Anya woke up weary and with little sense of anything. Her mind laid foggy and dormant on the rocky ground as Anya laid there. She felt around a bit, still coming to. After realizing she wasn't home where she was supposed to be, Anya jolted up and began scanning the area.
"Well isn't this just lovely," Anya said with an attitude, slowly getting herself off the ground. There was a screech from behind her. Anya turned, with a fierce look on her face to see a ghostly figure of some sort being chased by a man on a surfboard of sorts. It was quick as both figures zoomed by, but Anya spotted a duel disk on the man's arm.
"Oh dear, mum would kill me if this wasn't a dream..." Anya complained, shaking her head in disapproval. Anya began moving towards the man with the duel disk. She heard another scream from behind her. Anya turned to see a ghostly figure facing her, seeming looking though. It pulled out a cloak of sorts and croaked out something Anya couldn't understand. She then heard a beeping from her wrist, looking down to see herself wearing a duel disk. A central console flashed the number 4000 and a words saying 'draw your cards.'
"Oh what would mother say? But it is my dream so, I'll duel you!" She spoke partly to herself and partly towards the figure.
"Duel!" Anya screamed.

"Ah, this is weird. If this is my dream then I should have my cards," Anya spoke to herself, showing a sign of satisfaction as she drew her cards.

"Alright then. I'll start off by Summoning Silent Magician Lvl 0!" Anya spoke with confidence.

A small magician in red and black appeared before Anya.

Silent Magician (1000 Atk|1000 Def) Level 4, Light Attribute, Spellcaster

"I'll then set 2 cards and use Hand Destruction! We discard out hands and draw a card for every card we discarded." Anya spoke. The spooky silhouette didn't react, but 5 cards appeared in front of it and disappeared. 5 new cards reappeared. Anya discarded the one card left in her hand and drew one more.
"Silent Magician's effect activates now. Since you drew five cards, it gains 5 levels and 500 Atk for each level."

"I'll then equip Silent Magician with Gagaga Wand, giving him 500 more Attack Points."

"I'll then flip the quick play spell, Devious Withdraw. By returning Silent Magician to my hand, you are dealt damaged equal to his current attack points. That's 4000 damage."
The card activated and a hand sprung out of the ground to throw Silent Magician at the ghost like creature.

"This adrenaline feels amazing," Anya spoke to herself. She looked back at the figure to see it fade, revealing a purple glowing orb. It flew towards Anya's duel disk and inserted itself.
"Well, I guess it's time for my little dream to end," Anya spoke with a depressed tone. She then disappeared from the dusty terrain.

Anya woke up in her purple bed. She got up and reached to turn on her lamp. Her room was bare, only a desk, nightstand, and cabinet. The walls were white with pink polkadots. Anya got out of her bed and opened a compartment under her bed. She reached in and pulled out a deck of Duel Monster cards.
"I better take these with me so mom doesn't find them," Anya though to herself. She changed into blue jeans with a red jacket. Anya shoved the cards into here pocket, turned off the lamp, and left her room. She quietly made her way down the stairs and out the door. She hopped onto a red motorcycle and rode off through the morning atmosphere.

The highway was calm, with surprisingly little traffic. The morning sky was still dark early in the morning. Anya rode down the highway and turned onto a dirt road. She drove up it onto a hill, passing a sign which read 'Duel Road.' She pulled into a clearing where many people stood by different vehicles, asking to duel.
"Where is he?" Anya thought, looking around for somebody. She took her deck out of her pocket and popped open part of her motorcycle to reveal a duel disk. She put her cards in and turned to see someone riding up behind her.
"Hey Ryan," she spoke as the dude stopped next to her. The man took off his helmet to reveal blonde hair and a smiling face.
"What's up hot stuff," Ryan slyly asked Anya.
"Same old same old," Anya replied causally as she revved engine.
"So you wanna get this started quickly then?" Ryan asked Anya, skepticism in his voice.
"Yeah. Unlike you, I have stuff to do with my life," she responded quickly.
"Ok ok, no need to be so rude about it. Let's get on the road," Ryan spoke, acting like the insult bounced right off him. He began speeding towards the dirt path, and activated his duel disk. Anya began racing after him.
"So, shall we use the Link Rules or no?" Ryan asked Anya, to which she just nodded.
"Ok then, let's duel!" Ryan shouted.
"Let's Duel!" Anya cried out.

"I'll set a card and that's it for my turn," Ryan said with satisfaction. He gave a big goofy smile to Anya. She rolled her eyes and drew a card.

"It's my turn. I'll start by activating the Last Trick spell card, which allows me to special summon as many Spellcasters from my deck as you have monsters on the field. Since your scales still count as monsters, I can summon 4 monsters!" Anya said with a fierce expression on her face.
"I could summon Silent Magician or other powerful monsters like Dark Magician but I know Ryan's deck so he should be prepared. Also, Temporal Gear can destroy all monsters level 7 or higher so I should keep it low leveled," Anya thought to herself.

"I Special Summon Apple, Kiwi, Lemon, and Chocolate Magician Girl from my deck!"

"I'll then Normal Summon Berry Magician Girl, filling my field with monsters!" Anya cheered, playing her card onto the duel disk.

"Her effect activates now, allowing me to add a Magician Girl to my hand. I choose Dark Magician Girl," Anya said with confidence.
"Ok, now I could use the Kiwi Magician Girl in my hand to boost up all my monsters but Ryan's face down does concern me. I have no way of destroying it now so I'll hold off," Anya strategized.
"I'll play 2 face downs and end my turn," Anya said.

"Your disappointing me today Anya, you normally go all out. Something wrong?" Ryan said, genuinely concerned.
"Nothing is wrong, it's just I know how you play and how your deck works," Anya barked back with a snarky demeanor.
"Okay then, I draw." Ryan said.

