" Sh!t , not again! I am late even today!! " honking the car horn in the heavy Mumbai traffic doesn't gonna help me in apprating to pick my dumb head friend on time. He will be mocking me for my punctuality throughout the day. Let him, who cares.

Split-flap display in the entrance of airport made sure that Adi's flight has arrived exactly 85 minutes before and by my calculation he would be waiting for me for at least past 40 minutes. I entered the crowded lounge to search for him, spotting him at a corner with his baggage's throwing who knows what curses at me he looked completely pissed.

A step towards him, I missed my balance due to the collision with someone before me. Well exactly a girl before me. Her hands taken refuge on my arms to help herself from hitting the floor, my hands on her waist to support her, a look into her most innocent orbs, world froze for me. A sense of panic-ness in her eyes caught me at the right moment, I released her swiftly. I steadied myself mumbling a quick sorry and left towards Adi. Giving into the irresistible urge to look into the brown pool of innocence, I glanced back to see her turning towards me. Involuntarily smile adorned its way across my lips. Intoxicating, both her brown orbs and her lime fragrance.

"Earth to man. You cannot ogle all the girls in world and safeguard them in your hands, pick someone and settle in life Romeo"

Punching his stomach I got hold of his baggage and walked him towards our car.

"I wasn't ogling, something caught me off guard"

"Something caught you off guard? Seriously, that plump, short and plain girl caught your eye?"

"She was not plump! She is curvy, normal height and simple"

Adi just raised his brows, to distract him I got into topic which will keep him away from this girls talks oor a lecture on my punctuality.

"So any new updates after our video conference last night?"

"Nothing Major. This visit of me will help us in new area of launching theme resturant. I have an good feel that this is going to be a massive hit in Mumbai "

I was feeling anxious, again in India close to Pradeep , my life could not be any more worse. Just about to look for this girl who has gone to fetch my baggage I lost my balance colliding with certain guy. I just zoned out landing myself in his arms. As usual anxiety set in me,before I entangle myself away he set me free , mumbled a sorry and made his way. Giving into the irresistible urge I glanced back to see him, already staring at me. Those eyes!

"Baby girl" shrill voice broke my trance , blind panic set in my whole body seeing him standing a foot away from me.

He approached me to engulf me in a hug , but my savior Kavya ran the baggage trolley straight into his legs at the right moment.

Standing beside me and holding my hands to sooth my anxiety fit, Kavya gave a sweet smile to Pradeep, exchanging pleasantries. Throughout the ride back, his eyes was fixated on me.

At times I wonder what is there in me that he is behind my back for past 7 years, alas that can be questioned if he loves me, but it is not love it's an obsession from his end. Breathing in the same air as his pushes me into dark pit. Devi ma, after all the things you have put me through, I don't think you love me. But even .1% of love you have towards me get this creepy a$$h0le out of my life.

"Baby girl, why don't you change your decision of staying in guest house. You can stay in Dhore Mansion, I will be there to take care of you"

What the heck? If it was in my decision I would not even dared to step in the same planet as you are. It must be Buaji who would have said him that it was my wish. I just nodded for a no. He sighed getting no vocal response from me, but with driver and Kavya around us, he will not intrude in my privacy. As much as he loves torturing me he will never put his name in a fix. After all he is one among the successful business man in India, even if he sneeze it will be a news.

Stepping into his guest house, I started exploring the place where I am going to live for next 50 days. I was suddenly pulled into a fierce hug.

"Baby girl, I missed you so much. Now that you are back and our marriage is fixed. Nothing can come in my way to claim you. I wonder how Buaji accepted this, she proved me she is a typical business woman. You are mine baby girl, understand and get that straight into your mind, you are only mine"

"Leave me, leave me, don't you know this is all wrong. Why are you putting me in such pressure? What is it you want?" no amount of my resistance helped me.

"Baby girl don't hyperventilate, just ease yourself. This is your life from now on.And I have all that I need except you" Now he was a breath apart

My heart started its palpitations, voices in my ear deafens me and the familiar darkness enveloped me.

"No no don't come near me Arjun. Adi you take him away. You both never come near me. I don't want to see anyone, leave me please. I am tainted. I hate myself"

"Di , calm down .Look at me ! Look at me" he took hold of her thrashing hands into his and took a seat near to her in bed

Anu looked up to the calm eyes of Adi. Among the two Adi was always the sensible one. Arjun was breaking inside out seeing his Anu's miserable condition, she was kidnapped, molested and was given huge amount of drugs that kept her in unconscious state for a week. When she came back to conscious the wary news of how people abused her for no fault of her reached her ears.

The public who loved her thoughts through her words, claimed her as wanton sl*t, her friends who were proud of her because of her achievements in media industry badmouthed her, parents of her students whom she tutored cursed her openly. She then understood the harsh reality of life. Life is a b!tch. No one loves a person's true soul, but the power, the fame or the beauty which they lack in themselves make them love the other.

"Di you have been huddled up in the same room for a month now, come out of the misery Di. It is never your fault. Me and Arjun knows you. You don't need anyone other than us."

"But Adi how could they believe a cheap stunt and few photos and disregard what they have known for years. My editor gave me a termination notice, none of the students I tutored want to continue their tutions with me. All my hard work went into for years went into drain" she sobbed hard living the worst month of her life.

Arjun who was a quiet spectator all these while sat by the other side of her and hugged her.

"Anu, when ma and paa left us, I never broke down. Because I knew they have left me with you. I never believed in anything but only one thing and that is my Anu's strength. I knew by then you will make me reach heights that everyone will be proud of. Now when that is going to happen, when me and Adi are establishing ourselves in hotel business,we wants you by our side. Just get back to us Anu. Me and Adi have only you in the entire world and you only us. Remember what ma used to say, This shall too pass. Get back to us Anu, get back to us as the same old Anu who shouts at us for being irresponsible, who yells at us for skipping our food ,who fights for us,who fights with us, who laughs at us, who laughs with us."

"Di, let the people who judge you judge, let the people who taunt you taunt, let the people who curse you curse, keep your head high di. Don't let the crown slip down. When years after ,when we are all happily married, when we are going to sit the same way in this room with our spouses, these dark days or the worst people never going to bother our life or matter to us Di. The days which are never going to hold an importance in our life, the people who are not going to be in our life in future should not hold us back now di. Show to those sick b@st@rds what you are, what we are. From tomorrow on we are going to a psychiatrist, not because you need sessions, but because you are going to prove us how head strong our Di is"

Anu hugged both her brothers who in a short span has taken the role of her mother. Just like a parent advises they have advised her. She is proud of herself for the first time that she has given the good upbringing and values to them for past 7 years. At least for them she has to be strong, for her bachu and her Adi.

Unknown to her, Arjun and Adi  already have decided that the sick a$$holePradeep who was the reason for their sister's condition will see his doomsday intheir hands

I know it was minuscule meet.But yeah Arjun-Chandini romance is gonna dominate future updates ;)How was their meet anyways?

What do you all feel about Pradeep? For heaven sake he is almost 12 yrs elder to Chandini yet he wants to claim her ! Is Chandini all good?

And What the heck Pradeep do to Anu and why has he done it?Any ideas ;)

Isn't it sweet of Arjun and Adi to shower unconditional love on Anu :D ?
