When the 'Damn Daniel' vine first became popular you didn't see any real enjoyment in it, it was just someone repeating the same phrase over and over as far as you were concerned. To you it was pointless and annoying, until your remembered your boyfriend, Phil, had a flat mate called Daniel. You and Dan were friends and had known each other for almost as long as you and Phil had been dating for. The relationship you had with the brunette was strictly friendly from both sides, Dan having admitting you were like the little sister he never had.

So naturally you took on that 'little sister' roll and annoyed him often. Once the 'Damn Daniel' vine was completely viral you took it upon yourself to say it every time you walked passed the slightly awkward male. He would glare at you and try to playfully hit you, but you made sure to hurry past him before he could. Phil had took notice of this whenever you were around so cheekily joined in, meaning that the pair of you would often terrorise Dan to his horror.

It was a Monday morning and you had woken up at 6am for no apparent reason and was struggling to get back to sleep. Beside you Phil slept soundly, softly snoring with his arm thrown over your waist and head buried in your hair. A sigh escaped your lips as the sun began to rise, waking you fully. Gently you moved Phil's arm from around your waist and got out of bed, slipping on one of Phil's hoodies as the cold air hit your body. Your slippers shuffled along the wooden floor and lead you to the kitchen.

After making yourself a cup of tea you say on the living room sofa with the TV on low volume, and that is where you stayed for a few hours until a knock at the door startled you. Jumping up you made your way down the apartment stairs and to the door, listening for either man to move from their dwellings, which they didn't. With a shake of your head you unlocked and pulled open the door to be met with four smiling faces. "Hello." They all chirped.

"Zoë, Alife, Joe, Caspar. What a nice surprise."

"You didn't know we were coming?" Joe asked, tilting his head slightly and raising an eyebrow.

"If I did I would have gotten dressed." You chuckled.

"Dan and Phil said you knew." Alfie explained, causing you to roll your eyes and let them inside.

"Dan and Phil aren't even up by the looks of it." Zoë laughed.

"No they aren't." You agreed, leading the four into the living room where you warned them to cover their ears. "PHILIP MICHAEL LESTER! DANIEL JAMES HOWELL!" Instantly the sound of two bodies falling out of bed followed by hurried footsteps entered your hearing range. The pair burst through the door and looked around, soon spotting their YouTuber friends sitting on the sofa and you standing still with your arms folded.

"I don't mind that they're here, they are my friends too." You began to explain, causing the pair to cringe at your tone of voice. "What I do mind is the fact that I wasn't told. Now I'm stood here in my Pyjamas, looking like a mess and feeling like an idiot."

"We were going to tell you!" Phil defended instantly. "But we never got round to it and it was a busy night last night and-"

"A busy night huh?"

"Get your head out of the gutter Caspar." You shot back, narrowing your eyes at the 'pineapple looking' male. Everyone chuckled while Phil and Dan held their hands up still in defence. "Well since you're up you can make tea and coffee!" You cheered, "Both of you can." They groaned tiredly and disappeared into the kitchen, causing you to smirk and throw yourself onto the arm chair in the corner. For the next hour or so you all laughed and talked, everyone but yourself sharing video and collab ideas.

Pretty soon Alfie got his vlog camera out and began talking to his views, introducing you all (luckily you had time to get dressed and look presentable) and explaining everything he had to do for the rest of the day. Dan was stood beside him as he vlogged, giving you the perfect opportunity to embarrass him. Phil had the same idea as he looked over to you and nodded at the brunette, earning a grin from you in return. Standing up you walked normally over to the pair.

As you passed by you whispered 'Damn Daniel' to the camera with a wink before hurrying out of the room. Everyone turned to face Dan who was glaring at the door you had gone through. "So that's what your tweet was about the other day." Joe laughed, referring to the slightly annoyed yet amused tweet Dan had put out when you and Phil had pestered him all day with the phrase.

From that moment on any YouTuber that saw Dan would repeat the phrase before passing it on to others, meaning that more and more people knew it. Dan mildly hated you and Phil for starting it but that hate soon faded away when Niall Horan whispered it to him on the red carpet when he and Phil were on it for radio one.

"You're welcome." You grinned as you joined the boys on the carpet after they were finished doing their things for the radio station. You hooked your arm through Phil's and Dan pretty much died of 'the feels' trying to explain to you how he felt. Your boyfriend smiled down at you, happiness radiating from his eyes. "Are you okay?" You asked, referring to his staring.

"You're amazing did you know that?"

"Well technically you are, you are AmazingPhil."

"I'm being serious."

"And what makes you say that?"

"Dans been a little down lately, he hasn't really been himself and although he hates to admit it you've cheered him up. Making him laugh as he chases you around the house trying to get you back for the comment. You've really bonded with him, something my past girlfriends could never seem to do."

"Phil he's you're best friend and he's always going to come first to you. Don't worry I know that, I can see it in your eyes when you hear anything he's done. You've watched him grow up and I'm not going to take you away from him. Besides, Dan gets me and my sense of humour." Phil chuckled in agreement before placing a small kiss to your lips. You pulled him into a tight hug, grinning from ear to ear until you saw Dan talking to a young woman you didn't recognise.

Phil turned when he noticed you staring at something, his eyes catching Dan instantly. "Damn Daniel." You whispered together.
