Digitron, Micro Coder, and Draconnet then set themselves on the link marker, one on the top, one on the bottom, and one on the lower right,

Den Looks through his deck and adds Cynet Optimization to his hand.
Kishinami then shows a card with Backup Secretary and Backup Operator assembling Bitron to a Bitrooper.
Den: Next I'll Activate, Cynet Optimization!

Den: Next I activate Threshold Borg's Effect, By Sending one Cyberse Monster from my hand to the Graveyard all of your monsters lose 500 Attack Points!
Den sends Latency from his hand to the Graveyard

Den: Oh Yeah I forgot to mention, With Cynet Optimization in play, when a Code Talker Monster attacks, you can't activate any Cards or effects during the Damage Step

Encode Talker Extends his Shield into a blade as it slashes through Nisashi destroying it in the process as Shiro shields his eyes from the explosion

Shiro: That was a pretty impressive turn. But not impressive enough. I Draw!

Turn 3: Shiro Harada

Shiro: I play the Spell Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Cynet Optimization
A cyclone appeared as it destroys Den's Cynet Optimization.
Next, I activate the Spell Raigeki! Which destroys all Monsters on your side of the field!
A Giant lightning bolt appeared on Den side of the field as it was about to destroy all of his monsters
Den: Not so fast! I play my Face Down, Cynet Backdoor!

Cynet Backdoor (Spell/Quick-Play)

Den: This card lets me banish one Cyberse monster on my field and it allows me to add a Cyberse Monster from my deck with fewer attack points than the banished monster.
Den: So I'll banish Encode Talker, and add Lockout Gardna to my hand. And next turn Encode comes back on my field and it can attack you directly.
The Vortex swallows up Encode Talker saving it from being destroyed but at the cost of Threshold Borg's destruction.
Travis: Why would he let Threshold Borg be destroyed? Now, he's wide open!
Rachel: I think it's the opposite, I think the card he added might turn the tides.
Shiro: Now I summon Legendary Six Samurai Mizuho!

Both Mizuho and Shinai attack Lockout Gardna, but it stood its ground at the cost of Den losing some LP, he didn't flinch from the damage.

The Vortex reappears and Encode Talker comes back on the field

Den: Next I'll use Linkmail's Effect, When it's Link Summoned I can target 1 monster in my graveyard as Long as its a Fusion, Synchro, Ritual or Xyz Monster and all of your monsters lose that amount of Attack Points. So I choose Diplexer Chimera, So all of your monsters lose 2000 Attack Points
Linkmail Archfiend hands become glowing purple as it reduces Mizuho's and Shinai's ATK points

Den flips over his face down card which reveals Backup Secretary, Bitron and Linkslayer reappearing from the link circuit

Shiro: That won't help, I use Shi En's effect to negate your card effect.
Den's eyes widen as his activated spell card was destroyed.
Shi-en Carries out it's attack as it slices Encode Talker in half but Den doesn't flinch from the damage
Den Kishinami LP: 6900 - (200) = 6700
Shiro: I place one card face down and end my turn,
Ryu: So as long as Shi En's on the field, Den's going to have a hard time destroying it.
Kira: Let's just hope he draws something useful.

Turn 6: Den Kishinami

Den: Here goes. I... DRAW!
Den draws his card and looks at it slowly and it was the card that he needed to win.
Den: Nice!
Den: First, I Summon Grid Sweeper!

Once the circuit was complete an Cyberized creature with Orange armor wielding a rifle appeared from Circuit

Den looks through his deck and adds Cynet Crosswipe to his hand

Shiro: Nice but it still dosen't compare to Shi en's attack.
Den: Sore wa dou kana? (Are you sure?)
Shiro: Huh?
Den: Cause I know exactly how to bring down your monster, I activate Grid Sweeper's effect my graveyard, By Banishing it and another Link Monster from My Graveyard, I can Take out one card on the field, and I choose Shi-en!
Shi-En starts to shatter until it was destroyed by Grid Sweeper's effect.
Den: Next I'll activate Transcode's effect, I can Special summon a Link-3 or below Cyberse Monster from my graveyard to a zone where Transcode is pointing, and I choose Clock Spartoi!
Clock Spartoi reappears on the field.

Den: Next I'll activate Cynet Crosswipe,

Cynet Crosswipe (Spell/Quick-play)

Den: by tributing my summoned Clock Spartoi I can destroy 1 card on the field, so your face down card is a sitting duck!
Shiro's Facedown is destroyed.
Den: Now for the finale, Transcode Attack Shiro Directly!
Transcode charges up a shot from it's rifle as it fires. Knocking Shiro Down
Shiro Harada LP: (1500) - 2300 = 0
Announcer: And the winner of the first duel is Den Kishinami and he moves on to the next round!
Jin: He won!
Kira: Alright Kishinami!
Den leaves the stage from his victory against Shiro Harada.
What he didn't know was that someone was watching him.
