Joey: Well, we will find out the other 2 duels to come but right now, thanks to a challenge made from last episode, we have Cobalt v. Mahad... and this will not be pretty at all.

Jack: A reintroduction as Vade calls it. This will be one to see if Mahad gives in or if he can still stand on his own

Announcer: The following is a Ranked Duel!

https://youtu.be/kMxTT__-wd4

Announcer: Making his reintroduction, Cobalt! (Rank 16; Record 1-2)

Joey: Holy ....

Jack: This is...quite unbelievable.

Kaiba: Rumored to now be powered and even don the armor of Obelisk the Tormentor. We shall see if this man once known to be an equip strategist has indeed earned the trust of the Tormentor

Joey: Well, this will be interesting

https://youtu.be/tG-7RutsoEk

Announcer: And his opponent, Mahad! (Rank 22; Record: 0-3)

Joey: Well, if this will be the last we see him like this, he will give it his all

Kaiba: Oh yes, that wager. Vade is watching from behind Cobalt and this will not be an easy duel

Jack: Now I ask you gentlemen as you've faced these gods. In your case Seto, wielded one. Can he beat Obelisk?

Kaiba: This is a matter of if he can get Obelisk out. Otherwise, no doubt there will be a fighting chance for Mahad

Announcer: Let the duel, begin!

Turn 1 (Cobalt 8000/ Mahad 8000)
Cobalt Main Phase 1
Cobalt: Now due to its effect as I control no monsters, I special summon in Attack position Kaiser Vorse Raider (DARK/5*/Beast-Warrior/ATK1900/DEF1200)

Kaiba: A powerful version of Vorse Raider!

Cobalt: I set a monster and end my turn

Turn 2 (Cobalt 8000/ Mahad 8000)
Mahad draws a card

Joey: If anything, he must make sure Cobalt does not have 3 monsters on the field. That is the first requirement before any of the 3 God Cards can be summoned

Mahad Main Phase 1
Mahad: I activate a Spell Card, Swords of Revealing Light. After this card's activation, it remains on the field, but I must destroy it during the End Phase of my opponent's 3rd turn. When this card is activated: If my opponent controls a face-down monster, it flips all monsters they control face-up. Also, while this card is face-up on the field, my opponent's monsters cannot declare an attack. Facedown reveal please.

Cobalt: - flips the facedown he has - Nimble Momonga (EARTH/2*/Beast/Effect/ATK1000/DEF100).

Mahad: Hmmm... should I risk it? Then I summon Destroyer Golem (EARTH/4*/Rock/Normal/ATK1500/DEF1000) and set 1 card facedown to move to Battle Phase

Battle Phase
Mahad: I destroy your Nimble Momonga (DEF100) with Destroyer Golem (ATK1500)

Nimble Momonga is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard

Cobalt: Fool! Nimble Momonga's effect activates. First I gain 1000LP

(Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 8000)

Cobalt: Next, I can Special Summon ANY number of Nimble Momongas I have in my deck in facedown Defense Position. I choose my 2 Nimble Momongas for this effect

Mahad End Phase
Mahad: I end my turn

Turn 3 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 8000)
Cobalt draws a card

Cobalt's Main Phase 1
Cobalt: I shall ride you of those swords. I activate a Spell Card, Harpie's Feather Duster. I destroy all Spells and Traps my opponent controls!

Swords of Revealing Light and Mahad's facedown Two-Pronged Attack Trap Card are both destroyed

Kaiba: That is quite careless

Jack: But he dispatches Swords of Revealing Light so that should be good.

Cobalt: I summon Bazoo the Soul-Eater (EARTH/4*/Beast/Effect/ATK1600/DEF900) and I move to Battle Phase

Battle Phase
Cobalt: I attack Destroyer Golem (ATK1500) with Kaiser Vorse Raider (ATK1900)

Kaiba: He is not gonna win defensively against someone without Obelisk just yet

Turn 5 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 6000)

Kaiba: I feel this will be long. If anything, if you wield the power of the gods, you won't want the duel to end without that God Card showing up

Battle Phase
Cobalt: I attack that facedown monster with Kaiser Vorse Raider (ATK2400)

Kaiser Vorse Raider (ATK2400) attacks Mahad's facedown Tsukuyomi (DARK/4*/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK1100/DEF1400). Tsukuyomi is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard.

