Anya yawned getting out of her bed. She got up and stretched a bit. She walked over to her mirror to look at herself, only to see she was still wearing her clothes from the other day. In fact, she still had a duel disk on, and it was activated. Anya then heard heavy breathing, and it wasn't her own. She turned around only to find that her room was now empty, and looking back, the rest of her things were gone. Her bed, the mirror, everything. Anya turned around once more to see somebody in a brown cloak, the hood covering their face. If let its arm slip out of the cloak, revealing a ghostly duel disk. It's other arm motioned for a fight as it came out of the cloak. Anya not knowing what else to do, raised her duel disk. She wanted to shout at the thing yet she found herself unable. Anya still drew her cards and prepared herself.

The hidden figure decided to go first. He set a monster and set a card. He made a hand gesture, telling Anya it was her turn. She drew her card. Anya gave the figure a fierce look before playing the spell, Mystical Space Typhoon, which destroyed his set card, Wind's Way. Anya then summoned Chocolate Magician Girl.

Choco. Magician Girl (1600 Atk|1000 Def) Level 4, Water, Spellcaster

Anya activated its effect, discarding Silent Swordsman to draw a card. She then set a card and activated Monster Reborn. Anya brought back Silent Swordsman and then activated Hand Destruction, both players discarded their hands and drew new cards, Silent Swordsman's ability makes it gain 1500 Atk since the opponent drew three cards, 500 Atk each.

She then set two cards before having Silent Swordsman Attack the set monster. It flipped and revealed Wind's Vale: Memory.

Anya then commanded Chocolate Magician Girl to Attack directly. She moved forward and shot a chocolatey orb from her staff. Anya looked over only to see the person's Life Points when up.

Anya was shocked, but then the person displayed a trap card, Wind's Way, which Anya previously destroyed. When you are targeted for a direct attack, banish this card, negate the attack and gain LP equal to double the attacking monster's current attack. He then held up Wind's Vale: Memory, which can banish itself and return a banished card to the graveyard. The figure took out Wind's Way and slipped it back into the grave. Anya had no other choice but to end her turn.

The man drew a card, adding 500 Atk to Silent Swordsman.

He then activated the card he drew, showing the spell, Vale's Light, special summoning a banished monster. The monster chosen was Wind's Vale: Memory. It was special summoned in defense mode. Another monster was then added to the field.

He played a set card and ended his turn. The figure then made the same hand gesture again. Anya drew and activated Wonder Wand, equipping it to Chocolate.

Anya took a moment to think. She knew that the man left a monster in attack mode so he probably wanted her to attack it. She then looked at the set card he had, so it was either a monster effect or a trap. She looked at her field to see she didn't have a counter. As Anya was about to end her turn, the mystery person flipped their face down, Forced Strike. The card forced one of Anya's Monsters to attack. The figure's hand then pointed at Chocolate Magician Girl. Anya looked worried as the mage went in for the attack on Wind's Vale: Echo. It was destroyed but Anya was the one who lost LP.

Anya: 4000 -> 1900

The man held up the card for Anya to read. When attacked, Echo deals damage to the opponent equal to the monsters attack. When destroyed, all damage is nullified towards the user.
Anya then attacked Memory because there was now no risk. Silent Swordsman slashed through it. Anya then passed over her turn.

The figure drew a card. Silent Swordsman gained another 500 Atk.

The man set a monster and ended his turn. Anya drew and activated the spell, Magician's Knowledge, destroying the set monster. Anya then attacked directly with Silent Swordsman. The figure used the same combo with Wind's Way, gaining life points.

Anya then tried to attack with Chocolate Magician Girl, but the figure activated Memory's effect to add Wind's Way back to the Graveyard, allowing him to activate it again.

Anya had no choice but to then end her turn.  The cloaked figure drew.
"Do you know why your here?" the figure spoke in a distorted voice. Anya tried to respond but found herself unable.
"Hex is an interesting place, but it's still only the beginning," the figure said to Anya.
"Allow me to show you," the figure said. 3 Monsters were then banished, a spell was activated, the figure drew 2 cards. It kept going as Anya struggled to make out what was happening. After the figure stopped for a moment, a giant portal opened up over its head.
"It's time you learned Anya. I open the Portal! I now Portal Summon, Lungti, Wind's of Death!"
A ghost entity emerged from the portal and surrounded itself in a tornado.
"Anya, you'll understand soon, I Attack you directly!"

Anya gasped, waking up in her bed, she looked around skeptically. She got up and saw she was in her sleep wear. She got changed and brushed off what happened as a nightmare. She grabbed her deck and walked out the door, as a blank pink card fell from her bed.
