Blood.

Jungkook is entirely coated in blood and dirt.

Not only because of how he had to put up a fight with a few thugs and got into a car accident when a vehicle slammed onto him, but adding onto the fact that he had to limp all the way back to his headquarters since his phone was smashed in the accident.

Not even when he entered the doors of his home did the guards recognize him at first, but after the heaving mean screamed out Yoongi's name in his distress, the guards caught their boss before he could even collapse to the ground out of exhaustion.

Immediately he was taken in the medical room, to which Yoongi appeared moments later to nearly scream to Jungkook's state as their medic -Lucas- took care of his wounds and twisted ankle.

A mess.

Jungkook is a complete mess.

Yet he didn't flinch when Lucas patted the cotton ball of alcohol to his skin or when they had to remove his shoes to inspect his twisted ankle. No, he didn't feel anything anymore.

Numb, he just felt numb.

He should've known Jimin was up to something from the start. He agreed easily, not asking for much in return and it was for this exact reason; He wanted Jungkook's life.

That was his pay.

And Jungkook ended up being the idiot who didn't listen.

Especially listen to Yoongi.

He shouldn't have expected anything different though. Jimin did make his mark on his neck, already a sign of property but with a countdown.

All waiting for this plan to unfold to kill him.

"Jungkook! What the fuck happened to you? Where's Jimin-"

"You were right Yoongi," Jungkook says monotonously, making Lucas stop wrapping up his foot and Yoongi to stare at him in confusion, "It was too risky to ask for Jimin's assistance.... Since he's the same one who stabbed me in the back."

Yeah, too risky.

And there's no doubt that Jimin won't go to extremely lengths to get what he wants.

If Jeongguk couldn't even get to Cupid alone, or even protect himself, how would he do that with Jimin?

Jimin fucking killed Hoseok right before his eyes! Just as quick without even giving him a chance to even defend himself.

That just shows who Jimin is; He cuts to the chase.

And doesn't like wasting time.

There has to be some way that Jeongguk can be a step ahead..... Something anything! Just so Jimin can know Jeongguk is not one to mess with.

Ever.

Yoongi looks at Jeongguk's conflicting gaze with a frown, sitting on the bed beside him with a hand running through his raven hair.

"Okay none of that matters now. What matters is your safety," Yoongi says, watching as Lucas gets to wiping the blood cut from Jeongguk's cheek, "You know Jimin better than I do. What do you think you should do?"

Well fuck, Jeongguk doesn't know! Jimin has kept his life private, there's nothing he tells or informs so easily because he knew this would end up being the results.

Anxiously Jeongguk grips his hair and closes his eyes, thinking back to anything Jimin has said or done.

And just like that, it was as if a light bulb lit up in Jeongguk's mind.

Maybe Jimin has been wise keeping his life private..... But he sure displays aspects of his life.....

Without him realizing it.

Jeongguk doesn't want to just give off a warning and hope for the best. He wants to make Jimin completely defenseless because he knows for a fact that Jimin won't be knocked over so easily from his agenda, so he needs to realize that with Jeongguk and his empire won't be taken down easily with his manipulative tricks.

Especially Jeongguk.

So a twitching sinister smirk displays Jeongguk's lips, snapping his eyes to a very cautious Yoongi.

"Have you ever been to the circus? Better yet, burned anyone alive?"
