Anya had decided to go out to meet up with Dona, making sure she was okay after being at gun point. After getting up, she hurried over into town and parked her motorcycle in from of Metor Mall. Anya threw her helmet down onto her motorcycle and began to walk inside. After entering, Anya looked around at the many crowds of people, going in and out of stores freely. Anya took her phone out to see a text from Dona. It read: Anya, whenever you get here, I'll be waiting in Kollo Koffee's. See you soon.
Anya looked up and began wandering, trying to find a map of sorts, after about five minutes, Anya found a digital screen which showed her that Kollo Koffee's was on the second floor, next to a card shop. Anya shrugged a bit and made her way up. She entered the shop to find Dona sitting at a booth, sipping on a Frappuccino. Anya began walking over and when Dona finally noticed, she began calling out.

"Hey Anya, I ordered you a latte," Dona told Anya as she began to sit down.
"So, how are you?" Anya asked cautiously.
"I think I'm fine but I'm still a bit jittery. I mean, being held at gunpoint isn't a normal thing," Dona answer as her hands shook while trying to drink her coffee.
"Well, good thing that man showed up to save you," Anya told her, reaching out to hold her hand, as a way of comforting her. She could feel her shaking.
"Yeah," Dona said, retracting her hand," You seemed so calm holding that gun, I guess I wish I could be more calm like you."
"What, I was so scared!?" Anya exclaimed, admitting her feeling to Dona.
"Hey, at least we were scared together," Dona said a bit happier, trying to sound cheerful.
"Yeah! So what should we do while we're here?" Anya asked Dona.
"Actually, there's a card shop next door and I kinda wanna get into Duel Monsters, like you and that masked fellow," Dona said to Anya, sipping her coffee. Anya's frappe came seconds later and Anya tasted it. It was caramel, her favorite.
"Dona, you know me so well!" Anya exclaimed after putting down her cup.
"So, will you teach me to play?" Dona asked. Anya thought to herself. She was getting more and more into the game the more she played. She couldn't let her mother catch her. But Dona was a close friend.
"Sure, I'll teach ya the ropes," Anya told Dona, not wanting to disappoint her. Dona was a sweet woman and somebody Anya liked being around so she obliged. They both grabbed their coffee and left to head into the card shop. Anya looked up at the window and read the name. The card shop was called Daemon's Dueling and there was a tournament being held in a few days here.
"Huh, a Tag Tournament?" Donna spoke up," We should enter!"
"Well, we do have work off for a while so why not," Anya gave in. Her mother would want to know where she was going so Anya began thinking of an accuse.
"Anyways, you'll need a Deck first so you should look for a starter deck that interests you," Anya told Dona. She nodded and began looking around. Anya scanned the shop and thought it was impressive, several people were seated, dueling on the Holotables, which acted like a miniature dueling area. The tiny holograms fought and looked cute and chibi. Anya decided to walk around a bit and look at the various sets on the shelves lining the walls. She decide to pick up a few boosters which had a chance of pulling Shining Chariot: The Magician of Entertainment. It's was a Fusion Monster so it would be good asset to Anya's deck which lacked anything in the extra deck. She grabbed 5 packs and walked over to the counter.
"Excuse me sir," Anya said as the cashier turned around to face Anya.
"How much will this cost?" Anya asked the tall man.
"Here let me ring it up first. It's about $7.89 for 5 packs," man said, giving Anya the boosters. Anya handed the man the money and went to sit at an open table and wait for Dona. Anya tore open the packs to look at the cards she got. She scanned them quickly, disappointed that Chariot was no where to be found. She did pull a Fusion Monster though that would work in her deck. She pulled out her deck and put in a Polymerization and the Fusion Monster. She set her cards onto the specified spots on the Holotable. Anya took another sip of her frappe. Then a kid sat down across from her.
"Hey, do you wanna play lady?" the small boy asked. He looked about ten with brown hair and wore a yellow tee shirt with a smily face on it and jean shorts.
"Sure," Anya replied humoring him.
"Okay! Let's duel!" the little boy shouted.
"Okay, lets duel," Anya spoke softly, chuckling.

"So, what's your name?" Anya said in a sweet tone.
"My name is Caleb and I'm warning you, I'm pretty good!" Caleb said confidently.
"Okay, you can go first then," Anya told him.
"Okay!" Caleb shouted finally looking at his hand. He frowned," Aww, this hand's bad!"
"It's okay, I'll let you redraw," Anya said trying to be nice to the boy.
"Okay, now I'll start!" Caleb shouted now having his hand set.
"Actually, do you mind if I have my friend duel you? I was supposed to teach her how to play. It would be a big help," Anya asked, quickly thinking of a way to do both things. Anya then left yo get Dona over. They came back to the table in about a few minutes.
"So this is the kid I'm gonna play?" Dona asked Anya.
"Yeah," Anya replied before directing her attention to Caleb," Try to go easy on her for the first few turns."
"Ok but I'll rev it up afterwards and win!" Caleb shouted super enthusiastically. Anya gave her hand to Dona, who was now playing with Anya's deck.
"Okay then kid! Let's duel!" Dona shouted trying to match Caleb's enthusiasm.
"Your on! Let's duel!"

"Now to start off Dona, you can only do so many things on your turn," Anya began informing," Start by playing a monster which is level four or below." Anya pointed to the stars on one of the cards for Dona to understand.
"Ok, I summon Silent Magician!" Dona called out as the white and blue magician appeared as small hologram on the table.

"Now you can also use spells and set traps. Remember though, traps can't be used the turn they are set," Anya explained.
"I'll set a card and activate Wander Wand," Dona said playing her cards down. A little Wand appeared in front of the Silent Magician as he picked it up.
"Okay, that's an equip spell, it is attached to a monster and stays on the field until the monster's destroyed," Anya informed Dona as she nodded.
"I end my turn," Dona stated.

"Okay then, I draw!" Caleb said drawing his card.
"Wow did you see that, she has the Silent Magician!" someone said around them.
"Yeah, and Caleb is dueling them so they must be good!" somebody else said. Anya took a look around and saw a crowd of people murmuring and gathering around their table.
"I'm sorry about this," Caleb said our of the blue.
"Sorry for what?" Dona said.
"Well theirs a crowd so I have to give them a show, this is your last turn," Caleb said cheerfully and confidently.
"Hey, come on! It's her first time playing the game!" Anya spoke up with a violent tone.
"Well then, why don't you play?" Caleb asked Anya," It is your deck."
"Dona, if he's not gonna go easy then maybe I should take over," Anya said quietly so only Dona could hear.
"I can't do that now, I'm the one playing him so I'll do it with honor," Dona argued picking up Anya's cards and passing them to her. Dona then took her own cards out and drew a hand.
"Let's make a deal, you can start with an extra card in your hand and you go first instead," Dona proposed. Caleb nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds fine, but better idea, we both start with 8 cards and 2000 Life Points. Makes it interesting for our spectators," Caleb said smiling and drawing more cards.
"Where did you get those cards?" Anya asked shocked Dona had gotten anything.
"I bought a starter deck like you suggested," Dona said back to Anya who stood out being right behind Dona, as the rest of the crowd was now spaced out in a circle around them.
"Hah! I'm not gonna lose to no structure deck!" Caleb said, a but irritated but still joyful.
"What deck even is it?" Anya asked Dona. Dona then got up and whisper it to Anya. Anya's eyes widened and then reached into her pocket and gave Dona a card. Dona looked at it and smiled.
"Thanks," Dona said to Anya before sitting back down and drawing her new hand.
"Okay then, ready?" Caleb asked.
"Yeah," Dona said more confidently than before.
