Chandini POV:

"Where are you taking me Arjun? Let me sleep "I woke up from my deep slumber when I sensed being lifted in arms, his arms.

"Shhh go back to sleep. I am not kidnapping you Basanti "he drawled a laugh at my sleepy state and secured my seat belt.

"Arjunnnn I don't mind even if you kidnap me "I squealed seeing his stance fixated on me.

"I love it when I get to hear your voice calling me, it assures am having you near me Basanti "he cupped my face and planted chaste kiss on crown.

"I am not even dressed Arjun, where are we going?" I demanded answer when he handled car with an ease, a sight I loved to watch. The way his fist having a grip on gear which seeks out for my fingers in between, his mitt carelessly playing across the steering ,his eyes fleeting between road and the rear view mirror, the occasional, milli second glances he throw my way ,his lips humming the music that is stereo-ed in player.

That glance across me once again and then his husky voice "You don't have to dress up to meet our family Basanti .Everyone will love you more than me even if you are in your PJ's" he chuckled at end.

I could not help but get his tiny compliance that coated his words. He is happy, I am happy and now it's time for my family to be happy. The happy family I have imagined to be a part of.

"Did you let Di and others know Arjun ?" I asked now entirely out of sleepy mode with the excitement to meet them.

"Nope. I wanted you to see Di's reaction when her bachu is with her Pari. Didn't you mention that you missed seeing that moment?" he raised a brow towards me

I launched myself in his arms and stamped a kiss letting out 100 thank you's. There are some small moments in life that screams the love you have around us and this is one such moment.

"Arjun?" before I could finish my sentence he filled in for me.

"I had let Kriti know Basanti, you can call her once everything is settled here. Right now she must be busy with her boss "he winked at me zooming towards the busy roads in Mumbai after our short air travel.

"Arjun I haven't been taking any one of their calls since I was seriously upset by the way they treated you." I said looking down unable to voice out if am sad for him or for the way am ignoring everyone.

"Chand, you know right? I am happy by the way they have taken you in and they treat you with all the love they have. You should not do that to them. I am upset but am okay. After all they are our family. Everyone do mistakes you should talk to them "he said looking straight in my eyes ,while I was confused with his words.

"Arjun do you think am worried because of not talking to them? I cannot stay put like that for a single day. If not for your visit yesterday I would have called them before night. You came and then I got distracted missing all their calls. I am right now worried that what if they are upset on me for not taking calls."

He gave me a look that screamed "Are you even serious?" and huffed pointing out "As if that's gonna even happen at all. You are their pyarri Pari and darling choti. "

I could not help chuckle at his sarcastic remark. "Is someone jealous that am more loved ?" he tried to keep a stoic am not affected look and terribly failed asking aloud "How come they even love you more than me?"

"That's my charm ,charmer"

Our conversation was abruptly put to hold when his mobile rang, he motioned the screen towards me. Di was in call.

He swiped it on and replied "Anu I will be home soon bringing someone with me.Will talk once am home "and put off the call

"Arjunnn" I screamed the way he monotonously answered the call. I am sure Di would be upset by the way he spoke.

"Baby don't spoil the fun. They have rattled me enough let them be disturbed at least for few hours thinking am upset " he gave me an evil glinted smile making me hit his head in process.

As the car came to a halt i looked out to see he stopped at our own hideout. We stepped into see all that I left for him is as such, in addition there are many stick notes that adorned the wall.

I moved into see those legible and neat handwriting of his scribed in all that he felt to ask me for these months in these post it's.

"You made clear we should not speak or see each other Basanti so whenever, that is almost every minute of the day, I want to ask you or say you something I scribed in for you to see when you are back." Arjun said standing behind me letting me know when he had written each one .

There were several miss you, come back soon, hope you are well, post it's. I had secured every one of them in a glass jar to read every single day of my life. This will let me know the depth of love I have been gifted with.

"I am going to get those canvases moved to our room in penthouse "he said easing us amidst the busy traffic.

I could not help smile at his every our getting emphasized.

"Still the offer remains with you to decorate your Bhai's penthouse that we are going to gift him "he said eyeing my smile and I nodded a big yes taking it up.

"We are going to turn it a home for Kavya and Bhai Arjun. Both have never felt the taste to be in their own space and they deserve all the happiness in their own home" I said already planning to decorate the way Kavya may like it.

As we neared the door my heart thumped in excitement to see everyone. He rang the bell while I stood behind hidden.

Door opened to reveal Di with 7 months heavy stomach and the rest of others followed her stance and stood behind her.

"Bachu am sor.." Arjun never let her complete the sentence and took her in hug.

"Shh Anu. Calm down am not angry on anyone. So quit these tears. I seriously wonder how Jeej put up with your nagging all these years." He said allaying her grief.

As he was motioned in by the family he stood rooted at the doorstep turning towards me. I hoped towards the family shocking everyone.

