Note: Hello fellow GX Fans! I'm back! This time this duel is gonna be split into two parts. And I finally found an opponent for Yuna. Everyone meet Missy! You might recognize her from Season 2 from the Episode: Sad, but Truesdale.

Well here we go!

-Duel Academy: Slifer Dorms-

Yuna woke up early in the morning, before the sun was in the sky. Today was their midterm promotion exams. She didn't want to advance to the next dorm, but she wanted to do her best out there.

"Woo!"

Yuna turned her head to see Kuriboh bouncing on her bed. Being the only girl in the Slifer Dorm had it's perks. What didn't help was how most people would stare at her, all because of the fact that she's Yugi Muto's little sister.

Kuriboh seemed to sense his mistress' distress. Kuriboh was one of the few cards Yugi gave to Yuna. Whenever Kuriboh or any other of her spirits come out, Yuna doesn't feel as nervous, especially when she's dueling.

Ring! Ring!

Yuna looked up from her deck to see that her D-pad was ringing. Nobody would be up at this time...

Kuriboh floated beside her as she answered the call. And boy was she surprised.

"Hey sis! How are you!" came Yugi's voice.

"Big bro!" was Yuna's reaction of surprise.

"How are you? I just wanted to make sure you're fine. After all, don't you have midterms today?" asked Yugi.

"Y-Yeah...I do. There's a written exam and a field test too." Yuna explained.

"Yuna, are you still nervous? I know you'll do fine. You always do. After all, isn't Jaden there too?" said Yugi.

"Yeah he is...by the way slick move bro. You gave him Winged Kuriboh." chuckled Yuna.

Yugi chuckled, he knew she would notice.

"By the way, I'm sending you an early birthday present. It should come in before Winter Break." Yugi said, still chuckling. "Let's just say that Kaiba owed me a favor."

"Thanks bro." replied Yuna. "Speaking of presents, did you get Hanako a present yet? It's almost your anniversary. And I don't want you to end up like Joey. You know, when he forgot to get a present for Mai."

"No worries, I already got her a present. And I'm hoping she'll like it." chuckled Yugi.

"That's great Yugi!" cheered Yuna happily.

She looked out her window and noticed that the sun was rising.

"Hey Big Bro, I gotta go. It's almost time for class to start and I don't want to be late."

"In that case good luck. And in your field test, know that we're rooting for you! You'll be fine." encouraged Yugi.

"Thanks bro! Oh, say 'Hi' to Grandpa for me!" said Yuna, getting up from her chair.

"No problem Yuna. See you soon. Bye!"

And with that both Yugi and Yuna hung up. The blackette sighed and picked up her moon necklace that was around her neck.

Hopefully, her nerves won't get her this time.

"Woo!"

Yuna turned to her bouncing Kuriboh and ruffled his fur.

"C'mon Kuriboh! Let's go!"

-Time Skip: Banner's Class-

"You have 45 Minutes left to finish your test." said Professor Banner as the class took the test.

Yuna had taken her seat beside a sleeping Syrus and Jaden was nowhere to be seen. Syrus had fallen asleep and was muttering card counters while Yuna was busy with her exam.

"Which counters a field spell, which counters...." mumbled Syrus sleepily.

"I didn't know this was an oral exam Syrus." came a voice beside the two Slifers. "Maybe next time sleeping would be better than an all night Slifer Seance."

Syrus sprung awake and he and Yuna looked over to see Jaden.

"Morning Jaden!" whispered Yuna, chuckling.

"You're here!" said Syrus, a little too loudly.

"You two wanna keep it down!" someone growled behind them, it was Chazz. "Some of us plan to pass this test!"

"Hey I always plan on passing it just doesn't work out that way." countered Jaden.

"Oh Jaden!" called Professor Banner. "Why don't you come down here and get your exam?"

"Uh, be there in a jiff!" replied Jaden, while Yuna just sighed.

'He's never gonna finish this....' she thought as Jaden and Syrus immediately fell alseep.

-Time Skip-

"Alright class, the written exam is now over. So please walk, do not run, to get in line for today's new rare cards." announced Professor Banner.

"THEY'RE HERE?!"

"Oh dear..."

Yuna turned and saw her whole class wildly rush out of the classroom like headless Niwadori chickens. Sweatdropping, she noticed that Jaden and Syrus were still napping.

