Ellie's POV:

How could I be so stupid? I let them break in the house so easily, there are only a few guards at home, and who knows how many men are they, I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen, I just hope my family is okay.

When we arrived, we entered the house, there was blood everywhere, I started to panic, I searched every single room to find my family, and then I saw them. I didn't know what to do they were laying in a pool of there blood, thank god John was here, he called the doctors and in a matter of minutes they were all here.

A few hours later, the main doctor approached us, "I have some bad news,
I'm sorry for your loss..."

All of the sudden the room went pitch black, I couldn't believe what I just heard.

I woke up to John's voice:"Baby please wake up I need you, your family needs you."

Quickly I got up,ran through the hallway, I needed to know what happened.
"Doctor, can you tell what's happening and is my family in danger?" I asked.

"Well first you brother is recovering, he has a few wounds but nothing dangerous,

You sister on the other hand, her body couldn't handle the pain, and sadly she's now in coma, we are doing our best, for her to wake up healthy and for her to recover fast from the incident."

"What about... dad is he okay?"

"We tried our best to save him, but due to his age and his health problems, we couldn't. I'm really sorry Mrs Salvatore."

I felt like my whole world crashed down, my dad was my rock, he was my strengh, he was my happiness, he was my everything, I can't imagine my life without him, it's my fault it should be me and not him, I was naive to leave my family alone without any protection, , I will never forgive myself.

I should be strong for my siblings who needed me, but right now I wanted a shoulder to cry on, when something happens I always shut myself but John always had my back and supported me no matter what, I needed a moment to grieve him, before I could help my siblings get past the pain.
