Jack: Both are cellar dwellers but at this rate, either need a win.

Joey: But fellas, the guy is on a mission and we have yet to see what he has in store and what he will deliver.

Kaiba: Yeah whatever but right now, we got our next duel set. Both duelists having yet to encounter a loss in their records but it will be Magnus and Duke.

Jack: We must remember Seto, bits of Pat's old aces are now in their decks. For Magnus, he inherited the Dark Magicians and as for Duke, the Gadgets and Gears.

Joey: We also saw a difference in how they got the cards. Magnus did not win their duel but Pat was impressed and saw heart. Duke just decimated Pat and we have yet to see him duel after that loss to Duke last time.

Kaiba: This can go either way but we may see a Blitz take place.

Magnus left the duel field while Duke stayed on with microphone in hand. Before he spoke, he was rained with a mix of cheers and jeers. Duke proceeded

Duke: I don't give a damn if you cheer for me or for the poor sap of a victim I just decimated in front of your eyes and humbled. *points at the camera* Irvine, you better keep that title warm because I am now hunting for that Duel League championship title and it is with great regret, that you're the one I have to beat down once more this time for that gold to go to the Duke of Destruction, Me! And just so out of gratitude, thanks Pathetic Pat. You got good cards, but you're not good enough to win with them when you faced me. And it shows! Magnus, who didn't even win but you hand him the Dark Magician cards couldn't even stand a chance or even mount any offense against me. *to the commentary area* And Mr. Kaiba I sure hope I entertained you to get me a title contendership shot because as you've seen, I am worthier of that title and your attention than any of these runts you all call duelists. Door's open folks. Open Season but good luck trying to get me a loss because I will be collecting wins at your expense. 

Magnus leaves the duel field but through the audience area just like his entrance.

Meanwhile at backstage
Pat was watching this through the screen as he nodded and was approached by Carly.

Carly: Pat, any words after what Duke just said?

Pat: Look, I know I tried to beat Duke, but I fell short. But this doesn't mean it's over. It's one loss, we slipped up back in the tournament, we had an impressive record going on but I know and they know *pointing to the fans* we still got this. 

Carly: I mean, compared to how your deck is now, it seems to now be missing a few vital pieces that...

Pat: Need I remind you, I'm a wild card. I don't finish opponents with one single card most of the time. I had duels I finished with either Dark Magician, Wave Motion Cannon or Ancient Gear Golem. Doesn't spell a difference how I win, but I make sure the duel stays in my pace. 

As he said this, Vade and his trio walk in with a newly hooded duelist in a crimson robe. 

Vade: You're lucky I have a match up next. But I have someone who has some unfinished business with you, *to the Crimson robed individual* make it quick. 

???: You! *points at Pat* You! You did this to me. You may no longer recall me as I am now clothed and empowered by a new spirit. A new calling! A new purpose in life. You knew me then as your first disciple, apprentice. But you used me. You needed me just to clean your name, to deodorize your reputation around these parts. Those days are OVER! When the time has come, as I have been shown the err of my ways, I will use the new power to end your falsities and now that you are without the Magician of Darkness or the Gear of the Ancient, you fall to the power of the Gods. 

The triad of Vade, Cobalt and the crimson-robed duelist left as Vade will make his way to the entrance way. Pat was left with Carly as he said

Pat: I've been faced with the impossible before, I slipped up once but I will ensure whatever "God" this Crimson-robed fellow has in his arsenal, he won't be wielding it out. *walks away*

Carly: We'll be right back.