"Well Anya, don't blame me for what's about to happen," Ryan said, giggling uncontrollably," First of all, I Pendulum Summon Possessed Sword back and then activate the spell Raigeki, which destroys all your monsters on your field."
Anya- {Awe shoot, he anticipated me trying to avoid his effects and tuned his deck up, I'm done for now— wait}
"I activate the Kiwi Magician's effect in my hand by sending her to my graveyard. Now all my Magician Girls gain 300 Attack and Defense for every Magician Girl on the field and in the graveyard. For a total of six Magician Girls, that's 1800 Attack and defense for all of them.

"Nice play but for as cautious as you can get, I can't believe you forgot the effect of my Time GeR. Once per turn, I can revert any changes to Attack and Defense points, so your Magicians are all back to normal. Since it also doesn't target your Magician Girls specifically, the effect goes through," Ryan said, showing off how clever he can be.

"I'll now begin my attack as Mechan Scythe attacks Berry!" Ryan cheered

Anya: 4000 -> 2800

"Next up, Mechan's ability destroys one of your face downs after the successful attack, and Possessed Sword now will Attack Kiwi!"

Anya: 2800 -> 2600

"Due to Ganbara's effect, the monster linked to him can attack again. Possessed Sword now attacks Chocolate Magician Girl. I know about her effect and Possessed Sword negates it," Ryan explained.
"It seems you've been preparing yourself Ryan," Anya called out to him.
"I have been, and now you'll lose for the fourth time I think," Ryan said.

Anya: 2600 -> 2200

"I think four is the number of times we've driven around this hill already, you haven't beaten me that many times," Anya said, provoking Ryan while also joking with him.

"We'll see about that as Ganbara Attacks Apple Magician Girl. He also gains Possessed Sword's ability due to the link. Apple can't activate her effects during the battle phase!" Ryan called out, proud of himself.

Anya: 2200 -> 2100

"Once Apple has been sent to the grave yard, I can add Magician Girls with different names to my hand. I add back a Kiwi, Berry, and Chocolate," Anya said, stunned by how well Ryan had read her.

"I'll end my turn with that. I've pushed you into a corner, admit it," Ryan said, praising himself.
"We'll see about that," Anya replied with confidence," I draw!"

"With this, I can make my comeback!" Anya thought to herself.
"I'll start by banishing the Magician's Calling trap in my graveyard to add a monster and spell back to my hand from the graveyard. I choose Apple Magician Girl and Last Trick. I'll now activate last trick to special summon up to 5 Spellcasters since you have 5 monsters on your field. I'll special summon Apple, Chocolate, Dark Magician Girl, and Dark Magician all from my hand too!"

"You've made a mistake Anya, Temporal GeR destroys all level sevens and higher. Dark Magician is now destroyed," Ryan tried to correct Anya.
"I've actually planned on that. Now Dark Magician gains 500 Attack Points now that Dark Magician is in the graveyard," Anya remarked back towards Ryan.
"Actually, Time GeR stops that attack boost," Ryan shouted back to her, purposely making his engine louder to have a reason to shout.
"Then I'll send Kiwi in my hand to the graveyard to—."
"I can't let that happen again; I activate my trap, Locking Mechanism. It's negates your card's effect and sends it to the graveyard," Ryan interrupted Anya. Her face was getting red as she became more flustered about the situation.
"He's blocking all of my strategies," Anya thought. "He's really taken his time to prepare himself for this duel. Well I'll show him!"

"I summon Berry Magician Girl, and then use her ability to add another Magician Girl to my hand. I add another Kiwi. I'll then use Chocolate to discard the Dark Sage in my hand to activate her effect. By discarding a Spellcaster, I can draw another card," Anya explained to Ryan, who looked like he was enjoying this string of effects.
"I'll now activate Lemon's effect. By sending Berry to the graveyard, I can add another Spellcaster to my hand, and I choose Magician of Black Chaos!" Anya exclaimed excitedly.
"What an interesting choice but as I'm following, you don't have the Ritual Spell to summon him in your hand," Ryan told her in a confused manner.
"Who says I'll be Summoning him? I activate my facedown, the spell card Limitbreak. It allows me to activate an effect that would only be used once per turn again. I'll now activate Chocolate Magician Girl's effect by discarding Magician of Black Chaos to draw another card. Dark Magician gains another 500 Attack Points and you can't negate it this time!"

"But I also get to use an effect again," Ryan chimed in.
"Yeah," Anya admitted," But it'll be worth it when I destroy you!"
"Oh yeah? Come at me, I can take you on!" Ryan challenged.
"Well I'll wipe you out this turn then! I use Kiwi's ability in my hand for all my Magician Girl's to power up again!"
"Ah silly girl, you feel for my manipulation. I can activate Time GeR's Pendulum Effect again making that ability powerless now, you should know better. Thinking back, you should of attacked me on your first turn. Then we wouldn't be in this predicament," Ryan explained, scolding her temper for acting rashly at the wrong times.
"Well I can still attack now after equipping Apple with Wonder Wand," Anya spoke back at Ryan.

"Dark Magician Girl attacks Possessed Sword!" Anya exclaimed.

Ryan: 4000 -> 3500

"Next up, Chocolate attacks Ganbara's Sword!" Anya called out.

"Apple Magician Girl will now attack Mechan Scythe," Anya spoke. Both monsters destroyed each other. "Apple Girl's effect now activates, adding Berry and Kiwi back to my hand. Finally, Lemon attacks directly!"

Ryan: 3200 -> 2600

"I end my turn." Anya said, looking extremely relieved.
"Your beginning to come back Anya but that won't stop me!" Ryan shouted proudly," I draw!!!"
