Joey: And here will be tonight's card
Kaiba: Well, before we head to the card itself, in case you missed out last night, here are the new rankings which will determine not just turn order but contenders. If you may,

Jack: What a turn around!
Kaiba: Now at this point, every duel on default is a rank duel unless specified or requested by the duelists.
Joey: Oh yeah, this is gonna be good. - smirks -
Jack: A rematch from the tournament as (14; 0 -1) Blaze will once again face off against (7; 1 -0) Odin
Kaiba: A bad hand gave us quite a surprising result for this one. But maybe things will change this time around or we get a decisive battle both duelists will actually be satisfied with.
Joey: Following that, a rivalry revived once more. (8; 1-0) Pat will go up against (19; 0-1) Mahad. A bitter rivalry with new wounds.
Kaiba: The word war has boiled down to this. With Dark Magician no longer in his deck, will Mahad's victory finally end the journey or will this prolong this quite personal feud.
Joey: And for the first time in Duel League broadcast history, we will have a Tag Duel between Counter Country [ (23; 0 -1) Viper and (1; 1-0)Cloud] against the team of (2; 1-0)Dino and (24; 0-1) Wolfe.
Jack: This was all because of a word war and having some characters not needed there but the stakes are high to position better for a title contention
Kaiba: Yes. And the main event, where (13; 0-1) AK will go up against (6, 1-0) Ryu.
Joey: Which for sure AK will choke again. Aye, choKer?
Kaiba: I will not entertain such CHILDISH FOURTH RATE BANTER
Jack: Also tonight, our champion, Irvine will address the people on the state of the championship.
Joey: This one has been getting loud lately. It's irking me.
Kaiba: You never know how to be champion.
Joey: Neither do you!
Jack: At least he is the people's champion with nothing to hide. But anyway, we have our first duel to open up the episode. The battle of Heroes, (4; 0-1) Hiro against (17; 0-1) Fenix.
Kaiba: The order now changed who will go first but right now, we saw quite a duel before this one. With Hiro grinding it out to squeeze by and win by looping Woodsman to keep fusing and that gave him the victory.
Joey: Fenix impressed us but it's just that Pat was steps ahead. The moment Dogma tasted Bottomless Trap Hole, Fenix never recovered.
Jack: But what is to happen right now is the battle of the Heroes. Hiro with Elemental Heroes and Fenix with the Destiny Heroes. Who will take the victory? Onto our announcer.
Announcer: For our first duel, first, Hiro!
https://youtu.be/dc_CYt1uC4g
Kaiba: Here comes the Elemental Hero user, who grinded out a victory in the last duel.
Joey: Let's see if he can do it again.
Jack: But we shall see if his grinding can stop the Destiny Heroes his foe will face.
https://youtu.be/l4ZLQJgv-Q8
Kaiba: Here comes someone who needs to reassert his ranking.
Joey: Destiny Hero going up against Elemental Hero
Jack: If Jaden Yuki and Aster Phoenix can see this, they will be proud. But let's see which Hero will reign supreme!
Announcer: Let the duel begin!
Turn 1 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 8000)
Hiro draws a card
Hiro: I set 5 cards and summon Elemental HERO Shadow Mist (DARK/4*/Warrior/ATK1000/DEF1500). I end my turn
Joey: He finished his hand?
Jack: Going for broke this early huh?
Turn 2 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 8000)
Fenix draws a card
Fenix: I set two cards facedown and summon Destiny HERO Drilldark (DARK/4*/Warrior/ATK1600/DEF1200).
Hiro: I activate a Trap Card, Compulsory Evacuation Device. That monster goes back to your hand.
Destiny HERO Drilldark returns to the hand.
Fenix: I end my turn
Kaiba: Smart!
Turn 3 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 8000)
Hiro draws a card
Hiro: I activate a Spell Card, E - Emergency Call. I add 1 Elemental HERO monster from my deck to my hand. I select, Elemental HERO Heat!
Elemental HERO Heat is added to the hand.
Hiro: I summon, Elemental HERO Heat (FIRE/4*/Pyro/ATK1600/DEF1200). I activate its effect. This card gains 200ATK for each Elemental HERO monster I control. I have 2 in Heat and Shadow Mist so it gains 400ATK!
Elemental HERO Heat's ATK (1600 ATK -> 2000 ATK)
Hiro: Elemental HERO Heat, direct attack! (2000 LP damage to Fenix)
Hiro 8000/ Fenix 6000
Hiro: Elemental HERO Shadow Mist, direct attack! (1000 LP damage to Fenix)
Hiro 8000/ Fenix 5000
Hiro: I end my turn
Kaiba: Amazing.
Joey: This is gonna be hard for a Destiny HERO user.
