(A/N) Hey everyone this is a new story and in loving memory of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park </3 I love the band so much, I have listen to them since they're first hit! I was a little girl at the time but, like I said, I grew up listening to the band. Castle Of Glass is one of the songs I really love the most, you'll see some of the words from the lyrics of the song. BTW: My family irl is FAR beyond changing me or any of my 3 siblings. It's all a sad backstory to fit my OCs. Also not a lover story, these two do not hook up, it's a best friend story line so I hope you guys enjoy it.

Angel's pov:

I was sitting down eating some pizza when I heard on the news that the leader singer of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington had died.. "What?!" I was shocked and sad, their songs would make me feel better when I was down or when no one understood me. I hear my phone go off and see Joey sent a text, telling me what was on the news. Joey likes that kind of music because he's not really into pop songs as much, he's a guy so yeah. I text Joey right back.

Joey: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!

Me: That really sucks! And what makes it worse is we BOUGHT tickets to see them!!! TT^TT

Joey: YEAH!! Now we can't go see them live...!! UGH! We spent that money so we could go but, now we lost that money.. >.<

Me: Yeah, I worked hard to get that much money for the whole trip! Well, what do you wanna do?

Joey: I don't know, wanna hang out at the mall? Money bags and them will be there, we can go see a movie too!

Me: GREAT! Sounds good to me. I'll meet up with you guys at the mall! Later best pup!

Joey: I'M NOT A PUP! XP

Me: Sure, sure, sure, whatever you say pup. ;D

Joey: Just get ready, girly! -_-

Me: :P

With that, I went up into my room to get clean up, get dressed and head towards the mall. I put on Linkin Park's song Castle Of Glass, hop in the shower and started to sing the lyrics.

As I was singing the last part, I turned off the water, dried off and got dressed in my grey crop tank top, black jeans with two belts on, one black belt normally worn and a white belt kinda hanging off on my right side while buckled in two loops, black high tops, a base ball hat with Linkin Park's logo on it and a necklace with a red gem hanging. I took a good look in the mirror, added eyeliner and a little bit of blush. I don't wear a whole lot of make up nor do I need a lot of it. I grabbed my keys to my Jeep and headed off to the mall where Joey and the rest of my friends are.

~Time Skip~

No one's pov:

Angel just parked her Jeep, she did everything a good driver would do, she locked her doors and head towards the front doors to the mall. Angel walked in, the first thing she saw was the chairs people sit when they are tired from walking around the mall, the food court was right in front of her so she had to walk around everyone to make sure she didn't bump into anyone, knocking over food that could land on her, on the person or on the floor.

Angel was by the chairs where Joey said they would be but, none of them were there at the location Joey had told Angel to meet them. "They're not here? Am I the first one? I must be since no one is here yet, I should wait here for them." Angel said to herself softly so no one could hear her, Angel sighed and took a seat in one of the chairs. This was the only place in the mall with these awesome seats were, yeah they are a lot of them everywhere but, this was like a relaxing area for those who were tired or waiting for someone.

20 minutes went by, no sign of Joey or anything one else. Angel looked all ways and saw no one anywhere. A hour went by and still no one showed up, Angel went to the food court to get something to eat and drink. No one showed up still so Angel finished her meal she got at Subway, threw it away and started to walk around the mall.

Angel's pov:

I got tired of waiting on my friends so I went to go in stores I like even went in stores to look around. I saw the chocolate store so I went in to get more of their yummy treats, I went in but, when I did I saw Seto, Yami, Duke, Marik and Tea. I smiled but, wondered why they didn't text me even after I sent a text to Joey where they were but, got no reply. I took a few steps till I heard Seto saying something that shocked me, "Should we let Angel know we are here? I'm sure she's waiting on us." Seto asked one of them, Yami and Tea looked at him and sighed, "We did see her family. Looks like her brother and younger sister miss Angel and Matt. They're mom and dad said really awful things about Angel, you know how her mom and dad are towards her."

What's gotten into my own mom and dad?! I mean yeah I deal with some stuff, okay, A LOT of stuff... Yami spoke up, along with Duke who seem to stand up for me, "I know, it wasn't right of them to say those things." "But to answer you're question Kaiba, Joey was the one who asked her to join so he needs to be the one to text her back." Yami explains to Seto, Tea nods in agreement and Duke looks down. "I don't think Angel should be here if her mom and dad are here. I'm sure she wants to see her brother and baby sister though." Duke says in a sad but, calm tone of voice. I left the store and headed towards Hot Topic to cheer myself up, finding out you're own mom and dad say things about you isn't the best feeling in the world. I walked in and started to look at some Anime shirts.

