Cry's POV

A loud groan escaped my lips as I was awoken to the sound of my alarm clock. I slowly sat up, and groggily hit the stop button, and rubbed my eyes. All I saw was blurs of my room. A blur of my walls and posters and my computer. I searched for my glasses with my hand on my nightstand, and when I find them, slip them on.

I push off my covers and sit on the edge of my bed. I look at my phone, and see I have a text from Ken. It read: Hey! Would u like 2 collab l8r 2day? I texted back: yeah sure. Txt me whenever u r ready. I groan and stand up besides my bed. Today was just a lazy day. I had nothing going on, of importance at least. Just a day of TV, video games, and pizza.

I go out into the hallway, to see Hewie napping by my door. I rubbed his head, then continued down the hallway. I made my way into the kitchen and grab the Nutella. I scooped out three cups and plop them into a large mixing bowl and walk back to the hallway and open the door to my right. The basement.

The stairs creaked underneath each step, and I ran my hand over the cement wall searching for the light switch. When my hand felt it, I flipped it up, and the pitch black was now bright.

I could clearly see the brick floors and cement walls, along with many small white balls of fluff. I set down the bowl and the foot of the stairs, and sat down criss cross apple sauce.

I watched, and suddenly one of the little balls of white started moving around, fidgeting. After awhile, it sort of popped open, into a small creature.
The face was the same of my mask, a white circle with a poker face. A little curly hair stuck out from the top of its head, and it had two stumps for feet. It walked over towards the Nutella, and jumped up and stood on the rim of the bowl. It then slowly bent down and shoved its face into the brown hazelnut spread.

It made little smacking sounds as it devoured the Nutella. Soon other white creatures joined in, and the bowl was clean.

After they ate, they stood in the middle of the room and moved into different little groups. Each group sang a different pitch, and eventually they began humming a song I taught them yesterday, I See Fire by Ed Sheeran.

They got to the chorus and I began singing along with them.

" I see fire

Inside the mountains

And I see fire

Blood in the breeze

And I see fiiiiiiire-"

I was interrupted by a knock at the door. I groaned, shoveling my hair through my dusty brown hair, sort of blonde, and walked back upstairs.

I went through the door and gasped at what I saw through the peep hole. I tall blonde haired man with blue eyes and stuble. Pewds?

I opened the door immediately," PEWDS!" His eyes open wide and he looks at me.

"Cry," he asked unsurely, looking me up and down.

"Yeah, friend! What are you doing here," I asked.

"I moved here! I live next door, I was gonna text you tomorrow to tell you I was here," he smiled, then wrapped hi arms around me.

I blushed immediately and hugged him back awkwardly. "Imma come over tomorrow if that's alright. Maybe we can co op," he asked. I nodded.

He smiled and handed me a package," This was delivered to me by accident." I took it from him, and he walked down the porch steps, then made a right.

I closed my door and bit my lip. A small smile peeked upon my lips. God dammit Pewds. I have a bit of a crush on him, but with my situation being a Cry Lord, I don't think it will work out.

Oh yeah. Cry Lord. Basically, I am the guardian of those little creatures. One day I woke up in the middle of the night and they were all sitting on my bed, with a note. It said I was now the Cry Lord, guardian on the mysterious creatures. They had to be kept a secret, otherwise something would be jacked up in the universe or whatever. I also couldn't show anyone my face.

Apparently, there are other lords of different creatures. A fox lord, was one I've heard of. That's the one I'm supposed to team up with, to take down the other lords. To be supreme lord. Sounds like too much work though.

I suddenly feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. Oh Ken. I forgot about him. I went to my computer and skype called him.

"Hello, friend," I said when he answered.

"Hey. I was thinking we can play some speed runners, I think Pewds is gonna play with us," he said happily.

I smiled to myself. God dammit Pewds. "O-ok. Crazy thing, guess who my next door neighbor is," I asked.

"Who," Ken asked curiously, I could hear shuffling from his end of the conversation.

"Pewds! He's my new neighbor, came by today to give me a package that they accidentally delivered to him! Crazy huh," I spoke with enthusiasm.

"What! Really! I should come visit you guys some time," Ken yelled back. I laughed at his response, then Pewds joined the call.
