Vade does not stay long as the lights in the duel field go out with some fog and after the fog dissipates, Vade disappears.

Kaiba: What...did we just witness?

Joey: If it isn't clear, Ryu lost and Vade somehow was able to win. 

Jack: If anything, Vade won in the same way as Ryu. Uncharacteristic for one who wields God-tier cards or close to it.

Joey: Ryu has nothing to be ashamed of. At least he was able to ensure Vade did not completely massacre him. 

Kaiba: Emergency Provisions proided that last gasp or else Ryu would advance

Jack: Well, now that the field is cleared. We can now say, Vade has advanced to the Semi finals
