(Third Person PoV)

Scene set!

Setting was in a tower with the words LID, there were so many staff typing away as they detected a brand new Summoning signal.

There was a man was waiting for answers and he was waiting patiently.

"Sir, we found a match! The new Summoning Signal is called Pendulum!" A staff exclaimed.

The man was caught by surprise.

Meanwhile, back at the stadium, people were caught by surprise! What is this? A new summoning method? But how?

Yuya was just as surprised. How was she able to do that?

"How was she able to do that? You can't just summon multiple monsters just like that and a level 7 monster without releasing as well!" The Sledgehammer shouted.

"The Anti-Cheat program hasn't stopped her from doing that move," Nico told him as well as the crowd.

"So that means...that move is legal?!" The Sledgehammer cried.

"Well then...," Yuya flicked her hair back, "The fun has just started!"

"Hell yeah! She's using her father's catchphrase! That's making my red hot blood boil!!" Syuzo exclaimed.

"You got this, Yuya!" Yuichi cheered.

Yoko gave her daughter a soft smile.

Yuya...you have been wearing the mask of a clown ever since your father disappeared. Masking your true emotions with humiliation but now...you have the opportunity to show the world who you really are. A Dueltainer just like your father, she thought.

"Go Yuya!" Yoko called out.

"I use Performapal Whip Snake's effect! Once per turn during one of our Main Phase, I can target a face up monster and switch its attack and defense points until the end of this turn" Yuya explained, loudly.

Whip Snake wagged the metronome on its tail and Battleguard King fell to one knee, switching his attack and defense points

4000 —> 1100 ATK

1100 —> 4000 DEF

"And now I activate Performapal Sword Fish's effect as well! When he gets summoned, your monster loses 600 attack points and whenever another monster gets summoned, your monster again loses 600 attack and defense points. I summoned two more monster alongside Sword Fish!" Yuya snapped her fingers.

"What?!" The Sledgehammer cried.

"Go Sword Fish!" Yuya shouted and Performapal Sword Fish made multiple copies of itself and shot at Battleguard King.

1100 —> 0 ATK

"Whoa! Would you look at that?! Yuya just made The Sledgehammer's Ace lose all of his attack points in one move! What other tricks that this girl has up her sleeve?" Nico asked.

"And now I attack your monster with mine! Go, Odd Eyes! Spiral Flame!" Yuya shouted.

"Not so fast! I use the trap card, Battleguard Howling! When a warrior monster is targeted for an attack, I can select one face up monster that you control, return it to your hand and you take damage equal to that monster's attack points. You lose!" The Sledgehammer intervened.

But Yuya just grinned at this.

"I was expecting that," she said which took all of them by surprise.

"Timegazer Magician, who rules over space and time! Protect me with your ethereal secrets! I activate your Pendulum effect!" She shouted.

"Pendulum effect?!" The Sledgehammer cried.

"When a Pendulum monster attacks or will get attacked, you can't activate trap cards until the end of the Damage step! Go Timegazer! Infinity Gear Reverse!" Yuya shouted.

Timegazer Magician held up a curved disk with soft teeth and a clock appeared.

It winded backwards which reset The Sledgehammer's trap card.

"Damn it!" The Sledgehammer then ran into the jungle and grabbed an Action Card.

"I activate the Action Card, Evasion! Your attack is negated!" He shouted.

"Nope! Stargazer Magican, who rules over space and time! Seal my enemies with your power! I activate your Pendulum effect! When a Pendulum monster attacks, you can't activate Spell Cards until the end of the Damage Step! Halting Horoscope!" Yuya shouted.

Stargazer held up a staff and drew out a constellation which destroyed the Action card.

"Now Odd Eyes can't be stopped! And one last thing," Yuya held up a finger.

"And that is?" The Sledgehammer asked.

"Whenever Odd Eyes destroys a level 5 or higher monster, the damage that you take is doubled," Yuya winked.

"Doubled?!" The Sledgehammer cried.

"Odd Eyes, continue the attack! Reaction Force!" Yuya shouted and her Dragon shot out a spiral flame from his mouth, completely destroying The Sledgehammer's monster.

4000 —> 0 LPS

WINNER: Yuya Sakaki.

"That's the end!" Yuya spun and did a peace sign.

The crowd was silent for a moment.

"Did she...?" Syuzo asked.

"Yuya, you...," Yuichi trailed off.

"She won," Gongenzaka finished.