Joey's pov:

I saw Angel walk into the store she loves, I followed her in there to see what's wrong. I have no bars in the mall so that wasn't good at all..! I hope she isn't mad at me, she's a beast when she's pissed off... I ran into her family who were making fun of her and saying things that they shouldn't say about her. She's a great duelist and a great person and my best friend in the whole world! We like a lot of the same stuff, we get along just great, it makes the other guys jealous.

I walk in and looked at her looking at Anime shirts, I walked up right behind her and picked her up, "HIYA!!" I yelled in a cheerier tone, she screamed a bit, "Ah! What the- JOEY?!" "Yep! What's up, Sunshine?" I still had her in my arms, I treat her like a sister. She's always so much fun to mess with and to pull pranks on people like our friends expect for some of them. "Joey, you can put me down now." Angel has her head turned towards me with a smile on her face, she's very sweet to all of us, treats us like family and is always there for us when we need her. "I could but, you're like a little sister to me, so no!" I grin at her and she sighed, I put her down and we went to look around the store. We ended up buying some cool stuff and we went to other stores as well, we saw her brother, Ross and her baby sister, Lucy. Angel saw them and ran straight towards them.

Angel's pov:

I saw my brother Ross and baby sister Lucy! I haven't seen them in a few weeks due to mom and dad's dumbass rules about seeing us and spending time with us! They weren't allow to be around us, play Duel Monsters and weren't even allow to do anything that me and Matt do! It wasn't right and wasn't fair at all, I wish I could tell my mom and dad they need to chill out and let them be like normal kids but, nope.

They have to make sure they are just like our mom and dad which isn't cool at all. I was running towards them, I hugged them tightly and they hugged me back, "Oh god! We miss you and Matt so much sis!" Lucy tells me in a sad voice that makes my heart break, "Yeah, things at home are awful, we can't even watch you two duel without mom and dad watching us all the time!" Ross was mad at our mom and dad, they never understood me, neither did my first dad who doesn't want me around at all. I remember I just bought them some stuff, "Oh, here are some gifts for you guys!" I smile and handed them the gifts. Ross opened his first, he gasp at what he saw, it was a Toon Red Eyes Black Dragon, with a hoodie and a hat with the same dragon on it, a couple of shirts he likes and a cool necklace to go with anything. Lucy opened her's as well, she screamed when she saw the cute Duel Monsters stuff I got her, a cute pink hat, a cute top to go with her necklaces and skirts to wear all the time. "Thanks sis!" Both said in unison that was till I saw my mom and dad who looked pissed at me for doing something nice for them...

Joey's pov:

I saw her mom and dad walking up to them, I know they are gonna yell at her for doing something nice for them, I mean she isn't even allowed to see them because she's following her dreams! I don't wanna pull her away from them, I know how much they mean to her but, I don't want her mom yelling at her just because she's hugging them.. I was about to pull her to me and walk away, her mom snapped at her in front of everyone!

"What did I tell you?! You are not ALLOWED to be near them!" I flinch from her yelling, 'Damn..!' I said in my head, I wanted to say something but, I didn't want to get in the middle of it... "Mom, they are my brother and sister! You can't tell me-" "Not anymore! You left us to fullfill a stupid dream! When are you gonna grow up and act like an adult like you should be?!" Angel looked very hurt, I noticed the guys coming up and they heard the worse thing that hurt Angel the most... "Those so called 'Friends' of your's had turned you into someone who we don't approve of! We want our kids to be normal with normal jobs living a life like ours, not playing a game that is for toddlers!" Angel's dad yells at her, I see Angel about to cry, that's it! I've had enough of this shit! "Hey! You can't talk to her like that! So what if she wants to do something different?! No one is gonna be like they're mom or dad, Angel loves Duel Monsters since they first came out! People of all ages play and it's a lot of fun, you tell her she isn't allowed to see her siblings but, they miss her but, you keep them away from her because you two are scared of what they want to do when they grow up! We are her true friends and we will always be her friends!" I yell back at them and Yami and the rest stood up against them.

No one's pov:

Angel's family left with a pissed off look on they're faces, Angel hugged her friends tightly, mostly her best friend Joey. "Thanks guys...I'm sorry I dragged you all into it..." Angel said in a sad voice, Joey hugged her and Yami did too while rubbing her back gently, "It's okay, we wanted to help plus, they already got us into it so don't worry about it." Yami says in his calm tone of voice, Joey nodded and they all went to go around the mall again, talking about every day things till Bakura spoke up, "So did you hear about Chester Bennington?" "Already knew, Fluff." Joey answered back, "Yeah.." Angel answered back as well, after they talked about it, they went the movies and watched Wonder Women
