Arjun POV:

The moment I reached my penthouse, I made my way towards Adi's room. This minute what I really need is, his views on things which I have planned. He will surely let me know what I have planned is sane or not.

I barged into his room and kicked his ass to wake him up. My usual move to get him out of slumber. Idiot!!Here I am late from date and he is sleeping with no worries about my safe return.

"Dimwit " he screamed the moment he realized it was me who had pulled him out of sleep.

"Cool buddy. I wanted you awake for a man-man talk and nothing better than this to keep you from sleep." I replied casually seating myself in an ottoman in his room.

"Do you know what the time is? You reach home in early morning and demand to have a conversation with me. Have you gone insane?" he still screamed pissed off from my kickass move.

"It's about Chandini " that got his attention and he scurried towards me with a serious face .Take her name out my entire family will be on red alert to listen all my rambles.

"Wassup with her? Did she fainted again? Are you late because of that? Then idiot you should have called me earlier. Now is she okay?" he piled up question after question making me to chuckle at his overprotective nature. 

"Chill dude. Nothing as such .She seemed totally lost during our date and when queried she said it is nothing. I have a deep instinct that it may be due to wedding. When I start the talk regarding same she quiets me up saying that she will take care. Am confused Adi. How can she handle that swine all alone and call off the wedding? I think that is putting her under pressure. So I decided to do take matter in my hands and want your ideas on it" I looked at his face to see his attention wholly on what I speak.

"And what you going to do?" he queried me with a raised brow

When I completed saying what I have planned, he looked quiet taken aback and said "Will that work Arjun? What if she gets upset? We need to let her know before doing this ."

"I know man, but this seems to be the only way .It's not like am going to conceal it from her. I will let her know on right minute. Also she will have a chance to read the documents when she signs it. So she will obviously get to know if she reads it on signing the documents,if not then let be it. I need your help on getting the documents legalised." I said in a matter of fact tone.

"If you are confident then I am with you Arjun. All I want is her safety and happiness." Adi's support relived me from half the stress

"Adi contact Mathur and let him fasten the pace of investigation, if possible I need all evidences by Friday night so I can let Chandini know he is a creep which will make her understand the act we are going to pull up now. Once she believes he is a creep she will not have any guilt to cancel the wedding and then we can pounce into bringing him down from the position he is in now to avenge Anu. Right now our priority is Chand and her safety" with that said I got into action for what we have planned.

The next few days is going to be hell until I make sure Chandini is safe with me and show nightmare to that swine.

Chandini POV:

I could not stop gushing from the feel Arjun gave me yesterday midnight by our twilight date. He just went way beyond to show his care for me. I was sitting with his note that he scribbled when he left for his home yesterday.

It was true that I was distressed yesterday but then the moment I bid him bye and entered my room, I got the mail which I was waiting for making me sigh in relief. My plans are going well in the right direction. I am waiting for another mail, once I receive it I can be much more confident in my further endeavors. But seems my Buddhu was too worried for me that he turned into a modern day Romeo and met me in my room. And not only that he was asking me a parade of questions, I did my best to assure him that am okay but I know he is not satisfied. I am taking a big step which will make everyone angry at me but I need to do this for me and for Di.

Upcoming days are going to be hell, until my plan succeeds in stopping the wedding and giving back to that A$$hole the torment I have undergone.

I was bought out of thoughts by call from Arjun.

"Hey beautiful, Slept good?" his voice reached me making me go crimson on his new found endearment for me.

"Yea handsome. Seems someone is totally miffed by me haan?" I teased him for calling me in the morning as soon as he woke up. Secretly am loving all his attentions.

"Indeed I am Basanti. I don't feel shy in accepting it" the words made me blush more before i could retaliate he started in a rush "Chand ,I will send in some documents with Adi .Can you signn them and send it ASAP"

I was confused for a second but then replied "Sure Arjun, send it "

"I will meet you by evening for our Date Basanti .Bye "he hung on the call. He seemed to be in a rush so I didn't mind that he hung up soon.

Within an hour Adi Bhai came with documents and seems he was also in rush. He greeted me and handed over the documents. Though I had come to terms accepting him as bhai am yet to address him with it. The moment I signed it he gave me a waywardly look.

"Never ever do this Choti .I mean NEVER. How can you sign some documents without reading them?" he looked disturbed and had a cautious cover in front.

