Kaiba: No movements yet but we see some wins added to columns and losses in some cases but let's talk about the match to come. A Condition Duel. If Drake wins, he stays on. If he loses, then Duke will replace Drake but the record Drake leaves stays behind.

Joey: Well, this will be quite the duel. We see someone running a machine deck going against Elemental Heroes and Dragons. Who will reign supreme?

Jack: We shall see but now, we head to the announcer.

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, our opening duel is a condition duel! Should Drake lose, he will retire.

Announcer: First, Drake!

Joey: What feelings could he have right now?

Kaiba: I don't know. I've never been put in a spot like that. I'm no mongrel!

Jack: Let me tell you then. Fighting for his life and survival. All gambled away into this one duel against a newcomer who will take his spot if he is unable to fend him off.

Announcer: Making his Duel League debut, Duke!

Kaiba: Wow, what an entrance!

Joey: This man means business but we shall see what he brings to the duel

Jack: From what he said, bombardment and the horrors of war. What could he mean by this?

Kaiba: Only one way to find that out. Announcer, if you may.

Announcer: Let the duel begin!

Turn 1 (Drake 8000/ Duke 8000)
Drake's Main Phase 1

Drake: I summon Axe Dragonute (DARK/4*/Dragon/Effect/AKT2000/DEF1200) and end my turn

Jack: A strong monster as wall.

Joey: What could Duke have in mind

Turn 2 (Drake 8000/ Duke 8000)
Duke draws a card

Duke: I set a card and end my turn

Kaiba: For a loud talker, this one cannot do much

Turn 3 (Drake 8000/ Duke 8000)
Drake draws a card

Drake: I activate a Spell Card, Stamping Destruction. I destroy a Spell or Trap Card and deal 500 damage to the owner of the destroyed card. I destroy your facedown card, Duke!

Stamping Destruction destroys Duke's facedown Ties of the Bretheren (500LP damage to Duke)

Drake 8000/ Duke 7500

Drake: I attack directly with Axe Dragonute (2000LP damage to Duke)

Drake 8000/ Duke 5500

Drake: Axe Dragonute's effect activates. It switches to Defense Position after the Damage Step

Drake: I end my turn. It's gonna end quickly you punk!

Turn 4 (Drake 8000/ Duke 5500)
Duke draws a card

Duke: I set another card to end my turn

Joey: Does he know what he's doing?

Turn 5 (Drake 8000/ Duke 5500)
Drake draws a card

Drake: I summon, Armed Dragon Lv 3 (WIND/3*/Dragon/Effect/ATK1200/DEF900). Now I switch Axe Dragonute to attack position to attack directly once again!

Duke: All according to plan. I activate from my hand, Snow Plow Hustle Rustle. When my opponent's monster declares a direct attack, while I ccontrol a card in my Spell and Trap Zone, I can special summon this card from my hand then destroy as many cards in my Spell and Trap Card Zone as possible and inflict 200 damage to my opponent for each destroyed card. I special summon, Snow Plow Hustler Rustle in attack position (EARTH/10*/Machine/Effect/ATk2500/DEF3000). By its effect, I destroy my facedown Pot of Avarice to deal 200LP damage to you!

Drake 7800/ Duke 5500

Duke: So what will it be? Attack or stop?

Drake: I stop. I end my turn.

Turn 6 (Drake 7800/ Duke 5500)
Duke draws a card

Duke: I attack your Armed Dragon Lv3 (ATK1200) with Snow Plow Hustle Rustle (ATK2500)! (1300LP Damage to Drake; Armed Dragon Lv3 is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard)

Drake 6500/ Duke 5500

Joey: Wow! 1000LP away between these two.

Jack: Machines...is it possible he's running Machinas?

Duke: I end my turn

Turn 7 (Drake 6500/ Duke 5500)
Drake draws a card

Drake: I switch Axe Dragonute to defense and end my turn

Turn 8 (Drake 6500/ Duke 5500)
Duke draws a card

Duke: My Snow Plow Hustle Rustle (ATK2500) attacks your Axe Dragonute (DEF1200)!