Then the crowd went wild.

"YUYAAAAAAA! THAT DUEL WAS HOT BLOODED!!!" Syuzo cheered.

"YOU DID IT!" Yuichi pumped a fist in the air.

Yoko smiled, proudly at her daughter.

"You did it, Yuya. You defeated the Sledgehammer in place of your father," she whispered.

Yusho, if only you were here, she thought.

"What a turn of events! The Sledgehammer has been decrowned by none other than the daughter of the previous Action Duel Champion! And what's more, she pulled off a never before seen summoning technique! Yuya, tell us more about this Pendulum Summon," Nico rushed over to her, knocking the Sledgehammer out of the way.

"...wha?" Yuya asked, confused.

She looked very confused. Did she just won?

(Meanwhile)

At the LIDS tower, a silver haired young man was walking through a hallway with a man with a suit telling him on what they picked up during Yuya's duel.

"Mr. President, we have identified who was the one that caused the Pendulum energy," the man in the suit said.

"And?" The silver haired young man asked.

"Her name is Yuya Sakaki. She's 14, an eight grader in Paradise City School System, her dueling class is Youth and she has a 50% win rate. So she's relatively average," the man in the suit explained.

"Where does she duel normally?" The silver haired young man asked.

"At this duel school named You Show Duel School," the man replied.

The silver haired young man thought about this before repeating, "Yuya...Sakaki."

"We have confirmed that she is the daughter of Yusho Sakaki," the man said and opened up a file to live footage of Yuya deflecting questions on Pendulum Summoning. She looked very confused and embarrassed about it.

"How suspicious isn't it. Yusho Sakaki disappeared 3 years ago and now his daughter preforms a never before seen summoning technique. Continue doing a background check on her and report to me anything about Pendulum Summoning, no matter how trivial it may seem," the silver haired young man stated and they continued to walk through the hallway.

Scene Set!

Setting was a small school with the words; You Show Duel School in the front.

There was a long, bustling line of people much to the surprise of Ayu and Futoshi who were students at the Duel School.

Inside, Yuichi held up an application form for the people who were there.

"Now if you just filled this out, you'll be accepted into this school (please, we're pretty desperate)," he explained, muttering that last part under his breath.

There were so many people talking over each other that Yuichi started to feel overwhelmed at this.

Ayu and Futoshi entered in through the elevator and spotted Yuichi.

"Big Bro Yuichi!" They both said.

"Oh hey, you two! I'm so glad that you are here," he acknowledged them.

"Wow there's a lot of people here," Ayu noted.

"Ya. But Principal Hiragi told all of us to show up but he's not here," Futoshi noted.

"Yeah about that...Dad has been hugging the new Arc Solid Vision that we got thanks to Yuya. I think he wants to add it to the family," Yuichi explained, sweat dropping.

Indeed, he was right.

"Finally! We don't have to deal with a broken one anymore!" Syuzo cried out, tears of joy.

He was hugging a box as he sits by the control room.

Back to the three of them, Ayu sighed at the thought of the principal's antics before smiling.

"I'm so glad that Big Sis Yuya won! I knew that she would save our school," she said.

"Ya! Everyone admires her and oh that Pendulum Summoning! It's so awesome that it gives me the shivers!" Futoshi exclaimed.

"Hey! Are you going to teach us Pendulum Summoning here?" A boy asked.

"We uhh, we plan to. But only to people who apply," Yuichi said.

The crowd started to talk over each other and were being rather loud.

"One at time! One at the time, damn it! Single file line!" Yuichi shouted but it fell to deaf ears.

"Damn! And on top of all of this, I have a mock battle to do against Yuya but I don't have time to get ready," he groaned.

"Well guess it can't be helped," Gongenzaka arrived.

"Huh?" Yuichi looked confused.

"I guess I'll have to take over for you," Gongenzaka said.

"No way!" The two kids said.

"It's Yuichi's turn to duel," Ayu crossed her arms.

"Ya, it would be embarrassing for us to seek help from an outsider," Futoshi added on.

"O-outsider?" Gongenzaka sounded offended.

Then the two kids slowly pushed him into the elevator.

"Don't worry, Big Bro! We'll take it from here," Ayu assured him.

"Thank you!" Yuichi waved and ran off.

Before he left, he noticed a blue haired boy.

"Hey, you were there at Yuya's duel," he noticed.

The boy gave a small, shy nod before Yuichi ran off.