"Chill,I believe in Arjun. If it has to be known by me then he would have explained what this document is all about to me when he didn't do it then there is no need of me reading it. Moreover the document was handed over to me by my Bhai. I believe that he will never let something bad come in my way even if it is from his best friend." The moment I uttered those words, Adi Bhai sauntered over to me and crushed me in a side hug. I know he is trying to not put me in any discomfort but at the same time express how moved he is by my words.

"Thanks for your mountainous belief Choti, we will never let you down. Just keep this belief till the end "saying this he exited the house.

When it was time for Arjun to come for date, I got ready and paced in the portico. The horn of his car announced me his arrival. He seemed perturbed but composed.

"Hey Arjun" I greeted him once he locked his car and walked towards me.

"What was it Basanti? Adi said you didn't read the documents at all." he asked holding my hands in his firm grip.

"Didn't he say the answer I gave for the same question he posed?" I retorted back at him

"Yea he said, but " I didn't let him complete the sentence but bragged the same answer I gave Adi bhai.

"See Arjun what I said remains same. I believe in you and him. Now shed the worry and let me take you for today's date."

I pulled him towards the gate to be pulled back by his grip. He cupped my face and said in a serious tone "Just keep the same belief forever Chand, there are few truth to be unreeled to you"

I instantly understood that he was to say about revenge plan, but I don't want him to say anything about it right now. So I did what I can do to shut him.

After the heated kiss, he seemed to be back to normal.

"So how are we going?" Arjun asked walking with me in pavement.

"Like this " I said getting into the bus, that stopped at right moment in the bus stop that we were walking towards.

After taking tickets to the destination I sat beside him. He wrapped his arms around my shoulder and asked "What's up with you and different modes of transport haan?"

I chuckled at his crazy question and answered "you will get to know the answer soon Buddhu."

After 45 minutes we both walked towards our destination with take away in my hands for our dinner. He hesitated a moment but then followed me inside a small house that looked old.

"Come Arjun this is my home. The place where I lived with my maa" he was stunned for a minute but then looked around.

"There is nothing much here to look around Arjun. Me and Maa lived in this house before she expired and I was handed over to Dhore's to be taken care of. This is deserted for 7 years but is maintained by some helpers of Buaji, I mean Pradeep's buaji. We never had good financial situation to buy needed things so our profile was always low. After maa's demise I haven't stepped into this house because I knew I will not be able to undergo the memories all alone. But now that you are with me I wanted to visit this place once." I said making myself comfortable in his hold. He held me tight sensing my grief.

After a tour of the entire house I took him to the backyard where I use to spend my most time back then.

"What is it Chand?" Arjun asked looking at it.

There was a shack and I remembered the history with it.

"It is a hut, built by maa for me. Though we were not financially stable she made sure to give all things I asked for but in her own style. As you saw we had only one room but the rebel I was back then I tortured maa saying I need my separate room for me to place my things and enjoy the solitude of it. After days of my torture she started building this cabin by herself for me " I said going back to my old days. Arjun's voice bought me out of those days.

"Shall we?" He asked and pushed the cabin door open when I nodded.

"It remains unoccupied" his statement was almost a question

"When I was about to occupy this she fell ill and then I never had time to occupy it." I whispered reliving all those days.

"You miss her. I wish she come back to see how strong her daughter has grown up to" he soothed me hugging back.

I just nodded "Yes I miss her, but I don't wish her to come back. Seeing things that happened with me she would blame herself for leaving alone. At least let her rest in peace between stars and moon without me."

After a minute of silence I broke the hug, mentally chiding myself.

Idiot!!You have very less days with you and you are spoiling it by getting emotional.

I composed myself and said "From now on this will be our hideout. What say Arjun?" I asked winking at him. He gave me a small smile acknowledging my statement.

We spent the rest of evening lying in the hammock in backyard, discussing his childhood. Arjun was a quiet boy back then just like now but Di seemed to be a prankster. I was tiring my brain to share any of my sweet moments with Arjun from my childhood but seems like there was none. Either one was me torturing maa or that Ba$tard torturing me, so I kept quiet listening to his tales.

We were back home,standing by the portico of my house talking x's and zees when Arjun posed me a question.

"Chand ?"

