I LOVE YOU FILCHES THANKYOU SOOOO MUCHHHHH
Felix's face lit up at the little ding sound being immited from his computer. He hopped up from the couch in his apartment and sprinted over to the machine, plopping down on the chair and quickly opening up the tab of Steam. The message left as simple, and yet it left butterflies in his stomach, and mystery in his mind.
Cry: Sup.
The blonde ran his hand through his hair, quickly thinking of a response. This has been his life for the past few weeks. Talking with this guy on steam, and enjoying every second of it. Cry was hilarious, mysterious, chill, opiniotive, and altogether brilliant.
Pewds: Hey Bro.
Within seconds there was a response. A response that made his heart jump and his eyes widen, all in excitement of course.
Cry: You wanna voice chat and play a game or something? Or maybe just talk? Cuz I think my fingers are all broken from typing with you.
He sat back in his chair for a moment, taking a deep breath before plugging in his neon pink headphones, slipping them on, and pushing the call button. Those three seconds were the longest of his life, the monotone ringing over and over and over- until a voice cut into it.
"Hello? Pewds," the voice asked, and Felix felt excitement bubbling over in his stomach, and extreme shock. Cry's voice was gorgeous, stunning, breathtaking. A deep sultry, yet loveable sound.
"Hey! Cry," Pewds laughed, trying to hide his excitement.
"Whoah! Your accent is very, very thick," Cry chuckled.
"Sorry, I shoul've warned you. You don't talk in English much in Sweden, I have only ever talked in it for classes or when we travel really," the blonde lied. In reality, he had been practicing ever since he had met Cry, that way he would be able to talk to him.
"Oh. I kinda feel bad. Maybe I should learn Swedish," Cry suggested.
"Oh! No, no it is fine. We have to learn it anyway, almost every country that doesn't speak it has to learn it anyway," he chuckled in response.
"That is true, and I find it kind of stupid. I mean, they must really just want Americans to have it easy and not have to learn any languages and be stupid compared to the rest of the world," Cry huffed, leaning back in his chair.
"I could teach you, if you really really wanted me to," Pewds shrugged, leaning back in his chair also.
"Nah, I am good, friend," Cry laughed, his voice cracking halfway through the sentence.
There was silence on the line for awhile, and awkward sort of silence.
"So... what time is it for you right now," Cry asked after awhile.
The Swede looked at his clock, and his eyes widened. "Eh... only 1:00 am," Felix muttered quietly.
"What?! Dude, it is only 7:00 PM for me, Jesus, did you stay up waiting for me to call," Cry exclaimed.
"No. I was sleeping and it... woke me up," Felix lied," No big deal though. I enjoy talking to you!"
"Oh, well um... I like talking to you too," Cry replied, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Yeah... Didn't you say something about videogames, by the way," Felix asked.
"I did indeed, friend," Cry replied smoothly.
And so the conversation went on for hours. Six hours to be exact. So by the time it was 1:00 for Cry, and 7:00 for Pewds, they both agreed it as time to sleep, and they both reluctantly hung up the call.
This continued on for awhile, a very long while. In fact, just about a year. That is long enough for them to find out a lot about each other, and both develop a sort of bond.
Felix found out that Cry was pansexual, did livestreams with his friends (which he tuned in for frequently), he enjoyed nutella, was an awkward person, had a dog named Hewie, a cat named AK, and he owned snapchat. The whole snapchat thing introduced a whole new game of them sending each other snapchats of random objects or things in their homes, outside of their homes, funny jokes, their hands, their feet, their computer desks, their rooms, their pets.
Cry found out that Felix was a youtuber, a relatively popular one at that. He also found that the Swede really liked the color green and blue, was a social butterfly, had a pug named Edgar, and really liked pie. This meant for Cry sending constant streams of pictures of pie to Pewds, and in return him sending pictures of nutella heaven.
Cute videos of their pets were exchanged, along with videos of their pets reacting to the videos of the others pets. At one point, Felix sent of video of himself dancing, his face away from the camera the whole time(and wearing a hoody and long jeans), to Do You Remember September. That definitely started a lifelong joke between them.
Cry constantly scolded his friend for doing stupid things as well. Felix sending him videos of himself battling creepy looking spiders, or jumping off of tables onto couches and doing parkour around his apartment. Not to mention the one video of him attempting to ride a bike down the stairs in his apartment complex and spraining his ankle. Felix would always reply with: Don't worry about it, and sent a picture of the after math bruises or scrapes on his limbs or torso or wherever he got hurt.
They both felt like they new eachother so well, despite never seeing the others face. This was strange, yet not at all to the two men, and they seriously felt like they new each other better than any other.
They didn't just snapchat though, they still continued their voice chatting on Steam or Skype whenever they could. Steam was more an at home thing, and Skype was when they were going places and were bored.
Cry and Felix both pictured the other's image, what they would look like. If they would be taller or shorter, the color of their hair, the color of their eyes, if they would have freckles, or dimples, or facial hair.
Cry was absolutely sure Pewds was blonde, from seeing the blonde body hair on his arms and legs when pictures of his injuries were sent. Cry knew himself to be short, so always pictured Pewds to be taller.
Pewds thought that Cry might wear glasses, being that Cry always called himself a geek. It was a stereotypical thing to do, but I mean, what else are you going to imagine. He thought that the American might have long brown hair, maybe blue or green eyes. He just couldn't picture him with brown.
