At Duel Academy, Yuri was alone in a grass field during free time. He was sitting down in the grass. "She loves me." He had a white common daisy flower in his hand. He was playing the "She loves me, she loves me not' game with tearing off the flower petals one-by-one.

"She loves me not." He tore off the last flower petal, dropping it down on the grass. He felt so mesmerized by the most popular girl in school, who was one of the top duelists. Alexis Rhodes. 

He had never seen anyone duel just like her before. He felt like she dueled with such grace, respect, sportsmanship, and such skill. It was so much to the point that he was always impressed by her. His heart beat every time that he was around her. 

It made him so nervous and shy that he didn't know what to say to her. He had a big crush on her and wanted to tell her. He would often wonder what Alexis would think of him in her own view? And how she saw him? He was tired of waiting and wondering. He didn't want to waste his time anymore. He decided that today was the day that he would take action and confess to her how he felt about her.

Today was the big day!

He saw that Alexis had finished talking with her female friends. Her friends then walked away into separate ways from her. She then left too, but to go sit down alone on a concrete bench near the small flower garden and water fountain that Yuri was at. 

Yuri got up and went to go talk to her. 

"Yuri." said Alexis. "Hello, there."

"Hi, Lexie." said Yuri, he was hiding some flowers behind his back that he personally had grew by himself.

"Yuri. I just wanted to say that I watched you duel yesterday. And it was fantastic! I thought that you did an amazing job! I just wanted to congratulate you on it. On a job well then."

"Oh thanks for the compliment." said Yuri. "Listen, Alexis." he took out the flowers that were behind his back. "I want to give you these flowers as a token of my feelings for you."

"Those are some beautiful flowers! I love this shade of blue. It's just like Obelisk Blue." Alexis grabbed the blue flowers and admired them. "These are a token of your feelings? What kind of flowers are these?"

"Yes." Yuri blushed. "It's how I feel about you. These blue flowers are known as 'Forget-Me-Nots'. In flower language, giving them to someone means that you don't want that person to ever forget about you. And, I don't want you to forget about me. Alexis. You are special to me. I am going to be completely honest with you." he pulled out a red rose and gave it to her. "Roses in flower language mean a token for a romantic expression to a loved one. And, I have romantic feelings for you. I love you."

"Uh--Yuri." said Alexis. "This sure is a really romantic way to sweep a girl off her feet. With all these flowers and flower language that you are talking about to me. It's cool, too."

"The question is, how do you feel about me? I know you are the most popular girl in school and you get so many romantic offers from others that are not me. I like you because of the great sportsmanship that you display with your duels, with your opponent. I like the passion and fire that you show when you go all in a duel. It is such a breath-taking sight to see. You duel with such beauty and grace. That... it is like a song that breezes through in the wind. You are so amazing here at Duel Academy, that I can't keep my eyes off of you every time that I watch you duel. You are such a natural at it. I doubt that you would notice me, because I'm not really popular in school. And, have no real friends to talk to. It's okay, if you don't like me. If you reject me, I understand. Then, I will be on my way, away from you."

"Yuri." said Alexis. She kissed Yuri on his lips. "Thank you for this considerate and loving gift of these Forget-Me-Nots and that red rose that you gave me. I like them a lot." She chuckled. "You're kidding me? You thought the same way that you do about me. That's such a crazy coincidence. Because I also love your dueling! And I think that you are quite the duelist too. I don't care if you are popular or not. To me, I consider you as the coolest guy that I ever know here at Duel Academy. Watching you duel all the time is my favorite time of day. It gives me motivation, for my own duels and life. So, I accept your feelings back. Because I like--NO... I love you, Yuri. I want to go out with you, regardless of your status in school. I don't care about your own ranking as an Obelisk or not. And, I won't ever forget you, too. Not with these Forget-Me-Nots that I got from you."

"Lexie. Alexis." Yuri began holding Alexis' hand. "Thank you. You have made me so happy, that I am blooming out my smile... out in the open. I never thought that you would accept my feelings for you, as quick as that."

"I do. You were never invisible to me. I always noticed that you were alone. And, I considered you as my friend too. Whether, you knew about that or not." said Alexis. "Now, let's keep our relationship a secret between us. I don't want the Professor to find out, because he would probably separate us. Split us up. Possibly punish us? Turn us into a card? And make us stop seeing each other, which I don't want to happen. 'Cause, I like being around you, Yuri. I wouldn't want to ruin that. You are as precious to me, like open daylight."

"And, daylight is bright. I see. I get that now, with what your comparison is to me with that." said Yuri. "It's quite delightful."