"Pari,Chand,Chotti" echoed the hallway and then all I knew was being squeezed in hug by everyone.

"I should have known that it must be my Pari. You have rattled me Duffer" Di twisted his ears while Jeej pulled Arjun from Di's hold.

"Save him some love Mithu. Poor boy suffered for long and he is the one who truly understands how i  get to put up with your nagging's" Jiju said making Di open her mouth wide in shock.

"Jiju careful with what you say ,you might end up consoling her through out the night today "Adi Bhai butted in making everyone laugh aloud.

"Pari you have gotten thin and am going to feed you until you get back to your old self " Di said after we all had conversed what we have been missing in our life for past 3 months.

"Yea Pari. Though your reports are good, you have shed weight" Jiju said patting my head sitting beside me after reviewing my medical reports.

Arjun chortled sitting in opposite ottoman "She still weighs the same Anu. Basanti better shed some weight, you are heavy to be carried" he said winking at me

Before I could come back Arjun hollowed, holding his legs "What's up with you guys hitting on both sides?"

"Dare say my choti her heavy I will kick you " Adi bhai said giving him a serious look and Arjun turned towards Kavya who gave him a shrug and replied carelessly "This one is for worrying Di unnecessarily when you were all okay with her and to call my Chandu as heavy"

Life is bliss.

ARJUN POV:

Snuggling into the cozy comforter, I wish I could sleep for an hour more on a Sunday morning. But Anu has decided to wake me up which means no ways I can get back to sleep. I am dodging all her efforts for past 15 minutes to sleep but evil her is not ready to let me get my beauty sleep.Sighing I got up mumbling an incoherent good morning and gave her a lazy smile. She reminds me of maa every single time she cares for me.

"Don't give me this sleepy looks duffer. Do I need to spell out what day is today? Your buddy is getting married. I still don't know what Pari is gonna do with your lazy self" she declared reminding me that today Adi and Kavya are going to tie the knot in a simple court wedding.

"Where is my Basanti?" I asked shuffling my way towards her.

"Mithu, all through your talk Aju got to hear was about his Basanti "Jeej entered my room with Pranithra, our little angel.

"Haan Pranav why not? Both baby and Mamu need is their Basanti. Pari is busy getting her Bhai ready "Anu said moving towards me while I got Pranithra in my hands shaking my head at their teasing session.

It's been 3 months since Pranithra was born. Adi and Kavya decided to tie the knot after Di's delivery. As far me and Basanti we decided to get hitched after enjoying this time.Though she already asked me to tie her down with me I want her to be so sure of this step before hurling her in. As Di said Pranithra was her Mami's Angel. With Basanti around it will be very easy to handle this naughty kid.

"Buddy take a sane decision you can even back off now. I can search a sanskari girl for you "I said when Adi was about to tie the knot.

Basanti sent me a death glare listening my jest. Teasing Kavya had become a habit for me that I cannot withheld my tongue even at this moment. But Kavya is not a one to back off she elbowed me saying "Yea Arjun also do a favour of searching a groom for your Basanti.If not for your buddy am taking your Basanti with me. Choice is yours" Anu, Bua and Jeej burst into laughter at the way I was stumped by her while Adi and Basanti gave a smirk.

"But you got married just today" Bua was the first one to speak

"Are you both sure?" Jeej butted in.

"When have you decided it?" Anu looked relaxed and welcoming the decision while Basanti was all smiles giving a go ahead with no words.

Kavya and Adi turned towards me for my reaction. All I could say was "You both will make good parents .Congratulations" Kavya gave me a genuine smile

Everyone had a shocker when Adi and Kavya announced the decision they have made in our family dinner on the day of their wedding ,that they are going to adopt a kid the very next day.

"Jeeju am so sure of it and even Adi is. Maa as Arjun said we will make good parents. We both know what it is to live without someone by your side to face all your fears and struggle by yourself. Luckily we both have got good family so we want at least one kid to have the privilege. So why not from now. Di we enrolled our names for adoption, the moment we decided we are going to get married. They just contacted us a week back so we are going to do it right away tomorrow. We want our entire family to support us in this " Kavya said looking at us and the respect I had for her had raised exponentially.

"So what baby is it?" Basanti asked getting undivided attention from everyone.

"A boy" Adi said making me agape .Well everyone expected that they would have preferred a girl baby.

Looking at me he spoke further "If I had grown to be a man with good values it's all because of Di. Every guy should experience such selfless love, teachings from a sister and to be an armour for her keeping her safe in her hard days. We will have our kid standing by our Pranithra on her tough days and am sure she will be the best sister to him just like Di was to me."

I turned to look at everyone who was moved to happy tears by her Adi's little speech. My gaze landed on Basanti who leant towards me whispering "Marry me Arjun. Make me officially part of this family. Our happy family"

Life is perfect.