Axe Dragonute is destroyed by battle.

Duke: I end my turn

Turn 9 (Drake 6500/ Duke 5500)
Drake draws a card

Drake: I set a monster in defense to end my turn

Turn 10 (Drake 6500/ Duke 5500)
Duke draws a card

Duke: I activate a continuous Spell Card, Supply Squad. Once per turn, if a monster I control is destroyed by battle or card effect, I draw 1 card. I attack your facedown monster with Snow Plow Hustle Rustle

Snow Plow Hustle Rustle (ATK2500) destroys Drake's facedown monster,  which was Magician of Faith (LIGHT/1*/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK300/DEF400).

Drake: I activate Magician of Faith's effect. I can return 1 Spell Card in my Graveyard to my hand. I select Stamping Destruction to go back to my hand.

Duke: I end my turn.

Turn 11 (Drake 6500/ Duke 5500)
Drake draws a card

Drake's fist balls up

Drake: I set a card and end my turn

Joey: I sense this may be a bad omen

Turn 12 (Drake 6500/ Duke 5500)
Duke draws a card

Duke: I set a card and attack directly with Snow Plow Hustle Rustle! (2500LP Damage to Drake)

Drake 4000/ Duke 5500

Duke: I end my turn.

Jack: This is a nightmare for Drake!

Kaiba: Maybe the deck he formed has finally surrendered

Turn 13 (Drake 4000/ Duke 5500)
Drake draws a card

Drake: I set another card and end my turn

Jack: This does not bode well.

Duke: Are you finished already? This is just sad old man.

Turn 14 (Drake 4000/ Duke 5500)
Duke draws a card

Duke: I set another card and attack directly with Snow Plow Hustle Rustle. But, during the damage step, I activate a Quick Play Spell Card, Limiter Removal!

Jack: No way!

Joey: That is just merciless!

Duke: Limiter Removal doubles the attack of all the Machines I control until the end of the turn. So Snow Plow Hustle Rustle's attack power is doubled! (ATK2500  -> 5000) (5000LP Damage to Drake)

Drake 0/ Duke 5500

Announcer: The winner, Duke!

The crowd was left silent as Duke just leaves as the dust cloud settles.

Joey: This is...wow!

Kaiba: Such brutality and disrespect.

Jack: I wouldn't call it disrespect but what a way to take someone's spot.

Kaiba: This makes it official, Duke is now in the ratings with 1 win but to equalize to be in the same statistic, he needs to face off with someone who didn't duel in this episode

Joey: Basically he fights consecutively.

Jack: That may be the case....

As Duke walks off, he was stopped on the way by Irvine, the Duel League champion and the two stared down. Duke then left promptly with Irvine going back to see Drake.

Drake at this point stood up and despite the sorry performance was given a round of applause. But he then leaves his deck on the duel field as he makes an exit.

Drake was stopped by Carly for a few words.

Carly: Drake, not exactly the outcome you expected but any words for the audience and the remaining duelists?

Drake: Well, I've been here for long. I've done what I can but unfortunately, this is as cutthroat as it is. If a duelist is unable to adapt to the new ways of war, there's no point in fighting a losing war. I have no regrets and it's time for me to go.

Kaiba: And with that, Drake has been released and we will update the standings to reflect such. Stay with us, there is more actio......

Irvine: Hey! You disrespectful punk! - points to Duke - So we can equalize records. How about you go up again tonight? I will put you in your place you disrespectful ....

Duke: - being given a microphone - Well, you sure talk big to be their champion. But well, we shall see how far you will go. You all only saw a taste of my deck's wrath. You will all see in time the full strength of the Mechanized Mayhem. You will see it yourself tonight.

Kaiba: Then we make it official. In our double main event, apart from Xavi v. Strike, (1 - 0, 5) Irvine will go up against (1 - 0, 24) Duke. But the title will not be on the line.

Jack: Makes sense. Then we will be back with more action. Stay with us.