A Ra Yellow came up beside them and started to shake the sleeping duo.

"Say, you two may want to get some serious help to waking up." said the Ra.

Syrus immediately shot up from his nap.

"Aw, I flunked didn't I?!" he sobbed, "I'm a complete failure!"

Yuna giggled as Jaden said, "Sy, if they were grading on melodrama you'd get an A!"

"Don't pull yourself down like that Sy," said Yuna, ruffling his hair.

Syrus smiled a bit at his two friends l, but then noticed the empty classroom.

"Huh? Hey, where did everyone go?"

"That's what I was trying to tell you." said the Ra. "The new rare cards arrived today, everyone is at the Card Shack."

"WHAT?! NEW CARDS?! HEY HOW COME NO ONE EVER TOLD US?!" yelled Syrus.

"Because everyone wants the best cards for themselves, Sy." explained Yuna. "The Field Test is after lunch."

"So why aren't you and Bastion going, Yun?" asked Syrus.

"Please, one error card and my deck's delicate balance would be completely thrown off." replied Bastion, the Ra.

"Mine wouldn't!" said Syrus.

"So let's go!" suggested Jaden, standing up. "There's nothing like the smell of new cards in the morning!"

"I'll catch up later Jay, you and Sy go on ahead." said Yuna, standing up out of her seat and walking out of the classroom.

"Okay,  thanks for the tip Bastion!"

With that, Jaden and Syrus ran off into the Card Shack.

-Time Skip-

Yuna found herself on the roof of the academy and stared at the overview of the island.

"*sigh* Man, why do I still have jitters before I duel....is it the people?" she muttered to herself, sitting down.

'Is this how Yugi felt when he went against Kaiba for the first time?' she thought.

Woo!

Yuna turned to see Kuriboh bouncing in front of her, trying to make her laugh. Well it worked as Yuna picked up the furry monster and ruffled it's fur.

"Haha! You never fail to make me smile Kuriboh!"

Woo! Woo!

Suddenly, one of her monsters popped out beside Yuna, making the Kuriboh smile.

"Milady, it's almost time for the exam."

"REALLY!" she screamed in surprise. "COME ON! WE DON'T WANT TO BE LATE!"

With that, Yuna quickly dashed off as the shadowed monster and Kuriboh disappeared back into the deck.

-Duel Gym-

Yuna barely made it into the area where the exams were being held.

"Hey, Yun!"

Yuna turned to see Jaden and Syrus running towards her.

"Hey Jay, Sy, what's up?" she asked, blinking.

"You made it, they just called your name!" said Jaden, making her eyes go wide.

"EH?!"

Rushing down, Yuna quickly grabbed a duel disk and went off to her spot in the arenas.

When she got there, she was met with an Obelisk Blue girl with with a weird hairstyle and a really risque version of the Obelisk Girl Uniform.

"So you're my opponent today, hun?" scoffed the girl, flipping her hair. "You look just like a runt."

'Okay, this lady may dress like Mai, but at least Mai has character.' Yuna growled inside her head.

"So, you're my opponent...uh..."

"The name's Missy, hun. So what's yours?"

"Yuna..."

"Well then are you ready to duel? I'm so ready to wipe the floor with you."

Eye twitching, Yuna activated her duel disk in response to Missy's rude retort.

"If that's the case..."

"DUEL!"

Turn 1

Missy: 4000
Yuna: 4000

"Alright hun, beauty before midgets."
said Missy, drawing a card.

'M-Midget?!' Yuna yelled internally.

"I summon my Prickle Fairy in defense mode!" said Missy, summoning the plant-like monster. "And when she's on the field hun, you can't attack any insect monsters."

'So it's like Valkyria's effect...only for bugs...' thought Yuna, looking down at her five cards.

Turn 2

"Alright, my turn!" said Yuna drawing a card and smiling. "I play Tribute to the Doomed! By sending one card in my hand to the Graveyard, I can destroy one monster on your field. Like that Prickle Fairy!"

Mummy hands rose up from the ground and dragged the plant monster to the Graveyard.

"Next, I summon Tuned Magician in Attack Mode!"

"Now attack her directly!"

