(A/N): Hello my spooky duelist~! I know it's been two weeks but, I was busy with work here and there so I got some time to write again! Halloween is in a couple of weeks! I can't wait for it! So I am gonna make some of my stories based on Halloween for this month and a little after, more fun for me! ;) Okay, I know I write A LOT about my OC's and did one X reader so I'm gonna add more X reader stories so it isn't just OC's and requested stories. :) Here is Yugi and he is ready to be in this spooky theme story! :D

Yugi: Ooh~! Halloween stories? Great! I hope no one is dressed as a clown this time...

Angel: I know right..? I hate them and never want to be close to one.

*Matt and Joey dressed as clowns* BOO!

Yugi and Angel: AH! *Smacks them with pie and books*

Joey and Matt: OW!

You're pov:

I was sitting at my desk, drawing ball gowns for a dance, not just any dance, THE Halloween Dance at Domino High! It's one of the BEST dances there ever! I always go with my friends, my three close friends, (B/F/N), (S/B/F/N) and Angel Knight (Gotta love Angel XD) Angel is really good with the colors for our costumes, make-up and hair. None of us have ever been with dates to ANY of the dances, all guys think we are weird and strange. I don't think we are because I like to think we are too cool for them.

I love to draw in my free time, by free time I meant all the time. I stay in my room most of the time because my mom and dad are always gone so it's just me but, I guess that changed when my friends moved in with me. They never leave my house, I don't mind it. I do miss my mom and dad a lot, every time I call them, they won't pick up. They won't even answer their texts messages I send them and they don't even answer they're Facebook messages.. I guess they're too busy working to even see how I'm doing. I'm not gonna worry about them, I got ball gowns to get ready!

~Time Skip~

Well, the dresses are done in time today, the dance is in a couple of weeks and we cannot wait to go dancing in these bad boys! These colors that Angel picked for us are perfect! Can't wait to wear it along with the masks she made for us, I wonder what everyone is gonna dress up as.. I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear any of my friends calling my name, next thing I knew, I walked into something kinda hard.. "Ow.." I look at what I walked into and it turned out to be a wall... "Great.. Just my luck.." I rub my nose as my friends ran up to me to see if I am okay, "(y/n)! Are you okay?!" (b/f/n) ask me with concern in her tone, "Yeah, I'm okay. Nothing to worry about!" I smile at her and she sighs in relief.

Angel and (s/b/f/n) were glaring at something, I was about to ask when I saw Bakura and Marik walking towards us but, it looked like there is two other guys with them, I don't know who they are but, from the looks on Angel and (s/b/f/n), they know them. "Hey, girls, how are ya pretty ladies?" Chills went down my spine, Bakura's voice does that to me a lot and not in a good way.. (b/f/n) looks like she's ready to beat them if they don't leave, "Bakura, leave us alone." Angel crossed her arms as she tells them off, I was standing next to (b/f/n) with (s/b/f/n) and Angel standing up to the males. Marik smirked at her, along with Bakura and the other two guys, "Aw, come on, babe~! Don't be like that." Marik got closer to Angel, bad move on his part.. Angel and (s/b/f/n) grabbed us and shoved pass the males who only smirked as they kept watching us..

We went to a cafe to get something to eat, we know Tea works today so it will be great to see her. After all she is my big sister and Angel's close friend who happens to be best friends with my crush, Yugi. I really like him a lot, he's very sweet, thoughtful and best of all, his hair is really cool. That's how I met him but, we aren't close nor we can call ourshelves friends when we never hung out before.. I wish I could get to know him, he's just the sweetest guy in the whole school too! I felt someone tapped me on my head, I snapped my head up to see who it was and it was my sister Tea, I noticed my friends weren't sitting down with me anymore, I turned my head to face my sister, "Hey sis, what's up?" Tea looked at me with a sly smile, "Well, you were day dreaming, again. They left when they saw someone with really cool came in and saw you sitting with everyone." I blush at her words, "W-what are you talking about?" Tea smirks at me, "Yugi is here and you're friends left so you guys could get to know each other better. Yugi felt bad for not trying to be you're friend due to being busy with Battle City duelists." I nodded, feeling a bit shy, "So, when does he want to talk to me?" I ask her, she smiles sweetly, "Right now, we're all here today so head over there, okay?" I nodded and got up to see where Yugi is, I look around to see Yugi's friends waving at me, "Over here, (y/n)!" I walk over and smile at them.

