CHANDINI'S POV:

I thought I had become strong, I thought he can never ever affect me, I thought the past will never matter. But I was rebutted when I started shivering seeing his spooky eyes run over me from the other end of the video call. It was gullible of me to believe that I was over bygone days which is locked deep down on my brain. Those days when i was helpless,days when his sight made me tremble like a dry leaf,days when i had no one to rely on,days wheni had no one to love me.The moment his voice reached my auditory nerves I paled, my hands chilled and words fumbled in throat.

"Baby girl, where are you? Are you not in home? Kavya where did you get her to?" he unleashed a stream of questions

It was Buaji who answered his questions "Pradeep how much questions you ask her, see she is pale thinking you are angry on her. Chandini had gone to wedding shopping with Kavya and now they are in café. Chandini spoke with me before going for Shopping"

If his eyes were alarming me, the lies buaji and Kavya uttering for his questions were throwing me in abyss. I know that Kavya and Buaji know the entire history but never in these days Buaji took my stance or lied for me why now? I completely zoned out for next 11 minutes, until Kavya pinched me and eyed towards two faces one alarmed and another expectant in her laptop screen. Time for me to answer his question but actuality is I didn't know what his question was. I gazed around in consciousness to witness my Arjun searching for me in the crowd that separated us. That jiffy made me realize how much ever I lack in my confidence, I lack in strength to overcome my past, this swine needs to be walloped for all his past deeds. I will do my best to bring him down in every one's eyes just like he made Di suffer.

"It's time for me to accept the reality and am waiting for you to be here. I want to see you in person." I was not sure what his question where but with this said i know he will be shocked at my change and excited for my acceptance,as if it had ever mattered to him.A glance on his and Buaji's shocked face I ended the call. Kavya was too stunned to react for my statement. I was about to leave towards Arjun when she pulled me for answers.

Before she could query me I uttered "Just like you and Buaji have some explanations to give I have few too. But all in good time. I want nothing more than to assure myself that I am strong and that requires Arjun beside me "Kavya's hold loosened making me walk away.

I felt it took eternity to cover the very short distance between me and Arjun. Till 20 minutes back, my plan was not to face this swine ever in my life. The original plan was to enjoy the 2 days with My Arjun before I part myself from him for my Job. Of course after meeting Di and family explaining my past and my love for Arjun. I very well know that no one will ever throw a tantrum for me being a harassed personality or part of their archenemy's life .It will be a shocker for Arjun, but he will be my pillar of strength like always. Now that I came across my own fear I had felt for that creep I must do something to overcome it. The past I had endured will always be part of my life but that doesn't mean I should cringe or fear every single minute it overshadows my life. I should overcome it and what is better than to face it directly. Sewing up my mind my eyes seeked out for his. As if on cue he turned around sensing me. Smile lit up his eyes writing the unsaid emotions of my love story.

His brows crunched must be because of my sullen face and the next second I was secured in his arms. The safest zone ever in universe -"In His Arms"

"You Okay Basanti?" his tender voice eased my nerves.

I looked up to his eyes and whispered "Now I am "

"Better blurt out everything before I get into one of my crankiest mood swings." Anu almost growled making Pranav come out of his thoughts.

Before he could open his mouth she butted in again "Don't give me afters, latters or some office stuff excuses because I can clearly see you are not. Taking your seriousness I know it's something with our family. You would not be this occupied without sensing my discomfort and sit in the same cafe house for another 30 minutes staring at your emptied cup without realising that our job here is done."

The spur of a moment he heard her being discomfort he rose on his feet and supported her to stand making way out of the café.

"Mithu it's just that Pari. No it cannot be but what if?." He was almost speaking to himself again but stopped seeing Mithu not walking with him.

She scowled "What's with Pari? Don't you dare to hide anymore of what if's and already spit out "

He held her hand and muttered "Let me put this way. There are this 3 persons. Our Pari, Arjun's Basanti and the one whom Kavya want to be safe. So listen the similarities. Pari is in love for some past 20 days and out of town now. So is Arjun's ladylove Basanti. Arjun's Basanti marriage is fixed with some slob on coming Monday so as this girl's marriage with Pradeep on Monday. Not to specifically mention that Pradeep is a slob too. So did you notice these similarities? Why can't Arjun's Basanti be our Pari who is going to get married to Pradeep? Also there is a big chance that all these can be my fictional imaginations"

Getting nil response from Mithu he turned to see her fixed gaze and trailed her visual path to find the two known figures hugging amongst crowd.

"Pranavvvvvvvvv !!!!! That is our Bachu and Pari right? Our Pari is Arjun's Basanti .OMG OMG OMG I cannot freaking believe it. That sneaky little girl was throughout with me but never opened her mouth. She knew Bachu .I have shown her photos of him but see her audacity. She hasn't opened her mouth this to me. It must be because she thought to surprise me. Pranav say something " Mithu turned towards Pranav to see him smiling at her anxiety and that is when she realised she has a flock of audience.

"Pranav I will call Bachu and give him a big do and don'ts with Pari. Nah that is not the best idea. He should know her in and out by himself. Pari deserves the best and she has got one gem. My Bachu. Both are match made in heaven"

"Pranav do you think I should call Pari and let her know I know her secret? No No No she thought to surprise me ,now I will be surprising her when Bachu brings her home back from trip. Right nah ?I will not even say this to Adi even he will be surprised. I am going to only allow you into my plan not anyone else Pranav."

"Pranav do you know what she said me about Bachu being her boyfriend. She said I will be enthralled to meet him. Of course why not he is my Bachu. Bachu and Pari together."

