Kira: That was amazing Lila!
Ryu: I have to admit, I'm impressed.
Den, Ryu, Kira, Jin and Lila brought their fists in the middle as they touched each others fists
Kira: Now that the five of us have advanced we can all sit and relax
Noire: Lila Quick question what did you talk about with that Kai person?
Lila: Let's talk about this somewhere else. Luckily I know just the place.
Lila creates a portal. Which opens up to a different area.
"You guys can come with us if you want." Lila said to Azure and his group.
As they enter the portal, Kishinami, his group excluding Lila were amazed on how it was built after Lila closed the portal behind her.
The place had a big living room with a TV, two bedrooms, a mini kitchen, a dueling arena outside and a restroom.

Neptune: Woah! How did you make this Lila!?
Lila: While you guys were at Kira's home and watching the duel in the tournament, I was able to take the time to make this as our secret base. Oh I forgot to tell you I'm an expert when it comes to secret base designs. So consider this as our base of operations. So go on make yourselves at home.
Kishinami and his allies sat on their respective seats before they started their discussion.
Den: So as Noire was saying, what did you and that Kai person you were dueling with talked about?
Lila: Kai asked me for a favor, he said he participated in this tournament to free the princess from a "curse"
Rachel: Princess? Who are you referring to?
Lila: Princess Rin Shinagawa. She's been separated from her half brother for three years because her father doesn't want her to make friends outside of her home. And she's been possessed by a demon, I think it's called Phoenixia.
Kira: Phoenixia..?
Azure: I think I've heard of it before.
Jin: You know of it?
Azure: Yes, Phoenixia is one of the Dark Spirits of Destruction. I had defeated it one time. But I didn't know it could possess someone.
Kira: So it's like Sheryl's Curse,
"Although we don't have proof that Rin is possessed by Phoenixia. We'll have to watch her duel and see for ourselves" Azure said.
"So then how are we going to watch the match and how will we know who wins?" Aqua asked in sign language
Jin: don't worry I got my laptop right here. So that way we won't have to miss out on who advances to the next round and the duel itself.

Kenji eyes widened at what Rin had become first he thought she was just some harmless shrine maiden duelist but now she was a duelist possessed by something.
"Now I see why Rekuto wants me to save her." Lila thought to herself.
Rin (Phoenixia): I activate Mahaama's effect from my hand, when I take battle damage I can special summon it from my hand!
Rin or should I say Rin possessed by Phoenixia brings out a monster with white scales and yellow wings.

Rin then reverts back to her original self.
Back at the Lila's hideout Kishinami and his group were astounded by Rin's dark spirit and duel.
Vert: That duel was intense!
Azure: So it appears that Phoenixia has Possessed Shinagawa.
Blanc: Just Like how Tengarou possessed Sheryl!
Den: I don't think she's like Sheryl Howard.
Kira: What do you mean?
Den: Sure they both have Dark spirits with them but unlike Sheryl, it feels like Shinagawa can control her demonic spirit, Lila, I hope you're ready to face her when the time comes.
Kishinami was right, Lila had to be ready, she needs to face Rin and free her from the demonic curse
