Part 9

Well it’s been a while since my first shadow game and boy did they come back over and over again! I mean I had a total of ten these past two weeks!! So Atem told me he wanted to take me some where…! DID HE ASK ME ON A DATE?!... No he didn’t… well any ways I went to the park where he told me to meet him… there he was in front of the fountain “hey I made it” I said while walking over to him “oh good you’re here!” he smiled “what’s up? Where did you want to take me?” I asked ”well I wanted to ask what life was like after your parents died… if it’s ok that is” he looked at me with curious eyes “yea it’s ok… now where to--- oh yea! Well life wasn’t all fun and games I had to fend for myself if you would… I took odd jobs and spent on only what I needed not what I wanted… but then…” I stopped for a while “scientists… they brought me into a lab against my will and studied me just cause I was different… I’m not exactly human but I’m still a living being…!” I noticed I was ramping on and on so I stopped and blushed “I’m sorry about that... it’s just when I get talking it’s hard to stop” ”no, no keep going” Atem smiled my face was as red as a tomato ”w-well ok… I was threatened, electrocuted, cut burned anything that could mentally or physically hurt me they did just for research… my ears… if my mom and dad never met I wouldn’t have this curse!!” “curse?” Atem looked at me with gentle eyes “if they never met we wouldn’t be here would we?” I looked at him he smiled “I-I never thought of it that way before…” ”now you said you weren’t exactly human… what did you mean by that?” “I am a half-demon… my dad was a demon cat and my mom was a human” I looked down sadly “that’s very interesting” he smiled then I looked and smiled back “well how about a movie?” “Sure!” I was happy he said movie! “what would you like to go see Kari?” “How about wreck-it-ralph?” “Sure I heard it was a good movie” we went to the movies and Atem bought everything “are you sure you got everything? I could have at least gotten the drinks…” “No it’s fine” he smiled I blushed… I thought I had that under control! I still felt really bad that he bought EVERYTHING!!! After the movie we talked about it while Atem walked me home… then we were soon stopped by someone with a shadow aura around him like a shadow duelist… BUT HE HAD NO DUELDISK!!! Uh-oh!!