"Do you think is should set up a wedding date before they return?No no he should understand her more they can take their own time"

It was from then only Mithu speaking all through the travel back to home with periodical nods from Pranav. If at any point of time she has composed herself or at least heard the entire confusion of Pranav in Airport she would have realised the ultimate truth of Chandini's life. In her excitement of seeing her bachu hugging Chandini and whispering sweet nothings in her ear froze not only her but also her brain on spot.

It was not the same thing with Pranav though he seemed excited that His Pari has got His Aju, but still the reality is gnawing his brains. It's now known that Arjun's Basanti is their Pari but what about the fact that Pari has hidden her upcoming wedding to him? There can be only one chance and that must be because the groom should be Pradeep. She would have thought that they would hate her if she is related with Pradeep. He still remembered how broken pari was when Mithu's past was revealed to her.Mithu explanined him everything on that day.He did something which he never expected to do ever in his life. To know about his enemy's marital status and fiancé's name. Pranav Googled Pradeep's fiancé name and the result shook him once again. Their Pari is really his Fiance.

Many past things and conversations was huddling his brain.

"Hope we will succeed Adi. Game starts now. He will never know what is going to hit him, but the blow's impact will be huge"

Did Aju know that she is Pradeep's fiancé and was trying to play things with her?

"Anu just before a week I said I am not ready for marriage but I had my reasons after meeting her and realising what I feel towards her those reasons never mattered."

But his Aju will not stoop so low and also he has got a restraining order against him. But the fact they tried using to be a fake one is true and only he knows that. . He either has to speak to Adi or Arjun to clear things.

"Di, I just want to ask you something .What will you do if any one of your brother falls in love with a tainted girl? Will you get them married?"

Those words she asked Anu is for her acceptance into their family. She wanted Anu's consent before moving ahead with Arjun. Is Pradeep the reason for her miseries? Was he the one reason for her suicidal tendencies?

Pranav's mind now was full of volcanic questions and he knew he will never get any answers until he talk with Adi, Arjun, Pari and Kavya regarding it. Before all this he don't want Mithu to think and analyse something so he tactfully put her to sleep. He decided to call Arjun at least to warn him on not to do something gullible but his mobile was switched off. When he reached Adi's line it was busy making him unable to query him. Kavya's line was also busy to the fact that she was huddled in getting orders against Pradeep. Hoping against hope that everything turns to happen good for everyone he retired for the day.

Arjun's POV

From the moment she was back from talking with her friend she seemed perturbed. A sense of panic was set in her. I could not put my finger on what it was except to keep her in my arms to assure her and myself. Once we landed I made a call to Adi while travelling towards our Suite booked for our stay. She seemed quite calm after the hours of travel and was checking her phone when suddenly her face paled and she switched it off. Though it seemed weird I kept quiet watching her and speaking with Adi.

Once the call completed she took my mobile and switched it off making me raise my brows.

"I want this two days entirely for myself Arjun. No phone calls no business. I need you around me for every other second. I switched off my Phone too. Please "she asked cutely that I could not help but smile.

"Hm what is in it for me?" I asked riling her up

Punching on my arms making me wince "Buddhu , Are you even asking this question? Then why did you bring me to goa for a vacation?" she screeched at my ignorant question

"Just kidding Basanti,  you look cute when you are riled up" I said planting a haste kiss on her lips and making my way towards the reception of the hotel we planned to stay

The elevator dinged on the floor of our suite. I plopped myself on the couch while she was looking at the entire place with marvelled looks. Parading the master bedroom, living room, dining area and the other bedroom she was back to her own self.

"Arjun this is fantastic she screamed overlooking the beach from the French window. What is the need for suite? You could have opted out for a room that would suffice us."

"Perks of being a man in the same field Chand. I never knew you would be this cool with us staying in single room if so then I would have booked for one room with much smaller bed" I whispered standing behind her.

"Flirto. You are never a man in action Arjun so quit your dallying talks." She said turning around making me rise my brows but then added cheekily "not that I ever mind those talks"

"Not a man in action? Bad choice of words Basanti. Now let me show you how much I can get into action "with that said I started chasing her while she jumped around the entire suite.

After a stroll and a simple dinner we decided to call off the day. Tucking her in the bed in the master bedroom, I retired for a soothing shower in the other room. When I returned back she was sitting in my room in the middle of my bed giving me a glare. It was a sight for sore eyes to watch that cute glare and demanding eyes.

"Didn't you sleep yet Basanti? " I asked confused seeing her glare.

"Don't Basanti me.You were supposed to stay with me .Why did you come to this room? Didn't I say that each second you should be around me?" she asked whisper screaming in a dangerous tone.

I scooted over to take her in my arms and replied "Understand Basanti. I am trying to be a good boy. Being this cute and demanding something which is highly impossible don't make me a coquet "

She laughed aloud at this and said "I believe in you Arjun more than I believe in myself."

That simple sentence made my heart fly as high as kite. "Can you at least stay with me until I sleep? New place is not going well with me "she asked after a moment of hesitation.

That is how I ended up in the couch by her bed doing the most favourite thing I have recently come across, to watch her sleep. Ensuring that she is deep in sleep I placed a kiss on her forehead and retired to my room.

Now that most tensions are away I am happy that I can have her to myself for now and forever. With her in my arms I feel complete.She has become my universe, my pinnacle and my Zenith

A/N: I know am very late.Never have been this much late but my official trips and personal vacations made me busy to draft an update!I Am sorry!! Next update will be much more quicker!!!

So how was this update?Good /Bad?

Now Anu and Pranav knows the fact that their Pari is Arjun's Basanti!!!I know everyone expected a dramatic sequence of Pari -Basanti revelation!!! Was this good enough?

Well i am not sure how this turned out to be but from next it will be good because we will have the prologue in that one and the other twists coming up!
