Kaiba: Welcome back and it is time for the Main Event! 

Jack: Gonna cut you off here because of possible bias. So it will be the Duel League Champion Irvine v. AK

Joey: Champion's advantage that he goes first.

Kaiba: Regardless, AK will be the 2nd duelist to beat the Duel League Champion, putting him in line of contention!

Kaiba: First time to see this.

Irvine: - smirks - Now I show you why I am the Duel League champion. Since I control 2 or more Cyberse types monsters on my field, I special summon Cyberse White Hat (LIGHT/6*/Cyberse/Effect/ATK1800/DEF2400).

Joey: He's showing you Kaiba. Don't mess with the Duel League Champion

Irvine: I still haven't normal summoned...hmm... oh, I summon Launcher Commander (EARTH/4*/Cyberse/Effect/ATK1700/DEF1200).

Kaiba: Full field

Jack: He can't be thinking....

Irvine: I activate a Continuous Spell Card, Cynet Recovery. And now, the real fun begins. I link Dual Assembwurm, Launcher Commander, and WIdget Kid to Link Summon, Encode Talker (LIGHT/Link Rating 3/Cyberse/Link/Effect/ATK2300).

Joey: A new Link Monster!

Irvine: I use Dotscaper as link material to Link Summon, Linkuriboh (DARK/Link Rating 1/Cyberse/Link/Effect/ATK300). I use Linkuriboh as Link Material to Link Summon Secure Gardna (LIGHT/Link Rating 1/Cyberse/Link/Effect/ATK1000). 

Kaiba: His Main Phase isn't over yet?!?

Irvine: I activate a Spell Card, Link Burst. I target 1 Link Monster I control and a Monster my opponent contorls and destroy them both to draw 1 card. I select Secure Gardna and Luster Dragon.

Secure Gardna and Luster Dragon are both destroyed and sent to the Graveyard.

Irvine: Due to Link Burst, I draw 1 card. And I also draw 1 card due to the effect of Supply Squad.

Irvine: Now I attack your Opticlops (ATK1800) with Encode Talker (ATK2300)

AK: Now I activate a Trap Card, Widespread Ruin. When an opponent's monster declares an attack, I can destroy the Attack Position monster my opponent controls with the Highest Attack. In this case, Encode Talker is destroyed!

Irvine: I activate the effect of Cynet Recovery. Whenever a Link Monster I control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effet, I can target 1 monster in my Graveyard except a Link Monster and Special Summon it in Defense Position. AK: Since you attacked it, Des Feral Imp's flip effect activates. I can target 1 card in my Graveyard and shuffle it back into the deck. I select, Sakuretsu Armor

Irvine: I activate a Trap Card, Recoded Alive. I can target 1 Link 3 Cyberse Link Monser in my control or Graveyard then banish it to speccial summon 1 Code Talker monster from my Extra Deck. I banish my Encode Talker (Link Rating 3) to Special Summon, Transcode Talker (EARTH/Link Rating 3/Cyberse/Link/Effect/ATK2300).

AK: Damned Replay... I won't continue the attack and end my turn

Irvine: I activate Texchanger's effect. I can negate an attack when a monster I control is targeted for an attack. I select from my hand, Suppression Collider in Attack Position (DARK/8*/Cyberse/Normal/ATK2800/DEF2600).

And Since I control a Cyberse monster, I special SUmmon Backup Secretary (LIGHT/3*/Cyberse/ATK1200/DEF800). I use Texchanger, Jester Confit and Bakcup Secretary as Link Material to Link Summon, Tri-Gate Wizard (EARTH/Link Rating 3/Cyberse/Link/Effect/ATK2200) and its effect activates depending on number of monsters co-linked to this card. Since it is co-linked with Transcode Talker, If a monster co-linked to this card battles you opponent's monster, any battle damage it inflicts to your opponent is doubled.

AK: Yeah but Transcode Talker cannot attack remember?

Irvine: Oh yes, but Transcode Talker's effect still activates. When this card is co-linked, it and its co-linked monsters gain 500 ATK and you cannot target any of them with card effects.

Irvine: I activate a Trap Card Ghosts from the Past. I banish 2 monsters from my Graveyard then target 1 Attack Position monster on the field then change its ATK to 0 until the end of the turn, I target Horus (ATK 2300-> 0) and banish Texchanger and Jester Confit

Irvine: Tri-Gate Wizard's effect activates. When a monster it is co-linked to battles an opponent's monster, any battle damage inflicted will be doubled (2100 x 2 = 4200LP damage to AK)

AK: I activate a Trap Card, Damage Gate, when I take battle damage, I target 1 monster in my Graveyard with ATK less than or equal to the amount of damage I took and special summon that Target. I select Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 (FIRE/6*/Dragon/Effect/ATK2300/DEF1600).

Irvine: I admire your guts but sadly, I did not see any Blue-Eyes come out. So here comes the end, I activate an Equip Spell CArd, D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation. I discard a card, which will  be Dark Hole, to Special Summon and equip this card to.... Encode Talker (LIGHT/Link Rating 3/Cyberse/Link/Effect/ATK2300). And since I positioned this next to Tri-Gate Wizard, it gains this effect, Once per turn, I can target 1 card on the field and Banish it. So I now banish Horus the Black FLame Dragon LV6

Irvine: I now attack with Tri-Gate Wizard (2700LP Damage to AK)

Jack: Nothing to be ashamed of with that. We saw how AK was able to delay the inevitable and beat back the challenge despite it all. 

Joey: That was still quite the showing. 

Kaiba: Guess he is the champion for all those times.

Jack: And we will have to cut it all off from there. Remember folks, next episode we have this card thus far