Jumping into the air, Tuned Magician delivered a powerful blast of magical energy at Missy, who grunted as a result of the blast.

Missy: 4000 - 1800 = 2200

"I place a card facedown and end my turn."

"Grr, you'll pay for that stunt." growled Missy.

Turn 3

"I summon Pinch Hopper in Attack Mode!"

"But it won't be here for long, I play Multiplication of Ants!"

"By sacrificing my Pinch Hopper, I can summon two Army Ant Tokens."

'Great more bugs,' thought Yuna in disgust. 'This is Weevil all over again...'

"I use Pinch Hopper's Special Ability to summon my Insect Princess!"

-Stands-

"Uh oh, not looking good!" said Jaden.

"It does seem that way." said Syrus.

'I hope Yuna knows what she's doing!' thought Alexis, worried.

-Field-

Turn 3

"Next, I play my Field Spell, Insect Garden!"

"Now any Level 4 or below monsters I control will be given to you Hun."

"Great...." muttered Yuna as the Ant Tokens crawled to her side of the field.

"Now I activate Insect Pheromone and equip it to my Princess!"

"Attack the first Army Ant Token!"

Insect Princess glided across the field and smashed one of the tokens.

Yuna: 4000 - 1400 = 2600

"Since Insect Princess destroyed an Insect Monster, her special ability activates." giggled Missy. "500 more Attack Points!"

Insect Princess: ATK: 1900 + 500 = 2400

'Uh oh!'

"Oh, since my Princess is equipped with Insect Pheromone, all Insect Type monsters you have are forced to attack!" said Missy as the Army Ant Token went charging in, only to be destroyed by Insect Princess.

Yuna: 2600 - 1900 = 700

"And let's not forget my Princess' special ability, Hun."

Insect Princess: ATK: 2400 + 500 = 2900

"I end my turn from there."

Turn 4

"Here I go!" said Yuna, drawing a card.

"I summon Mystical Elf in Defense Mode!"

"Then I'll put down two face downs and end my turn."

Turn 5

"That's such a pathetic move there hun. Are you sure you're related to the King of Games?" taunted Missy, drawing her card. "Cause if that's all you got, then this duel's over."

"For your information Drag Queen, my move is not pathetic and this duel ain't over until the last card is played!" insulted Yuna, crossing her arms over her chest.

Growling, Missy went on with her move, "I summon Magical Longhorn!"

"And thanks to my lovely Insect Garden, it goes to your side of the field."

With that the insect crawled near Yuna's monster.

"But it's not staying for long, once my Princess attacks, your done for Hun." giggled Missy.

Insect Princess goes in for the kill, but Yuna thinks fast.

"I activate Kuriboh's ability!" she said, taking Kuriboh's card and sending it to the Graveyard. "Now I take no damage!"

Missy growls as Magical Longhorn was destroyed but Yuna was safe.

Insect Princess: ATK: 2900 + 500 = 3400

Turn 6

"Come on Heart of the Cards, guide me." muttered Yuna, drawing her card, looked at it, and smiled.

'YES!'

"First off, I activate my Trap, Dust Tornado!" she said, activating her Trap. "And I'll use it to destroy, your Insect Garden!"

A large tornado stirred up and decimated the Field Spell.

"Next I play Spellbinding Circle! So now, your Princess can't attack!"

Missy growled as the circle trapped her precious Insect Princess.

-Stands-

"Alright! She's back in business!" cheered Syrus, giving Jaden a high five.

"Sweetness, go Yuna!!" came Jaden's happy cry.

-Field-

"Now for the moment of truth. You are in for a treat." said Yuna, winking. "I tribute my Tuned Magician and Mystical Elf."

-Stands-

"Uh Jaden, any idea what she's talking about?" asked Syrus.

"Search me Sy," replied Jaden, scratching his head. "Yun's always been full of surprises."

'I hope you know what you're doing Yuna.' Alexis thought, looking down on the field.

-Field-

A green and purple summoning circle appeared in front of Yuna, and both of her Spellcasters were sucked in. At once, large amounts of magical power began to pour through the circle.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, allow me to introduce one of my favorites!"

A VERY familiar purple-clad magician jumped out of the summoning circle, causing many students, including some of Yuna's friends, to gasp in shock.

"Say hello to Dark Magician!!!"
