Toby sighed, the snow had piled up so high that he couldn't even see out the window. "I don't think you will be going anywhere for awhile," Toby chuckled, turning around to face his friend Jack.

"Man, I was really looking forward to my vacation," Jack sighed, running his hands through his hair.

"Want some hot chocolate," Toby asked. Jack declined, and looked down at his phone. He was texting his friend that he wouldn't be able to come on the trip.

Toby sat down on the couch with hot chocolate in his hand. "I'm really sorry, man. Maybe if you hadn't have come here you would've made it to the airport," Toby looked down. He hated to see his friend(and crush) sad.

Toby had always had a slight crush on Jack. Stupid right? Jack plopped down next to him,"Don't worry about it, Toby. It really isn't your fault, I'm just... Disappointed."

"Yeah... Well it's getting late we should probably get to bed," Toby said, taking his cup into the kitchen and plopping it in the sink.

When he turned around, all of the lights flickered, and then suddenly turned off. "Oh perfect," Toby groaned. "C'mon, I'll show you the guest bedroom," Toby tried to fake a smile. It was going to be freezing tonight, and he blamed himself for Jack not being able to go on vacation.

Toby led Jack to a pale blue room with a white bed. "Um... I'll see you in the morning, I guess... Goodnight," Toby smiled, walking to his own bedroom.

He felt bad for being so rude and distant, and he new Jack could probably tell. Something was just so upsetting and irritating. Maybe the fact that he was ruining his crush's day or... He really didn't know.

He sighed getting into his blankets, laying there for about an hour before deciding he couldn't sleep. Besides being so cold, he kind of felt happy that Jack was in the room right next to him. He then felt guilty for being happy that Jack wasn't were he really wanted to be.

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. "Toby," Jacks voice asked.

"Yeah, Jack," he replied nervously.

"Is your room any warmer than mine. I think your heater is broken, do you mind if I stay in there with you," he asked. He hesitated every now and then, was he nervous too?

"Oh I'm sure... Come in," Toby smiled. He got up, and began laying his blankets on the floor.

"You can have the bed, Jack" Toby smiled, motioning towards the bed. Luckily it was dark, so Jack couldn't see the huge blush on his face.

"Oh, um. Can we share the bed. Body heat.. Ya know," Jack asked nervously. Toby's heart skipped a best and his stomach was now infested with butterflies.

"Uh- uh sure, I guess," Toby laughed awkwardly. He waited for Jack to get settled under the covers before he got in himself. They slept back to back, and Toby was completely unaware that as his stomach and heart were going nuts, so was Jack's.

Toby finally decided to make a move. Jack's breathing had slowed, so Toby figured while he was sleeping he could swing his arm over Jack, and cuddle with him. In the morning he would just figure he would do it in his sleep.

Toby began executing the plan. He rested his arm over Jack's waist, and pulled him closer. "Uh- Toby," he heard Jack's voice.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry uh, Jack I," Toby immediately pulled his hand away and scooted back to where he was.

"I didn't say you had to let go," Jack giggled.

"You sure," Toby asked nervously.

"Ahuh," Jack breathed out.

Toby tentatively put his arm back over Jack, and Jack cuddled back into Toby. The realization that they were spooning hit Toby so hard, he thought he would puke. He didn't though, he just smiled.

"Uh, Jack," Toby spoke.

"Yeah Toby," Jack replied.

"I- uh- I think I love you," Toby confessed quickly and quietly.

At this Jack smiled,"I love you too."

They fell asleep peacefully in each other's arms.