Mahad: Tsukuyomi's effect activates. Once it is flipped face-up, I can flip 1 face-up monster into face-down Defense Position. I choose your Bazoo [the Soul-Eater]

Bazoo the Soul-Eater has been flipped into face-down Defense Position

Cobalt: Kaiser Vorse Raider's effect activates. When it destroys a monster by battle, its ATK increases by 500 points
Kaiser Vorse Raider's ATK (2400 -> 2900

Cobalt: I end my turn

Mahad: Tsukuyomi's effect activates. Once it is flipped face-up, I can flip 1 face-up monster into face-down Defense Position. I choose your Bazoo [the Soul-Eater]

Bazoo the Soul-Eater has been flipped into face-down Defense Position

Cobalt: Kaiser Vorse Raider's effect activates. When it destroys a monster by battle, its ATK increases by 500 points
Kaiser Vorse Raider's ATK (2900 -> 3400)

Cobalt: I end my turn

Turn 8 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 6000)
Mahad draws a card

Main Phase 1
Mahad: I activate a Spell Card, Nobleman of Crossout. I destroy 1 face-down monster and remove it from play. If the monster is a Flip Effect Monster, both players check their respective Decks and remove all monsters of the same name from play then shuffle the Decks. I select that monster on the far right on your field!

Cobalt: You just sent Bazoo the Soul-Eater out of play.

Mahad: Both of us shuffle our decks then

Both duelists shuffle their decks due to Nobleman of Crossout.

Mahad: I end my turn

Kaiba: The attack is greater than even Blue-Eyes!

Joey: We may not be seeing the god just yet

Turn 10 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)
Mahad draws a card

Mahad: I set a card and end...my turn. Finish me off why don't you!

Cobalt: You do not decide when it ends. I do!

Turn 11(Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)
Cobalt draws a card

Main Phase 1
Cobalt: I end my turn. Orders from the higher being....

Mahad: Oh, you mean Vade?

Cobalt: You know not who that is

Turn 12 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)
Mahad draws a card

Mahad: I set a card and end my turn

Joey: Cobalt should have ended him a turn or 2 ago!

Kaiba: This is a travesty but I get why there is a need to prolong this. For someone who wields or supposedly wield a powerful card, they'll be wielding them now and unleash the power.

Turn 13(Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)
Cobalt draws a card

Cobalt: I end my turn.

Turn 14 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)

Turn 19(Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)

Cyber Dragon attacks  the facedown Peten the Dark Clown (DARK/3*/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK500/DEF1200) and sends it to the Graveyard

Turn 22 (Cobalt 9000/ Mahad 2600)
Mahad draws a card

Mahad: I summon Breaker the Magical Warrior (DARK/4*/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK1600/DEF1000).

Kaiba: Is he aware he is still overpowered?

Mahad: I activate its effect...

Cobalt: I activate a Quick Play Spell Card, Forbidden Chalice.

Joey: Woah!

Cobalt: I target 1 Face-up monster and until the end of this turn, the target gains 400ATK but its effects are negated

Due to Forbidden Chalice
Breaker the Magical Warrior ATK (1600 -> 2000); Effect negated

Kaiba: He still won't over power...wait!

Mahad: I proceed with my Battle Phase and attack one of your facedown monsters. The one between Kaiser Vorse Raider and Cyber Dragon!

Breaker the Magical Warrior (ATK2000) attacks Cobalt's facedown Nimble Momonga (EARTH/2*/Beast/Effect/ATK1000/DEF100)

Cobalt 10000/ Mahad 2100

Cobalt: I end my turn

Joey: He has 4 monsters. We all know what that 1 facedown is. If I were Mahad, I'd be wiping out that field.