And despite this, both of them would be happy with the other's appearance.
Both of them had an unspoken thing, relationship almost. They both avoided dating or anything of the sorts with others, almost feeling like they were both together although never being officially stated. No: I love yous, or boyfriends, or partners, or any sort of lingo was mentioned, and they both thought that what was going on was absolutely insane, but didn't really care about that.
~~~
After two years of going on like this, Cry couldn't take it. On September 8th, they were in the middle of a Steam call when Cry just blurted it out.
"I am going to come and see you," Cry exclaimed loudly, sending Felix's babbling to an absolute silence.
"Are you serious," Felix asked after awhile, in absolute shock.
"Ahuh. I can't take it anymore, I want to meet you," Cry replied, sounding a bit desperate.
"O-okay. When," Felix asked, excitement and nervousness racing through his veins.
"U-um next week. On Tuesday, and I just need what airport to fly into, and it will be done. You can send a taxi or you can come meet me and oh I dunno! I just... I just really really want to meet you," Cry finished.
A smile spread on Felix's face. "Okay. I will send you the information, and when you land, snapchat a picture of your surroundings to me," Felix planned as he spoke, and Cry took in every bit of information.
~~~
Here Felix sat, fiddling his thumbs nervously outside the airport, waiting for his friend to arrive. Wait is he still his friend? Are they more? Well, no. They had never said that, although he thought he felt much more for the American.
A leather jacket covered his arms, and underneath that two layers of shirts. He really hoped Cry dressed warmly. Felix sunk to the ground, a feeling of nervousness in his stomach as he brought his bare hands to his face and started blowing warm air into them.
Cry still hadn't sent a picture of where he was, maybe he was still getting his luggage? Maybe the flight as delayed a bit... or what if something happened to the plane? What if ti crashed? Or maybe cry arrived and was mugged or something.
Felix shook the thoughts from his head. No. Cry is fine. "He is perfectly fine. Don't worry about it, Felix," he murmered to himself.
"Worried," a sudden, sort of muffled voice asked, making Felix jump and look up. His blue eyes fell upon an obviously foreign man, dressed warmly.
A scarf covered the bottom half of his face, but the top have was exposed showing off long-ish red hair and stubble along the side of his face. Blue eyes were revealed underneath his glasses, and he wore a black hoody. He was sort of tall, or an average height, but Felix would easily be a couple inches taller. Felix couldn't help but feel the voice was somewhat familiar in a sense.
"A-a bit. I am supposed to pick a friend up from the airport, never met him before," Felix finished witha sigh.
"Ah. I am being picked up by somebody I have never met before, sounds kind of stupid now that I think about it," the man chuckled, looking down at Felix. He slowly sits down on the cold wet pavement besides the Swede.
"Yeah... Does it sound stupid... S-stupid that I think I might love him... ya know if I have never even seen him before," Felix asked curiously.
"Well... depends on how long you have known him without seeing him. I am pan, so I personally don't care about appearances, but that might be why I am here myself. I don't know what this guy looks like either, but I have taken quite a liking to him," the man sighed, stretching his arms behind his head and leaning against the frosty glass.
"Two years... but I mean... just feel something, ya know," Felix asked, turning to face the man.
He had picked up his phone, and lifted it up, snapping a picture then turning it off. "That is a long time, I have known him that long too. Funny coincidence huh... sorry I was just sending him a picture of where I was at," the red-head replied, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
Felix nodded, then felt excited as he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. Taking it out, the familiar words with the icon of the ghost beside it were on his screen. He unlocked his phone, then excitedly opened the snapchat. What he saw... what he saw was shocking. He gasped and dropped his phone, looking in front of him and matching what he saw in front of him to the screen.
He raised an eyebrow and turned towards the red head, taking in his appearance. "Red hair... really Cry," he asked, a smirk upon his face as he stared at the ginger.
The man eyes widened, as he looked back at Felix and raised an eyebrow. "You are shitting me right now," he stated, staring intensely at the Swede.
"Nope," Felix laughed, lunging forward and wrapping his arms around the American tightly. He took in his warmth, his scent of cologne and slight hint of nutella. He took in the way his arms wrapped around his back tightly, pushing him forward into his chest.
As they pulled back they stared at each other in amazement, and Cry pulled down his scarf a bit to reveal the red stubble and pink lips. "It might've helped if this mask wasn't on wouldn't it," he chuckled, his voice now sounding clearer and exactly like the one Felix heard on their voice chats.
Felix's eyes suddenly widened in realization that he had confessed to Cry only minutes ago, and 'seconds later Cry caught on a smirked. "Hey, Pewds, don't worry about it," and with that he carressed the Swede's face, feeling the stubble along the skin of his fingers. He leaned forward and delicately placed a kiss to the other's lips.
Their warmth suddenly made it less cold, and made them feel even more familiar with each other. They both closed their eyes and enjoyed the kiss, taking in each other's minty breath, and warm air, and the stubble along stubble. Hands were placed in perfect spots, carressing and learning each other's bodies. Cry's were being familar with Felix's hips, rubbing small circles whilst the blonde's were entangled in Cry's messy redhair, enjoying everything about it.
After pulling apart, they just smiled happily at each other. "This is a lot better than online," Felix smiled, sending Cry into a fit of giggles.