Turn 4 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 5000)
Fenix draws a card
Fenix: I summon Destiny HERO Drilldark (DARK/4*/Warrior/ATK1600/DEF1200). I activate its effect to Special Summon a Destiny HERO with an ATK less than or equal to this card's ATK on the field. I special summon in faceup defense, Destiny HERO - Dark Angel (DARK/1*/Warrior/ATK0/DEF0).
Jack: We shall see if this will be the turnaround.
Fenix: Drilldark, attack Shadow Mist!
Hiro: I activate a Trap Card, Battleguard Howling. When a Warrior type monster I control is targeted for an attack or by an opponent's monster effect, I target 1 face-up monster my opponent controls and inflict damage to my opponent equal to the Original ATK of the Face-up monster I target with this card and it returns to the hand. That being said, I target Destiny HERO Drilldark! (1600LP damage to Fenix)
Hiro 8000/ Fenix 3400
Destiny HERO Drilldark returns to the hand
Fenix: I end..my turn
Kaiba: Destiny is once again not on the side of ironically the Destiny HERO user.
Jack: We may see a Pat v. Fenix type loss again here
Turn 5 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 3400)
Hiro draws a card
Hiro: I activate a Spell Card, R - Righteous Justice. I destroy Spell/Trap Cards equal to the number of Elemental HERO cards I control. Since I control Elemental HERO HEAT and Elemental HERO Shadow Mist. I destroy your two facedowns, Fenix!
By effect of R-Righteous Justice, Fenix's facedown D-Time and Destiny Signal were destroyed.
Fenix: Damn it!
Hiro: No saving you now. Shadow Mist, attack Dark Angel!
Elemental HERO Shadow Mist (ATK 1000) destroys Destiny HERO - Dark Angel (DEF 0) by battle.
Hiro: Now I attack you with directly with Elemental HERO Heat! (2000LP damage to Fenix)
Hiro 8000/ Fenix 1400
Hiro: I end my turn
Jack: I've seen how Jaden Yuki defeated Aster Phoenix. This is now how it happened!
Joey: If Fenix will be unable to bend destiny, it will all end here
Turn 6 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 1400)
Fenix draws a card
Hiro: I don't want it to end this way. So I will not attack next turn.
Kaiba: What the hell was that?
Fenix: I summon Destiny HERO Drilldark (DARK/4*/Warrior/ATK1600/DEF1200).
Hiro: Well, I said I won't attack but didn't promise this. I activate a Trap Card, Bottomless Trap Hole. Drilldark is now out of play!
Destiny HERO - Drilldark is now removed from play
Joey: Now that wasn't nice
Kaiba: Really Wheeler?
Jack: This is a damn duel!
Fenix: I end...my turn
Turn 7 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 1400)
Hiro draws a card
Hiro: I summon Elemental HERO Avian (WIND/3*/Warrior/ATK1000/DEF1000) and end my turn. Now draw your destiny draw or be done and begone!
Kaiba: This is just out of character.
Turn 8 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 1400)
Fenix draws a card
Fenix: I end...my turn
Turn 9 (Hiro 8000/ Fenix 1400)
Hiro draws a card
Hiro: Destined for a loss. Elemental HERO Heat, attack for game!
Fenix: During Damage Calculation, I discard Destiny HERO - Dynatag to activate its effect. I take no battle damage from that battle but I inflict 1000LP damage to the both of us (1000LP damage to both players)
Hiro 7000/ Fenix 400
Hiro: Such a disappointing battle. Avian, direct attack! (1000LP damage to Fenix)
Hiro 7000/ Fenix 0
Announcer; The winner, Hiro!
Kaiba: A hot streak for Hiro!
Joey: He just fought out to his heart's content.
Jack: Fenix once again floored but he kept running into traps.
Hiro had his hand raised in victory but asked for a microphone
Hiro: Hey hey hey! Fenix. Wait. Stay out here.
Fenix was about to leave dejected once again but stopped in his tracks.
Hiro: I may have won. But this is not a victory I can be proud of. Look kid, Destiny Heroes were once in my arsenal but I see you use them now and I want to help you improve. 2 episodes from now, are you willing to have a rematch?
The crowd was cheering Yes! to get Fenix to accept.
Fenix: Fate has our roads intertwine. I want to keep it going. It's a yes!
The crowd cheers despite the rather lackluster start but a promise of a better duel ahead got everyone happy and optimistic.
Kaiba: Well, they made our job rather easier! in 2 episodes, we already got our first duel in Hiro and Fenix.
Joey: Hopefully this will be the more justifiable duel to show the power of Elemental and Destiny Heroes!
Jack: But still more to come in the broadcast. Please stay with us.
