With the conversation slowly calming down we had finally settled into the dining table and began dishing up the rice and curry. Convention began to flow and me and shikamaru just started talking to eachother. About school, what it was like to live with a guy like pa, he was shocked to find out I had an older brother... he filled me in on why there are so many Deer by the compound and even told a but about his favorite pass time shogi.

It was in that moment I realized just how much we DONT talk directly to each other. Choji usually initiated conversation and nether me or Shika are very talkative in our own rights. So this was really our first full conversation. I mean whenever choji took off to get more chips it was never really awkward between us. We where simply content to lay back and letting the sun hit your face only acationaly pointing out a few interesting looking clouds.

I was about to make a comment about how the game of shogi was played and the different kind of defensive formations. Which by the way he was doing really well at explaining in a way I understand with relations to real life situations or ninja battles. When his mother seemed at remembering somthing.

She hit her son playfully and gently glared at her husband "by the way I almost forgot to scaled the two of you" the boys looked up confused.

"What we do"

"You fail to mention shikamarus new friend was a girl" she laughed and both boys groaned

I tilted my head in confusion " am I missing somthing?"

Let's just say dinner passed by fairly quickly after that. After Mrs Nara got over the fact that I'm related to Konohas lead interigator. And that her son had made a friend with somone of the oposite sex.

She has officially desided that she would be my new "female example" and that if I ever needed anything to come straight to her.

" I've always wanted a daughter" was all it really came down too came down too.

And so now I was on my way to the hokages office to let Pa know I survived the Naras and then dragged him home sence he should be getting off hokage duty in the next hour or so. Plus the hokage wanted an update on how I'm adjusting to the village.

I have a feeling that's because iruka-sensei told him about how Naruto reacts to me. Being the center of his pranks at all.

After walking up the almost never ending stairs. (Seriously how does the old man get up here) I came to his office and nocked on the door. "Come in"

I skipped inside. "Hi lord hokage, hey Pa I'm back" at my entrance the old man smiled and gave me a nod. And pa stepped out of the corner and began using my head as an armrest.

"Hey squirt how was dinner?"

" It was alright, though I don't think Shikamarus mom likes you very much."I shrugged "and I got to pet a deer"

Pa nodded explaining how 'i always got that feeling from Yoshino' However my deer comment earned a raised eyebrow from the Hokage who was likely the only one in the room who understood the significance of that statment.

"Ya soo if you get a strongly worded letter from the Nara Matriarch I had nothing to do with it" he looked at me
"Ya sure you didn't "

"It's true I swear." I held my hands up in defense "I honestly tryed to talk her out of it but she wouldn't have it." I shrugged " By the way she has officially claimed herself my new 'role model,'"

He raised an eyebrow "seriously? "

I nodded "seriously" than I turned to address lord hokage "i have a serious question for you because I need a unbiased opinion "

"And what would that be " the old man said in between puffs of smoke, Obviously amused.

"Do you think my hair choppy?" He just stared at me " Pa says it's cute and I've never had a problem with it but Mrs. Nara said it was uneven and choppy"

My father sighed "man its already started" he held his face in his hands "I thought I had a couple more years before things got this complicated" and as an after thought he added "Darn Yoshino this is all your fault I just know it"

Ignoring this statment the hokage smiled "I think you look just fine Yuko"

"Well ok I guess that's two agenst one so I'm good" I shrugged hearing Pa's defeated sigh.

"So how has your stay here in the leaf been Yuko?" The hokage changed the subject. Most likely to the joy of his head Interigator.

"Well its definitely better than living in Kiri. Though im still adjusting to the whole, no stealing rule that's for sure " I shook my head a bit shaking all my orphanage memory's out of my thoughts "But school Been a bit difficult, I'm still trying to catch up with all the history and chakra theory everyone else has been working on sence last year." I took a breath though it's much easier with shika and Choji here to help, they do there best to help.keep me filled on on things I don't understand" for wich I had to admit I was great ful but refused to say it out loud just yet "I also have this deal with sasuke, I call him pretty boy because how the heck does he get his hair like that, and got too chew out a few of his fangirls..."

however before I could finish my rant about life the door slammed open. Five ninja in plane white anbu masks entered and took there places around the room. behind them came a man about the hokages age with a arm in a sling like contraption and bandages covering half his face including one of his eyes.

Lord hokage sat up strate in his desk pushing aside his papor work "Danzo to what do I owe this pleasure?"

"We have much to descuss Hiruzen " at this moment the only thing going through my mind was
