"Shane! I can never take you seriously! Will it kill you to be serious for once," Lisa yelled at Shane. Shane sighed.

"You know how it is just how I cope with things, Lisa. Please listen, I am trying I promise, but," Shane was interrupted by his upset girlfriend.

"Shane! Please, can't we be serious for once," she pleaded.

"Ok. I'll try my best, what's up," he asked, holding back a joke he thought of. Her smile brightened.

"I have to go visit my family for the weekend. I know we planned our special date, but it is serious," she sighed sadly.

"Ok, that's fine... I'll miss you," the last part was sort of a question. He was seriously trying to be serious, but it didn't really work.

She sighed,"I love you." She pecked his lips then walked out the door dragging her suitcase behind her. The minute she walked out the door he smirked.

He texted Lisa's mom,"Remeber. Send her home at noon."

Shane had planned the whole thing. He was finally going to propose to Lisa, who thinks she has to go to visit her family to help with their dog's death.

Shane immediately began decorating, setting up lights and everything. He would add everything else later, and decided to sleep early tonight.

He woke up at about seven the next morning. He immediately called Joey, who would be there to film and help decorate. In the meantime, Shane hung up lights, and called the caterers who would bring some healthy food that Lisa loved.

He was so into everything, that he jumped when the doorbell rang. It might've been weird to people that he asked Joey to help. If they had known about Joey and Shane's previous relationship.

When he opened the door Joey walked in with a smile on his face. "Hey," he shouted. He had a gift bag and a camera in his hands.

"Hi. Okay. How do the decorations look," Shane asked, motioning around.

"Gorgeaynas! Why so serious," he giggled at Shane. Shane was rarely a serious person and when he was, it was a very weird experience.

"Oh I don't know... I'm about to propose," he shouted.

"Ok. Ok. So where is your tux," Joey questioned. Shane ran into his bedroom and came out a little bit later wearing a nice fitted tux.

"You look great Shane. What time is she supposed to be here," Joey asked.

"Um... 4:00."

Joey looked down at his phone," ITS ALREADY THREE! Ok. I'll set up the camera!" Joey set up the camera, and Shane was pacing around. Joey suddenly realized how serious Shane was about this. He sighed and felt ashamed that he hoped it wouldn't work out between Lisa and Shane.

Shane seemed to notice," Joey. I'm sorry, but I can't. You know this. It wouldn't have worked out."

"I know," Joey sighed. "It's just... I'm happy for you," Joey decided it was best not to say I love you.

Instead he gave Shane a friendly hug and went to hide in the bedroom. Shane sprinkled rose pedals leading to the table, and went and sat down.
At this point Shane was dying of anticipation. His heart jumped when he heard the door open," Shane I'm home early-... Shane what is this?"

She followed the rose petals into the kitchen and gasped when she saw Shane. "Shane-'I? What's going on!?"

"Lisa, I want to be serious. We have been dating for awhile, and I love you a lot and, will you marry me?"

Lisa gasped," Shane are tho serious?"

Shane got down on one knee and took out the ring," I am serious."

While they were having their moment of love in the kitchen. Joey was sobbing in the bathroom. His love with Shane was never serious.