Kaiba: Easier said than done

Turn 24 (Cobalt 10000/ Mahad 2100)
Mahad draws a card

Cobalt: You, who deny your destiny. You who seek higher power must realize that you are merely a vessel of a Higher Power.

Mahad: No....

Kaiba: It may be that Mahad has a bad hand and is unable to find a way out.

Jack: But what astounds me is that earlier, this could have ended.

Joey: Again, Jack, gods are involved.

Turn 25 (Cobalt 10000/ Mahad 2100)
Cobalt draws a card

Cobalt's Main Phase 1
Cobalt: It's time I end this and for you to realize destiny in wanting the power you seek under the Spirit of Vengeance

Jack: What is he talking about?

Kaiba: - stern - it's coming

Cobalt: I sacrifice Cyber Dragon to Tribute Summon Gizmek Makami, The Ferocious Fanged Fortress (WIND/6*/Machine/Effect/ATK2150/DEF2150).

Joey: Okay, so a slightly stronger version of Cyber Dragon...

Mahad: What difference does that make?

Cobalt: You shall see. Gizmek Makami has an effect. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, I can discard 1 monster to add 1 monster whose ATK equals its own DEF from my Deck to my Hand.

Jack: Wait a minute, there are a ton of monsters. What monster possibly falls under...oh no..

Kaiba: Now you get it, Atlas?

Cobalt: I discard Mare Mare (WATER/7*/Wyrm/Tuner/Effect/ATK2100/DEF1400) to  add from the Deck, Obelisk the Tormentor!

Mahad: That was a normal summon. Take note, God Cards cannot be Special Summoned. You should know that!

Cobalt: Then you are about to be surprised by this. I reveal from my hand Gizmek Uka, The Festive Fox of Fecundity (EARTH/7*/Machine/Effect/ATK2250/DEF2250) in order to special summon from the hand, Angel O1 (LIGHT/1*/Fairy/Effect/ATK200/DEF300)

Mahad: I thought you were gunning for a God. What is that?

Cobalt: I suggest you silence yourself. Your hands and your monsters no longer support you. Since I control this Special Summoned card, I can Tribute Summon 1 Level 7 or higher monster in Attack Position during my Main Phase in addition to my Normal Summon/Set. That being said, I sacrifice Angel O1, my facedown Nimble Momonga and my facedown Unmasked Dragon (FIRE/3*/Wyrm/Effect/ATK1400/DEF1100), to Tribute Summon, Obelisk the Tormentor! (DIVINE/10*/Divine-Beast/Effect/ATK4000/DEF4000)

Joey: No way!

Jack: That is one of the 3 God Cards.....

Kaiba: Obelisk...has returned...

Cobalt Battle Phase
Cobalt: I strike down Peten the Dark Clown (DEF1200) with Gizmek Makami, The Ferocious Fanged Fortress (ATK2150).

Peten the Dark Clown is destroyed by battle

Cobalt: Now... feel the wrath of God. Obelisk the Tormentor direct attack! God Hand Crusher! (4000LP Damage to Mahad)

Cobalt 10000/ Mahad 0

Announcer: The winner...Cobalt!

Kaiba: What a win from Cobalt..

Joey: Such domination from Cobalt

Jack: Was that...the wrath of God?

Vade then appears as he sees Mahad collapsed facedown. Mahad's deck was discarded by Vade.

Vade: These cards are of no use to you....

Mahad's eyes shot open as he looked around and saw Vade and an approaching Cobalt come closer. Mahad removed the deck from his duel disk and he no longer saw the cards as they turned white.

Vade: It is time.... you meet the 3rd member of our triad

He said this and handed a card to Mahad as Vade smirked and began to raise both arms with hands wide open as the lights began to go on and off and once it went out, none of them were left in the duel field.

Kaiba: Uhh... we will be back.