I know Yugi's friends from seeing them dueling or at school. I smile at them who smile back, "Nice to see ya again, (y/n)!" I smile at Joey, I know him a little bit and have talked with him here and there while waiting on our teachers to get to our classrooms. "Hey, Joey. Nice to see you out and about then being in the school." Joey chuckles while he rubs the back of his neck with a grin on his face. His friend, Tristan smiles kindly, "Joey talks about a friend he has in class but, never gets the chance to hang out with. He didn't mention to us that it's the same girl who thought our best friend's hair was super cool." I blush, feeling a bit shy, "Y-yeah, I never seen anyone with hair like that. I think it's really cool and it looks good on him." I smile, feeling good about giving out my compliments about Yugi's hair.

I took my seat who happens to be right next to Yugi. I smile at him who blushes and looks down, I guess he's a little shy around other girls but, who knows. I look at Joey and Tristan who seem to be grinning, kinda creeping me out.. "Um, why are you guys grinning..?" I ask them and they keep grinning, "No reason. Yuge here is a little shy around really pretty girls." Joey tells me right in front of Yugi, I blush bright red as the two jokers chuckle, "W-well, I wouldn't say that but, thanks, Joey." I smile at him and Yugi speaks up, "H-hey, (y/n). Sorry for not speaking, they are right. I'm a little shy around new people." I nodded, "It's okay, glad I get to hang out with you."

Yugi's pov:

I saw (y/n) smile at me, I'm glad I get to hang out with her, she seems really nice and friendly. I fell really hard for her when she said my hair is really cool. No one has ever said that to me, it felt nice to hear that compliment coming from her. "Maybe we can hang out at my place, (y/n). It would be nice to hang out alone without these two jokers." I pointed to Joey and Tristan who just smirk at me, oh boy.. "Sure, Yugi. I'd love to hang out. When do you want to hang out?" (y/n) ask me, I blush as I say this to her, "Maybe later today. We can hang out with our friends and go from there." She smiles sweetly at me, "Sounds perfect, Yugi." I blush as I smile to myself, knowing she said yes to me.

~Time Skip~

After a few hours of talking and getting to know (y/n), she's really who I thought she is. Nice, kind, sweet, and thoughtful. She loves games, Duel Monsters, etc. I really really like her, I wonder if she feels the same way as me.. I hope so because I want to ask her out but, it's hard when she might not feel that way. I'll have to take that risk, maybe I can tell her later this evening. I know a way to win her heart or to make her like me more. That would be nice to see her smile brightly at me every time she's with me.

It's been a few hours, we left the cafe, Joey and Tristan went over to Duke's place to hang out, leaving me with (y/n) to myself, finally. I'm glad it's just us, I really want to tell her my feelings, I have always seen her around, she's nice and close friends with Angel. I always see her with Joey, I felt jealous because I wanted to talk to her but, after I met her in the halls about my hair, I never got her number to keep in touch nor asking her to hang out later because she was in a hurry.. I'm glad I got this chance, I hope we can hang out.

We reached my house, I open the doors and showed her where me and my grandpa live. "Wow! You live above you're own shop?!" I smile, "Yeah, we do." "That's so cool!" She takes her seat on the sofa, sitting her bag down and putting it under the coffee table. All of a sudden Yami spoke up, making me jump, "Y-yami!" I whisper yell at him who just smirks at me, "Well, looks like you got the girl of you're dreams here but, have you asked her out yet?" I shock my head 'no' at his question, "No, not yet. I hope to ask her out soon." Yami nods and disappears back into the puzzle. I sit down with (y/n), turned on the t.v to find a movie to watch.

After couple of hours, we started to get hungry. Time to bring out the big guns! ..Okay.. never letting Joey talked me into talking like him again.. Anyways, my plan is to win her heart is by cooking. Girls like a guy who can cook, right? I hope she likes my cooking, all my friends think I'm a good cook. I have to help out my Grandpa out with something, I don't mind helping out in the store but, I also help out around the house everyday so cooking is my main thing in this house. "Hey, Yugi." I hum at (y/n) saying my name, "Yeah?" I turn to look at her, "This has been nice Yugi, really it has." I smile a little bit, "It has, I'm having a really great time, (y/n)." (y/n) gives me a sad smile, oh no.. I know where this is heading.. "But, I have to go home. My.. family will be waiting for me if I don't get home soon.." That was a little strange, I could ask her if things are okay at home but, that might sound weird but, no harm if I ask her. "Is everything okay at home, (y/n)? I hope they won't get mad at you for hanging out with me.." (y/n) freaks out, seeing me kinda pouting, "N-no! That's not it at all, Yugi. They just worry about me but, it's just my friends who live with me.." I look at her, "You're mom and dad aren't there?" She shock her head 'no', "No, they have been away for a few weeks for work but, I never hear from them. I check in on Facebook to see how they are doing. They get on and post things but, never talk to me.."