"Hmmm" I hmmed

"Will you select a girl for Adi? I mean ,I owe Adi a lot and he said he wanted an arrange marriage and the girl should be chosen by Anu ,my Di. Will you help her out in picking a girl perfect for Adi?" he hesitated but atlast blurted out.

"Oi teri!!!Why do you even ask such rubbish questions? Afterall who will search for bride if not for his sisters? Of course I will help Di in selecting girl for Adi Bhai " I said winking at him ,already imagining someone perfect for the role.

He pulled me towards him and said "Its Bhabhi" in a serious tone.

"Huh???" I asked not understanding.

"Anu is your Bhabhi not Di. Don't change the relations dumbo" he said hitting my head with a scowl on his face.

LOL Cutiepie Arjun. He is worried that if I call Di as Di he will become as my bro logically.But why should I change calling her as Bhabhi when all these days I have been calling her as Di. Also its fun to tease him.

"Nah Arjun I think I should call her as Di" I said in a matter of fact tone.

"No she will be your Bhabhi "he continued scowling at me

"Whatever we will decide if we get married" I started pulling his leg enjoying his annoyance

He pulled me by my nape and kept a hot scorching kiss shutting me further from any sensical thoughts.

"If we get married uh? We will get married and you are mine Chand. Engrave it in your heart .Remember you are mine, you belong only to me" He declared with a evil grin seeing me flushed

A wide smile spread across my lips hearing him claim me as his own. I nodded my head in positive and ran to my room bidding him bye.

Bliss!!! An Eternal Bliss!!

Somewhere in Pune

"Maa, at last everything is going by our plan. That douchebag's statement is recorded when he thought he was talking to his accomplice when on original it was my men on call with him. He let out the 6 person's name who was going to abduct the six girls. We also traced the location of those 6 girls and now they are safe in our custody. My team will ensure the girls are handed over to their parents once he is in our clutches." Kavya said taking a deep breath

"That's why I see that he was more relaxed entirely today. He is thinking everything is going as per his plans but he don't have a snippet of idea that it was all my daughter's plan. Is there all evidences enough Kavya to take him to your custody? " Vrindha's voice oozed out of proudness.

"Yea Maa almost. We got evidences for the vandalizing activities he is doing at present, for decimating your brother and his wife. But there are larger evidences struck with a journalist who was harassed by this creep. Once I get my hands on the evidences with the journalist we can take him down. Also I will not take him under custody but will ensure he takes his last breath because of me." Kavya's voice boomed with hatred.

"We roughly have only 4 days Kavya, ensure you are back to Mumbai before I come. I want to come open in front of Chandini about all these years and who you are to me. I don't wish to keep her in dark even more when we are cent percent sure he will be doomed." Vrindha echoed her thoughts feeling happy because she will be out of all the deadly secrets once she meets Chandini with Kavya.

"Sure Maa, even I want the same. She will be free from stress that her wedding will be cancelled. Now listen am getting call from my chief will keep you in loop once I get in touch with journalist. Take care maa" Kavya hung on call to take her Chief's call.

"Good evening Mam. Did you get chances to go through the evidences I sent you." Kavya queried playing with her ID card that displayed her designation. Kavya Joshi, CBI

"Time and time again you prove me my choice for selecting you on this undercover secretive mission 3 years back, is not faulty. I am impressed Kavya. When 6 years back you quit the offer of taking up your post citing personal reasons I was enraged by your choices but now I am proud of you. Your dedication to this mission is impeccable. Now I want to take down him the moment he lands in India. Make sure you get everything in place to take him under our custody "her chief's voice reflected the Mirth.

"I am lucky enough that you considered my name to be in your secretive mission Mam.3 years back when you contacted me with this offer and made me come to India from Sydney I thought to discard it but the suspect in this case made me take up this one. This game will end in another few days, I am going to contact journalist who have all the evidences and information against drug deals and human trafficking of Pradeep over past years. That brings us to the climax of this mission Mam. I will keep you posted on progress." Kavya ended the call.

Her ping notification on mobile made her sigh in relief. Now she got the name of journalist, once she get hands on her address everything will be smooth. A genuine smile spread across Kavya' face reading the data about the journalist. She always had a greater respect towards the audacious woman and this journalist was now added to that list.

"Anumithra Desai, we will met soon" Kavya uttered to herself and passed orders to get the contact and address info of this person.

Certainly it will be hell for next few days until Pradeep is taken down and letting Chandini know on the secrets she was kept from.
