Atem X Reader -- Polaroid (PART TWO of Snapshot)
So...
Sup peeps.
I had a couple people ask me to make a part two of my first Character X Reader, so...
And by that, I actually mean a couple (Two people).
SO
BAM.
Here you go, my failed second attempt at writing a Character X Reader!

You could feel your hand bleeding.
But you weren't quite able to tear your eyes away from the crimson ones staring at you in shock.
Was that guilt you saw?
Ha! It was far too late for guilt.
Especially from him.
So instead of shrieking and breaking out in tears like you wanted to, you narrowed your eyes.
You gave him the most poisonous smile you had ever mustered, and then you raised your old polaroid camera.
Click.
The picture printed out from your camera as you swiftly stood up.
Another one for the books, you thought wryly.
You brushed past him and female on his arm.
It looked as though he was going to reach out to grab you for a moment. Part of you wished he would, but the other part knew you would push him away even if you didn't want to.
You hated cheating.
You refused to be the other person.
As you left the cafe, you could feel his crimson eyes following you. You kept your composure as you rounded a corner.
You needed to get home. You needed to cry.
You started walking, doing everything you could to keep your mind from drifting to the moment from earlier.
She was beautiful, foreign girl, it wasn't exactly difficult to figure out why he was with her.
What was I thinking? I will never be able to live up to his standards.
You shook your head, clearing your thoughts. You had to get home before you broke down sobbing in the middle of the street.
Another two streets, then you're home. Almost there.
You fumbled for your house key as you approached you house.
You had bought this not too long ago.
Pay at the job you worked was decent, and you weren't an excessive spender, so it was simple enough to get a house.
I wonder, does he have a place to stay, or is he living with his parents?
You smiled, thinking of his family. I should go visit them sometime, Yugi must be in senior year by now.
You stepped into your house, and locked the door behind you.
Kicking off your shoes, you went to your bathroom and cleaned up and bandaged your hand, hissing a few times as you dug a shard of glass out. .
When you were satisfied you wouldn't bleed to death, you headed to the one room that was most important to you.
The room.
The room was a place where you stored pieces of your life.
You closed the door behind you and slid down it until you were resting against it, facing the rest of the room.
Hung up on the walls were moments of your life. All of them were attached by a string.
You felt a tear roll down your cheek as you looked at the empty holders. Reaching into your messenger bag, you pulled out your photo album.
Maybe it was time you stopped dwelling on the past.
Maybe it was time to let him go.
You stood up, silently sobbing. Clutching the photo album in your hands, you walked to the first opening.
You took out an image and slid it into the clear plastic holder. An image of a boy searching for his dog.
Then in the next empty space, you placed an image of yourself with a pair of nearly identical brothers.
You kept going.
An image of the glass heart chain, the one which was caused you hand to bleed.
A picture of him and his friend, the first girlfriend he had while he knew you.
An image of the same girl sleeping with someone else.
A picture of his second girlfriend, the one who told him to find someone better.
Various pictures of his girlfriends and boyfriends after that.
You and your first boyfriend.
Then you and him at graduation.
You continued putting photos back in their rightful holders.
And then finally; the picture you had taken that morning.
The timeline was complete.
You sighed, and wiped your tears away. You took one look around the timeline, and then you smiled.
He wasn't everything...
You still had some other amazing friends, like Yugi.
And you still had a lot of photo holders left.
You still had a life to live.
So you left the timeline room, and put your shoes back on.
You picked up your camera and a small photo album and put them in your messenger back.
And you left your house.
You took more pictures, putting them in your photo album.
And as you passed the crimson-eyed man you had once loved on the streets.
You smiled at him.
A kindly smile.
And you let him fade into the background.
You let the person you had once loved become a stranger.