I felt sad after hearing her story. I guess it's a little hard for her to deal with, she must miss them and yet, they act like she doesn't even matter! "(y/n), I'm sorry you're going through with this but, just so you know, you have great friends and a family that lov- I mean here for you. Why not stay and have dinner with me and my Grandpa? I'll be cooking, everyone loves my cooking." (y/n) smiles at me, "I'd love to, Yugi." I smile and was about to get up when I was being pulled into a hug, "Thank you, Yugi. That means a lot to me." I blush bright red but, I hug her back, "You're welcome, (y/n). Now, how do you feel about Tex Mix?" (y/n) looks at me with a smile on her face, "Sounds perfect, Yugi." I smile, "Great, I'll go get started. You sit and relax okay?" She nods and stays where she's at.

~Time Skip~

Dinner is done and (y/n) looks happy to try my cooking. I'm glad she's enjoying herself, my Grandpa seems to like her. My Grandpa went into his room for the night, giving me and (y/n) more alone time. )Y/n) check her phone and almost choked on her food, "Man! It's getting late..! Yugi, thank you for dinner and spending time with me but, I have to go. I can't leave my friends at my house.." I looked down but, saw it was late and it's not safe out there at night. "It's not safe out there at night, (y/n)." She stops in her tracks, "Y-you're right.. But-" "No 'buts' I think it's best if you stay the night here, (y/n)." She seem to blush but, smiles a bit, "You wouldn't mind would you?" I smile kindly at her, "I don't mind at all, (y/n)." She smiles and goes back to eating her meal.

After dinner was done I was about to take the dishes but, (y/n) grabs them. Her hand brushes against my skin and I blush a bit, it felt soft. I wish I could hold her hand.. "Let me get these for you, Yugi. You worked hard on this dinner you made for me and you're Gandpa." "I don't mine, I can wash them." I was about to take them from her when she went into the kitchen, "This is the least I can do for you. I am staying the night and I want to help." She smiles at me. Her smile is so pretty too, like her (e/c) eyes that shine like stars, her (h/l) (h/c) looks really pretty in the sun light. Maybe I can ask her now. I hope she says yes.. Here I go!

"Hey, (y/n)?" She hums, "Yes, Yugi?" I took my chances, I hope she says yes, "Can I tell you something?" She nods, "Yes, you can." I look her in the eyes and took her hand, "I didn't want to tell you this because I'm scared you might not feel the same way but, I'm taking this risk and even if you don't feel the same, I still want to be friends.." She was blushing a light shade of pink, "(y/n), I have been crushing on you for a while now.. Before we met in the halls, I always had a crush on you but, never thought I would have the chance to get to know you. I thought you had a boyfriend but, turned out you weren't dating anyone.. My friends are in all of you're classes, I'm in one of them but, after the hallway with my hair, I wanted to get to know you so maybe I could ask you out.." (y/n) face is even more pink, close to being red, she doesn't looked like she's gonna run.

"I hope you don't think I was being weird or anything.. I had never fallen so hard for anyone in life before.. I'm shy, I'm not tall, I'm not prince looking type of guy but, I want to make you happy, I have fallen for you and I hope you feel the same way.." Our eyes were still locked with each others, she didn't say anything, I felt sad and hurt.. "Yugi.." I look up at her to say anything but, before I could she hugged me, "I feel the same way too, Yugi.." I blush bright red, "I always had a crush on you. I'm glad you feel the same way too." I hugged her back as I felt so happy. We pulled away to look at each other, "Will you be my girlfriend, (y/n)?" She smiles at me, "Yes, Yugi!" I lean in to kiss her lips, as I did, she did as well and we both kissed for a few minutes. We pulled away to look at each other but, we kissed again but, a little bit deeper, I placed my hands on her waist as she wraps her hands around my neck, playing with my hair. After what felt like forever, we pulled away for air as we looked into each others eyes and smile, "Let's get this done and go cuddle on the sofa. "(y/n) smiles, "Sounds good to me, Yugi." We both went to do the dishes, as we got done, we went to the sofa and cuddled with each other till we fell asleep.
