In a village of Musashi, there was a terror named Yuki Onna (Snow woman). in the day time, she used to go  everyone's home and asks for water. When someone gives her cold water then she used to freeze them. And when someone gives her warm water then she used to meltdown herself. But in the night time she used to kill the people by sucking their blood in wood. She had the power to manipulate the men by her beauty which makes it easy for her to get the prey. At that village, there were two woodcutters living there; Mosaku and Minokichi. I'm talking about that time when Mosaku was an old man and Minokichi was his partner, who was eighteen years old. Every day they used to go together to a forest situated about five miles from their village. On the way to that forest, there was a wide river to cross; and there was a boat. Several times a bridge was built over the river but every time it was being carried away by the flood. The currents of the flood were so high and Powerful that, no common bridge can tolerate it's force. Mosaku and Minokichi were on their way to home. One very cold evening, when a great snowstorm occurred . So suddenly, the woodcutters saw a shelter,—thinking themselves lucky to find any shelter at all. There was no brazier in the hut, nor any place in which to make a fire: it was only a one room hut, with a single door, but no window. Mosaku and Minokichi closed the door, and lay down to rest, with their straw rain-coats over them. At first they did not feel very cold; and they thought that the storm would soon be over.The old man almost immediately fell asleep; but the boy, Minokichi, lay awake a long time, listening to the awful wind, and the continual slashing of the snow against the door. The river was roaring; and it was like a an earthquake occurred. It was a terrible storm; and the air was every moment becoming colder; and Minokichi shivered with cold under his rain-coat. But at last, because of the cold, he too fell asleep.
