John's POV:

I couldn't believe what I just heard, I'm going to have a son, wow, it was the best day of my life, I was filled with joy and exitment, I can't believe that I'm going to have a litte version of me running around.

When I looked at El, I saw her crying, I quickly hugged her, with everything that we have been through, I'm grateful to have her, she changed my life, she made me care about someone besides myself, she made me feel, but most importantly she made me a dad.

"Ellie, thank you for everything, without you I probably, would be lost, or be that a**hole that I was, thank you for changing me."

We went home, and like the doctor said, she needed to rest, I didn't let her do anything, I made her stay in bed all day, even though she hated me for it, but she needed to recover, the only time she got up is to use the bathroom, I couldn't risk something happening to her or the baby.

But with everything going on, it was time to get my revenge, on the person that hit her, but I knew that I couldn't leave her alone like this, so I decided to surprise her.

I've blind-folded her, took her hand and led her to the living room, when she took off the mask she couldn't believe what she saw.

Ellie's POV:

When I took off the mask, I was my family, my mom, my sister, my brother, but most importantly I saw my dad, I had a lot of questions on my mind, but right now I just wanted to hug him.

We started crying, I couldn't believe it, how is he here, how did he get out of jail, but the one thing that I knew is that John had part in it.
