After school that day I ran up to Yugi, Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Atem “hey guys” “What’s up Kat?” “Kat”Joey’s nick name for me now… I liked it cause it suited me quite well “I just wanted to ask if you wanted to meet my parents.” ”Sure” Yugi looked happy when I asked “I know I would” Joey announced “Count us in!” Tristan and Tea both said “I would like to meet them.” Atem said firmly “Ok” I smiled then led the way “Kari?" Yugi called “yes?” I replied “Why are we at a grave yard?” “You said you wanted to meet my parents…” I pointed a grave that read ‘here lies Rune and Kagura Mizuno’ “Well here they are” a few tears dripped off my cheek and they got the message “Kari…” Tea looked sad and a little heartbroken “I’m so sorry…”Joey said in an upset like tone “Yea… what happened?” Yugi looked at me with sad eyes… “Is that what you were thinking about this morning?” “Yes it was Atem…” tears streamed down my face and I couldn’t stop them from coming “I-I was only four when they died…” my ears lowered... then... everything grew silent...
