Park ballet- PewDiePie
"Again." That word was relentless. It was all you had heard for the past hour. You were a dancer and had been since you could walk, and you were brilliant at pretty much all forms of dance alone. However in a group things became more complicated. For as long as you could remember you had been a soloist in ballet, never taking part in a large group number for your best dance style. So when you're teacher, Miss Stacy, decided that it was time for you to join a group doing ballet for a competition it wasn't easy for you.
Well the dance itself was easy for you, the routine was perfect, but your team members weren't. Nine older girls all trying to do one part of the dance and screwing up completely. You wanted to leave for the day, you knew it inside and out, but you were a vital part of the dance. Hence why you kept hearing the same word over and over again from Miss Stacy. "Come on girls how hard is it to simply do what I'm asking?" A break, finally.
"I think (Y/N) is going too fast." One of the girls replied, sneering at you as she folded her arms over her chest. You didn't say a word, taking a seat in front of your dance teacher with your pointe shoes turned outwards slightly.
"Yeah, she was coming in at the wrong time for the leap." Another girl joined in.
"Actually she was coming in at just the right time." Miss Stacy replied, annoyance heavy in her tone. "This dance may be ballet but it's a faster pace ballet, not like the normal dances you do. You've all been trained in this type of ballet so it shouldn't be that difficult."
"I think (Y/N) is holding us back."
"Actually she's the one keeping this together, we have a week until the competition and I'm thinking about pulling this group dance all together." Miss Stacy answered as she looked up towards the clock. "Right you're all free to go, but tomorrow I want better." Nodding you unlaced your shoes and walked into the changing room where you threw on your trainers and hoodie before slinging your back over your shoulder and leaving the studio. It was still fairly early in the evening.
Shaking your shoulders slightly you made your way towards the park, the place where you often practiced dancing. Once you had reached the park you hurried over to the band stand that hadn't been used in several years, the white paint chipping and wooden floor boards creaking every once in a while. That didn't bother you as you had been dancing in the same place for many years, you were surrounded by nature too which helped you relax and focus on your steps.
After dropping your bag onto the floor in the band stand you sat yourself beside it and changed your footwear once more, to your spare pointe shoes. You had two sets, one for competitions and inside practise, another pair for been you danced outside. Five minuets later you had your shoes comfortably on, allowing you to stand up calmly. Throwing your hoodie back onto your bag you got into first position and counted the beats in your head.
Seconds later you began dancing, humming to yourself as you went. Your feet skimmed the floor as you went, your leaps perfect and landing spot on. Soon enough you began free styling your routine, dropping from the band stand and onto the pavement. Dancing around the band stand you grinned to yourself, throwing your arms in the air as you twirled and leaped. Unbeknown to you a male, not much older than yourself, was watching you from further in the park.
As you came to the end of your free style ballet performance you placed your hands on the small bench near you and kicked your left leg up, your right leg bolt straight and on your pointe. Moments later you dropped from the position and stood normally, a large smile on your face. "That was good." An accented voice spoke behind you as two small pugs and a Yorkshire terrier bounded up to you and licked your legs, causing you to giggle before turning to the owner.
"Thank you." You replied. "It was all spontaneous and off the top of my head so it didn't really have a structure."
"Either way that was breath taking." He said before extending his hand. "My name's Felix."
"(Y/N), nice to meet you Felix." The Yorkshire terrier licked your leg again. "And who might these three be?"
"Maya, Ynk and Edgar." Felix gestured to each small dog as he said their names, causing them to bark happily.
"Hi guys, aren't you all cute." You giggled before sitting on the bench behind you and untying your shoes. Felix sat beside you watched carefully as your fingers skilfully slid under the silk straps of the shoe before pulling it away from your legs.
"You've been doing this a long time haven't you?"
"Since I could walk." You answered honestly. "I'm currently learning to be a choreographer as well as a dancer, make a job out of what I love you know?"
"That's what I've done!" The brunette exclaimed, his accent even heavier than before. "I play video games for a living and post them on YouTube."
"Wow! I knew YouTubers were becoming big things but I didn't know you could do anything like that on there."
"Yeah it's great." You nodded and folded your legs under you. "You could always do it you know, start a YouTube channel once you're a choreographer." A confused look passed over your face as you turned to face Felix. "You would put dance routines up and tutorials! That might bring you in more students too right?"
"That's actually a brilliant idea!" You exclaimed, your (E/C) eyes brightening at the thought. "Thank you!"
"No problem."
"So what's your channel name? I might check it out later?"
"PewDiePie." You nod before standing once more.
"I need to get going, it was nice meeting you Felix and thank you for the idea."
"Wait! Can I see you again?"
"Maybe you'll see me on YouTube at some point."
And that's exactly what happened. Two months later, after following PewDiePie on Twitter and all his social media sites, you sent him a link to your new YouTube channel, where you had already posted a few videos of solo dances (Like the one in the media). He subscribed almost instantly and helped promote your channel (with out you asking him to), and six months into your YouTube career you and 1.5 million subscribers and plenty more dancers to your name.
You and Felix stayed really good friends and four years after first meeting he proposed to you in the very same place where he met you, in the park near the bandstand.
