murong li come to Yang Wu since his sect is the nearest...could it be that Murong li was embarrassed?

"Wei young has gone too far, Wang lei how is our army's condition?"

"We now have 80 000 men"

Zhi Ming sighed in defeat, with a strong sect like Wu Yue, his army will be wipef out in just minutes.

"Pass my order, all male and females between the age of 20-30 will join the army"

The councilmen stood to their feet.

"Your highness, does that mean we're free?"

"Yes, apologies for the misunderstanding"

Zhi Ming sighed, he was mentally exhausted.

"It seems Wei young will always target Ah li...it's clear what i should do now"

Wei young and her new husband laughed as they shared a toast. At first, Wei young was hesitant to marry the older man but now seeing that they share a common goal, she now knows what to do.

"What are you thinking about?" Feng Qiao asks. Wei young smiled.

"Just thinking about the demon's face as he walked away to his lousy sect" she said. Feng Qiao smiled.

"It was very amusing, so tell me, what do you hate about Murong li the most?"

"Well for starters he made my first love fall for his trap now who knows what they do behind closed doors"

"Ah, i think i know"

Wei young looked at him.

"So you and Murong Chon, were in a relationship? Were you....intimate?"

"Why? Are you jealous of a dead man? No need, and to answer your question, yes we were intimate, I'd have him squirm underneath my body every night"

"But you said he tried to seduce you"

Feng Qiao smiled.

"Silly girl, you really thought the story was real?"

Wei young was confused, just then the screams of people filled the air, she looked outside and could see smoke.

"That demon, I'm going to finish him once and for all" she turned around and was face to face with her own sword.

"Wei young wei young, so full of pride to notice the things going on around her" Feng Qiao says with fake pity in his words.

"Who are you exactly?"

"Let's just say, Murong li sent me to finish this once and for all" he chuckled.

FLASHBACK

Murong li was inside the Yaoguang secret chambers, the room was full of ancient scrolls of music scores and antique paintings.

He smiled as he placed his father's sword on the wooden stand, the blade was now sealed inside its sheath.

"How did you know how to reach me?" Feng Qiao asks, Murong li smiles.

"I found my father's letter to you, i thought you might want to read his last message to you"

Feng Qiao smiled.

"I feel a proposition coming"

"Indeed, i need you to do something for me, there's a certain sect leader who acts like a thorn on my shoe, i want you to bring her down a peg or two"

Feng Qiao laughed, it seems the young man had inherited his father's mind.

"I'll do as you told me"

Murong li was about to reply when a maid knocked on the door.

"Your majesty, prince Zhi Ming is here"

END OF FLASHBACK

Wei young chuckled, it seems she had fell inside a trap.

"Your king is indeed calculating....but why did he decide to hand himself over to me?"

"That's part of the plan, you see once word gets out that you sent another royal away naked, all other sects will not want to work with you, you're all alone now Wei young and what do you think your people will react to that, their businesses will suffer because of you"

"What? Why is Murong li making this a whole issue, this is just between him and i"

"What about the men who died during your wars? What about the capital city of Wu Yue?"

Wei young was lost for words, her world was crashing down.

"This is all my fault, how can i fix this?"

"Leave Murong li alone, otherwise he might send someone to kill you...trust me on that one"

Qing Jing was stunned, after hearing that this was all part of a plan to stop Wei young made his body shiver.

"But people died, what about them?"

"This is war Qing Jing, and those people were not from Yaoguang, they were from The capital of Wu Yue, i know you may not like my approach but trust me, it had to be done"

He nodded, it seems the royal matters should be left to the royals.

"What if she retaliates?"

"She won't, I've tightened the leash around her neck, her councilmen would never let her off so easily this time and if shhe does come back, I'll kill her"

"I have gathered you together to make an announcement"

The councilmen felt nervous all over again.

"My Prince, tomorrow is your coronation cant we wait until tomorrow?"

"No this can't wait, my announcement goes like this, Tomorrow morning Yaoguang and Yang Wu will become allies in business and in reinforcements,  i will discuss with the king of Yaoguang to decide on our new name"

"This is unacceptable, two sects becoming as one? Zhi Ming, are you and Murong li married?"

"Well not yet"

They gasped,

"If you think this is the right thing to do then we won't stop you however know this, we do not support the matter"

Murong li smiled looking at the robe he was going to wear at Zhi Ming's coronation ceremony.

"I can't wait to see you again but...why do i feel embarrassed to meet you?"

In the early morning, Zhi Ming had already woken up, his black robe and cape was neatly placed on his bed, he tied his hair using a gold pin and put on his robes.

He opened the doors and could see the white roses decorated around the palace.

"Your highness you're up early today" Wang lei says walking up to him.

"Yes, i wanted to see if everything was in order"

"They know what they're doing, we can walk around to pass the time"

"Very well"

As they walked around, Zhi Ming smiled looking at the hard work his subordinates were doing.

"Do you think Ah li will like the decorations? His coronation was really beautiful, just like him"

Wang lei sighed.

"This is your day, try to focus on you for once"

"Okay okay, let's go shoot some arrows"

"After you"

The arrows were stacked on top of the desk at the gardens, Zhi Ming put on a black blindfold on his eyes and pulled back the arrow on his bow.

"Your highness, King Murong li is here"
